I don't know. Maybe its because its cozy. To think of the soft fur, and the open minded stuff about it.

Its just kinda nice ^^

As much as being floufy would be awesome, you also have to accept that there are complications to come with it. For example, it will take you FOREVER to dry your fluff after a shower, and we would probably have to worry about fleas and stuff

But I would still like to be floufy despite all that

Yeah I'd like that, but you will must shower more often, because of the things that get caught in your fur, and also, when it's hot it's hell of a coat you can't put off... But you can mow your fur if you can't stand heat... I don't know if I'd do it though...

At least you guys don't have long hair and antlers.

The horror of drying my hair in a towel would result in a monthly loss of $400 just to get more towels.

Imagine accidentally biting your tongue with razor sharp teeth, or going to scratch an itch and having your claws out by accident. How about being overly-receptive to foul smells due to an extremely sensitive olfactory system? Good luck finding a set of glasses to fit over non-human ears as well. Also, if your lineage involved predatory animals, the increased refresh rate of your eyes would mean you would need a special TV or computer monitor to see everything correctly. Lots of complications would become apparent, as you can imagine.
