Question about avatars and signatures!

Hey, I see the majority of people here have avatars and signatures with their fursona.

Where did you get yours? Did you make them yourselves or did someone do it for you?

And would anyone like to make one for me? ? I'm not especially talented when it comes to drawing my fursona.

If anyone would like to help a new girl out, I'd love to help you with whatever I can in return!

Gender: Female
Species: Neko
Height: 5'6
Weight: Average weight, like 135ish
Coloration: Black fur with white tips on the ears, tail, and paws. White stomach, and 4 very thin white rings on the tail.
hair length: Longer than most cats, but definately not "long haired". Tail is very bushy
Eye Color: green
General personality:  Spunky and seductive in a tom-boyish way. Slightly mysterious.
Clothing: Whatever tickles your fancy! I'm not a girly girl, so anything kinda "punk rock" (god I hate that term)

well, a lot of the people have their imvu avatar here, another bunch found it on the net, and some people draw it.... none of that goes for me though, mine is a photoshop creation, but it isnt my fursona (not a furry, thats why i dont have a fursona)

Yes, with my signature and avatar I have my actual avatar from IMVU.

I drew this one 2 years ago but it still amazes me ^^ On every registered forum I use furry or scally avatar ^^'

My signature is my IMVU banner I photoshoped. It links directly to my catalog page.
My signature however was drawn by Miw and then I touched it up quite a bit.

I"m sure there's a few willing artist on this form that would be welcome to make a fursona pic for you.

My own avatar (and my profile images) are screenshots of my IMVU avatar, my banner portion of my signature was taken from two IMVU screenshots and put together in an animation program (and it links to my IMVU catalog as well), the 'sprite edit' was done by an individual (who also did the banner and will remain nameless unless she wishes to have herself known for it.) (Forgot I took out the 'sprite edit' to allow for the banner.)

As for requesting of avatar/signature images, that would be best left for the Art>Requests section.

I'm new to the whole concept of IMVU. To get a furry avatar do you have to have a developer account?

There are quite a few developers who do make 'furry' items... just be sure to 'search' for that particular animal type.
