They are surprisingly close, but I can explain emotions a bit better for myself when I look at it from a spiritual view. Also, I like how religion and spirituality are connected for me now.

Even God makes more sense now. Go figure. I managed to connect a few of the most important things in my life more easily from my new viewpoint. It's ridiculous how adding animism to my Christian viewpoint has changed how I look at things.

Then again, that was to be expected considering the 'normal' viewpoints of Christianity and animism.
