Oohhh. Well I have to design so called "Moore's machine" that separates the input values into two outputs, blah blah, that's done. Now I have to make a different thing called "Mealy's machine" that does the same thing. It's slightly different but that's besides the point. How to make it so they're not identical is my question. Because whatever I do it gives me the same circuit.

Is the Mealy machine more complicated that just linking two versions of your Moore machine together but have the input for the second in the series be the possible states of the first?

I think I'd understand better if I saw your diagram.  It's just not something I'm familiar with so I find it intriguing.


Hmm, I think I was thinking backwards anyway...


Actually now I think again, if there is only 1 input then there is no difference :/ 
I mean you can't make a matrix of states by input if there is one input, it's still just states.


I guess you can make it so the number of inputs is a variable you could change, but in the example the value happens to be 1...
