Just an idea right now, me and a friend are piecing together a Serious Roleplay (Hopefully with some fun bits)
It will be set in a Sci Fi universe where years after a tragic incidence destroyed Earth, humanity (or Furmanity? hue hue hue
) had to branch out and colonize every planet in site to keep humanity (Repeat joke above) from running out of resources and space.
To keep the colonizing in order the few remaining diplomats create "The Alliance" which kept the military and colonies in order. You're a member of a rag-tag squad the Alliance put together hastily after one of their commando units went down investigating a disturbance on a recently colonized planet.
