Things you have given a new life to around the house
« on: November 19, 2016, 12:50:47 PM »
Title may seem odd but heres what i mean: things that you have reused around the house and not put out to be collected

Like me ive just been able to reuse our old wooden table to act as my workbench for my garage since its being swapped out for a glass table

Same as im reusing a old cabnet in the garage to hold things like car oil filters and such

So what are you reusing old things for even just small things?

Cans. After being washed out thoroughly they make for great change collectors instead of just letting stray change build up in places that could easily get it lost.

also have old kitchen cabinets in the garage, and use many "used" things. tooo early to think of many right now, but try to be a good steward...

Right now, I just have a "cat tree" made out of multiple boxes ductaped together, and some blankets LOL. We can't afford an actual cat tree, and our kitten loves boxes anyways so we figured why not :P I always try to be sure I don't need something before I recycle/throw it out.  Threw most of my repurposed stuff away during the move, but now that I'm settled in I'm waiting for it to start again haha

I get my photo references by dissecting old magazines.

I use large yogurt containers to hold my art supplies.

Sometimes I'll hang up pictures in my room from retired calendars.

I've used the card board from card board boxes when matting some of my own art work.

I use old white T shirts as rags for cleaning around the house.
I'm at the borderline of my faith,
I'm at the hinterland of my devotion
In the front line of this battle of mine
But I'm still alive... I'm the soldier of love

Pulled the drawer out on my desk cause I don't have enough space for my hardware. The drawer acts like an extra square of desk that is JUST big enough to fit what I needed to put there.

An old door that was in my basement is now my desk. it makes a nice big desk and is supported by two drawers to put all my crap in.
