Hey! In this thread you can talk about anything military! I myself will be going into the U.S. Navy with the ambition of a Combat Hospital Corpsman in a year or so.




Feel free to talk about military tech, branches, and anything to shoot the breeze with military minded furs. :3

Personally I've never thought of joining the military, but that's mainly due to the fact that I am somewhat negative towards the military because the United States puts more money into the military in a year than NASA has ever gotten- not the military itself. However I might do well there, as apparently a great Grandfather of mine was in the military as part of the Air Force for WWI, and he even has a wikipedia page about him.

The Navy also conducts a lot of disaster relief, and the funding goes for the latest in tech. That's cool about your great grandfather! Mine was the first wave of Omaha on D-Day in WWII.

I want to join the army as a combat engineer, but I most likely will not be able to. At least I want to go to the citadel, where my dad went to college.

My grandfather was in the Korean War, as captain casablanca. It had a nice ring to it.
