Games that I made
« on: September 13, 2012, 02:59:54 PM »
I don't know if I have to post it in "Artistic Stuff " or here. but I want to show some games I made.
Many people here show everyone his of her drawings so why can't I show my games ;) . I won't upload everything.

I think that one of the greates things is if you can make a job out of your hobby. I want to be a game developer.
To achieve this, I need to improve myself. so please say your thoughts about my work. you are free to say anything even bad things but then I also want to know why. Thank you a lot.

This is a game I made with some people on the global gamejam. for those who doesn't know what the global game jam is: I was put in a small group of 6 people that I don't know. we had 48 hour to make a game. this is a nice way to meet new people. we had a lot of fun.
this was the game we made:

to go to the next level you have to die. like you see on this pic. first you have to die on the spikes and then you can jump to the other side.
we made this game in xna. we didn't had a lot of time so the code isn't really good.
if you want to play this game see http://globalgamejam.org/2012/morituri

The GLOBAL GAME JAM takes a lot more that 6 people to host, the 2012 had 6 host companies just for the US parts.

I've been trying to reconnect with the Meet-Up group in my local area that has been part of the Game Jams, Had the Global in January, and two local Game Jams this year, but I missed the last one.

I have a personal project game that is still in the Alpha stages, not sure how long it's going to take to finish though.

I used to be a Gamer, Then I became a Game Developer and my systems are collecting dust.
I am Thagarhn, nothing more, nothing less.
