Enlightening advice for all
« on: May 29, 2012, 01:11:32 AM »
Hey, are you feeling down today?

Cheer up! :) Everything is going to be okay. Sometimes in life we must feel sad in order to know what happiness really feels like. Sometimes we need to feel what being alone is like so we can cherish friendships and relationships and fully enjoy them. Life can be hard and cruel sometimes but it can also be bright and giving.

Cherish what life has given to you. Whether it be the house you live in, the friends you already have, even the nature outside. You don't like cloudy days? It will be sunny one day! You don't like sunny days and prefer winter? It will be cold one day! And then you will really appreciate it and have a good time!

I guess what I"m saying is..enjoy life, life is a gift and to be born with all the things you have is a blessing. You have a bed, a computer to talk to friends and food! (LIKE COOKIES)

So if you're having a bad day..just remember that tomorrow's just a day away. :)

Ah, this is relativism Rinny! I'm glad you picked it up :D

Yes, to get the scope of something you need to compare it to something else. If you were always happy the happiness would dull and you'd never be happy, just neutral. So yes, embrace life, think of the time now and try and enjoy yourself :P

here are you saying that there will be a good day in the future and that you just have to wait until that day arrive.
After thay you say that you must enjoy the life. Let me ask this; Can you enjoy the wait for a new nice day?

I think you must make you life good, not wait until it comes but make sure it comes.
But this is my opinion

You gotta learn how to appreciate the good in life. And to fully appreciate it sometimes you gotta experience the downfall. Sometimes that wait can be the downfall.

You know, once I was REALLY depressed, then one day as I was walking up the road, depressed as ever, I realised I had no right to be, because there is so much I have that many others don't. Don't believe me? Come to South Africa :D

I say this is legitimate advice.

I think humans have the guilty pleasure to choose which time period to focus on. Whether the present is beautiful and the future will be beautiful or the present is bad the future is good or the present is bad and the future is good. We can either think of the present, future or both, think of whatever is good and focus on that which makes you happy.

Okay, I agree with this. If you don't enjoy things you have now, You never will enjoy you're life.

Agree  :)  the brain controll you're body so If you brain things that you enjoy it, You feel good and if you brain think it's all bad, you will feel bad.
I think a emotion of a person can controlled by the person self, but it's hard to do it.

So you could controll you're emotions  ^_^ and you're not depressed anymore? Thats a good thing!

Whenever I feel down in the dumps ( always wanted to be able to say that old fashioned statement :)) I just put a smile on my face. Crack a few jokes or get out and be around people who make me happy. When you smile and crack a few jokes then its easy to stay happy. One thing that I can't always control, but I am working on, is not letting other people's opinions affect my mood. I don't care about opinions on my beautifully in tune and on key singing voice so that's where I practice not letting people opinions pull me down - just ask Mr Razot ;)
