The Walking Dead

[Rayleonarde]

Ray took a few swings with the butt of his rifle, before the undead were clumsily pulling it away from him. The weapon clattered to the asphalt, and Ray shook uncontrollably. "I-I'm s-s-so dead." He swung the light backpack he had towards the fetid arms that reached up to pull him down.

[London The Wolf.]

I finally burst from my cover and start chopping I kill several of the walkers instantly and kick rays gun out from the swarm back about twenty feet trying as hard as I can to not become walker chow cutting of hands and legs. "Ray Run!"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray jumped from the truck, but landed hard on his left foot, twisting his ankle at an odd angle. He yelped, fell, but struggled to his feet, and limped to his rifle.

[London The Wolf.]

Fending off a few other walkers I start to run too. Seeing ray limping  I quickly adopt a defensive position. "You keep running. There's a ladder on a store wall a few houses back. Go there" I start to keep a few of the things at bay. "Go!"

[Rayleonarde]

Ray nodded, and started off. After a few minutes, he reached the ladder and struggled to climb it.

[London The Wolf.]

After felling a few more walkers I run back to the ladder and climb up it. When I reach the top I pull it up and just sit on the lege panting a little. "Are you OK? I saw you walking funny. Not to mention the swarm down there."

[Rayleonarde]

Ray shook his head. "A-A-Ankle...I-I think...I-I broke i-it." He looked down at his ankle, which had swelled considerably.

[London The Wolf.]

"Shit just... Just hold still. I got some supplies for this" I start to pull out a splint and some bandages and a dose of morfine. I inject ray with the morfine and I contue to set the ankle in the splint wraping it up and praying my efforts where to task.

[Rayleonarde]

Ray yelped as soon as London laid paws on his ankle. He looked on the verge of tears, even with morphine running through his system.

[London The Wolf.]

"I wish I could do something more for you." I look at ray with an expression of empathy and care. I just pull my knees up to my chest and wrap my arms around them. "I hope you know I don't plan on doing anything to you. People are not the most receptive to help now a days." I just sigh and sit there.

Ray, who had done nothing but stare at the roof on which they sat, finally spoke. "T-Thank you."
