My decision

I have given a little thought to my charicter and decided that I am half Wolf half Tiger.

So either way I am mean and moody(lol)

I was thinking about this. I like the coloring of the Timber Wolf and them majical blue eyes, but the Tiger is so majestic and beautiful in itself.

I was thinking of maybe the wolfs head (although enlarged) with his main and blue eyes, on the Tigers body. Although the stripes would be a bluey color on a grey background but with the power of the tigers body.

Anyone with any suggestions to help would be appreciated.

If you dnt mind me saying, your avatar looks like one of those "dont add water" germlins from the movies.  It might be a good idea to select a more appropriate avatar to reflect this choice which BTW is a good one.  I just think that you should be accurate so as not to confuse people.

I have not yet selected an avatar because I have not yet completed my character idea.  I think yo havae done very well to have got this far with it but please change your avatar ok.

I think what Ross meant was that it can be confusing if you're a wolf/tiger, but your avatar is a Gremlin, many people would likely assume your fursona is a Gremlin. Eph is right however; you can choose to have whatever avatar you want. There's a section in your profile where you can show what species you are underneath your name, and that's what people generally look at now rather than going by the avatar. I personally put up an avatar of whatever I want (at the moment it's a cougar), but my fursona is still a cat/dragon, as said underneath in my more detailed profile info.

I wouldnt mind if he was an experienced member here but he only signed up around the same time as me, and you dont see me telling people what to do.

No matter, its ok. I will decide my avitar for myself.

I'm glad you made a decision on which animal to be.  I am leaning towards a goat-man myself.  I haven't picked colors or fur style yet but when I am absolutely sure about it I will select an appropriate avatar to the character.  

I have already had some pretty good suggestions for background stories, etc so mine will be really good when I finally unveil it.  I really dont know what is the big deal about this.  I am not a rude person.

BTW Gizmo, what difference does it make how long I've been here?  If you want to give me suggestions I would at least consider them just as I would consider anyone else's suggestions even if they sere here longer than you.  I really dont see what difference this makes.  Maybe we can help eachother figure this out and be all the etter off for the cooperative effort.  All I was suggesting that you do is to maybe make a change to be more accurate and then people will begin to identify you with your animal and colors that they se in your avatar.  Perhaps you could just change your colors on the germlin to more accurately reflect your choices.

At Ross:
I know your affinity for accuracy, but as said before users can use whatever avatar images they want as long as it stays within the rules of the forum. He may not have an image that is up to par for his fursona, and even so he might not want to use it. Not everyone on here uses their own fursona in their avatar images... Some people can take offense in what you say even if you are trying to help, if you want to make a suggestion, use some tact.

At Gremlin:
I can see how you came off as Ross being rude, but I fail to see how the date that he signed up has anything to do with it. Even older members are capable of being rude or not giving good advice (if that's how you're viewing it.).
