Guys, I just can't take my mother's bullshit anymore, she's screaming at me because I chat via voice with friends, and she doens't like it, and now she decided what job I'm going to have when I'm 18. She's completely ignoring the fact I want to have a job I'm happy with, not a job that pays well, I just can't take the fact she's starting fights with me because of everything I do and want for my life, I'm seriously considering leaving home and go live with my dad, at least he's a chill guy and understands my pretty well. I just wanted to get this information out of me because I need advices on what to do about this...

You're definitely not being a crybaby. Those are legitimate problems you're dealing with. 


From what little information I have about your home life, moving in with your dad sounds like a good idea.

The only thing holding me back are my friends and my pc, my father's house is a lot smaller than my current home, so I'll have to wait for him to move somewhere else in order to have my pc, and I would probably have to go to a different school, far from the people I know...

Are you sure you wouldn't be able to take it? PC's don't exactly take up a ton of space.


As for the folks you know, that's always a shame, I was lucky not to have that problem. 0f course, with the Internet stuff you won't lose contact. :)

Dude, I have a slightly similar problem with my dad, but he is fighting with my mom and always making me angry, along with my sis, and my father has been teaching his ways to my sis without knowing.

If your mom is prone to such quick decisions, there is a chance that she might change her mind in time. Wait a bit, see if anything turns for the better. If not, you will have to decide where you go based on what you can stand. Plan deliberately.

Yeah... I think I'll wait and see if she changes, and to see if my dad gets a better place, I also have the option to live with my sister, but I feel like I'm going to be a burden to her...
