Wow. Never thought I needed to explain this.
Yes, the bible is in and itself a pretty darn old book. However, people are constantly working on new translations in all kinds of languages. New Bibles are being made in more and more languages to reach more people and enable them to read the Bible. Also, the Bible in Dutch has had over 10 translations throughout the centuries, which are adapted to how the Dutch language was used at that time. Besides that new translations in the same language enables to clear up texts that were unclear before (sometimes in a wrong way). If the Bible never was translated we needed to learn Greek or Hebrew before we could make out one single word.
