Dokapon Kingdom is a multiplayer RPG game that is infamous for being able to ruin friendships. Players can choose to fight each other if they wish to through various means, but they can also work together to process the storyline (though the game puts a lot of focus on trying to stop the other players while trying to advance on your own). The game itself works with a system known of various other RPGs, namely that you earn gold and experience from monsters (and if you're lucky an item) and the 'jobs' you have each have an own level as well. Your job affects stats and stat boosts at level ups. You can die in this game that'll put you out of action for a few turns (or in-game days), but dying usually has other negative effects like losing towns or items. Going to the topic of towns, there are a lot of towns all over the map. In the beginning of the game, each town is controlled by a monster. Players can gain control of the town by defeating the monster. Towns all have a different value, and can get higher if the owner of the town invests in it. Also towns generate taxes (and from a certain level items as well), that gets higher as the town level gets higher.
That's the baseline of it. There's a lot more to it, it's quite complicated to put in just one post. And I need to restart the laptop.
