This is a poem I wrote shortly before becoming ill. (Thanks go to the song "Me Against The World" by Simple Plan for inspiring me)
Nightmare Hero
They called me a nightmare,
A disaster, a being without care.
I'm a fighter, a warrior,
Someone mentioned in ancient lore.
Some call me Nightmare, others call me Hero,
But I truly don't know...
Am I darkness, am I cruelness?
Blotting out the Sun?
Am I light, am I one of eternal fight?
...Has this just begun?
I'm a nightmare, a total disaster,
Keep with my pace and be so much faster!
I'm a true warrior, a proud fighter,
One who makes this world so much brighter!
You call me Nightmare, with a spitefull tongue.
You call me Hero, and say that I belong.
I am the shadows, I am moonlight,
This is why I fight.
I am the fire, I am sunlight...
But I am all I am!
