I recently was reminded of a cartoon I used to bug my parents to rent for me at the video store, but I can't remember the name of it. This has been bugging me for awhile

, and I hope someone can help me find an answer

.
The movie starts off with a young fox cub's family getting killed by hunters. The cub takes shelter with a grizzled, hermit, veteran fox, who raises him.
When the cub is grown, he comes across a female fox trapped in a cage in the back yard of a hunter. He teams up with the veteran fox to break the female fox out. They attempt to free her by digging under the cage.
A quote from the veteran fox, in regard to when the female fox tries to dig her way out of the wooden cage, goes somehthing like "you should've used them [nails] more"
If anyone knows the name of this movie, or a place where I could find the name of this movie, I would be extremely thankful.
