Hello Umber.


I'm Otebon Albrecht and I just wanted to welcome you to the Forum. Believe me, I'm in the same boat you are about telling people you're a Furry. I've only told one person face-to-face (my girlfriend) and it was a nerve-wracking experience for me. I was so nervous...


Luckily though, she thought it was actually kind of funny. "Kinda explains a few things," she said with a laugh after I was finished giving her a 10 minute dissertation on Furriness in General and what I do in the fandom. She still laughs about how nervous I was telling her.


Moral of that story: If you pick the right person and explain what Furry means to you, it'll come out just fine. I believe in you.


Also, fantastic drawing of Okami Amaterasu. She is my favorite Shinto Goddess and the Wolf form they used for the game of the same name is just beautiful.

I wanted to volunteer at the local zoo this last summer when I had nothing else to do, but they only offer volunteer options to students. ;-; I bet it's fun.
