A thousand burned
« on: September 28, 2010, 11:42:18 PM »
"When you arms are bounded, and your legs shackled; when your fingers bleed, and your knees buckle; when you are wiped to the bone, and drained of your soul; when your a child is torn from your arms and you are expected to do nothing; when you are to sit and watch your wife bleed as she holds you dead baby...Then you will know my pain, then you can share the felling of your thousands of brothers and sisters who silently cry out in anguish everyday; then you will know what is means to suffer, then you will know why you wouldn't want this for your children, then you will know why you must change this, even if you die in the end, you must try to stop this suffering..." the speaker takes in a deep breath, as a tear escapes his eyes, "But you know nothing of our pain, you know nothing of our struggles, you know nothing about us.. You will soon learn, that a caged animal can not be trapped forever, you will learn that a clipped bird will fly eventually; the more the animals thinks of the wild, the more the bird dreams of the sky; the more it will fight, the more it will try.; until it takes flight, and brakes this cage of suppression. When your city's burn with the flames of our suffering, and your people are crushed by our resolve. You will then know, that we belong to no one, that we are some one; you will know that we will be suppressed no more; you will know the wrath of the suffering; and you will know, that the suffering, will suffer no longer" A large old man said as he stood up with his arms shackled to the floor. He gazed at the minsters who stood in front of him, they all gazed at him with disbelief, disgust, or hate, but what they all saw when they fixed there tired, hate filled, little old eyes, was fear.

As every great story unfolds, with new twist, so must the story, yes I've changed it a little from it's orgional post, but no one will notice >> :P

----------------------------------------------------------------------- update ------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll upload more, even if I get no response, I write for myself first, and for an audience second..

A guard in all black came behind the old man, "speaking out of term, now that's gutsy.. speaking like that... that is life threatening.." he garbed the old man by his hair and bulled his head back.
"Release him" an old women coming from the back said, she was a highly respected minister, she wore red silk and had two large men behind her. She had a silver engraved collars around both of them, which signified her wealth, but also her power, she was the head of one of the noble family's.
"But Mistress, he sp-" the old women glared at the man, he let go of the old man, "Next time you speak out of term, I will have you killed on the spot" the old women said to the guard. The old women walked up to the old man, she looked over his half naked body, he had bruises all over his body, and cuts that are still in the prepubescent age of healing.
"Life has not been to kind to you old friend, but no matter how kind it is or isn't, you should know that life is still a blessing, even in it's most hate filled nights, or in its most horrifying days, tomorrow is always something to look forward to, " she put her warm hands on his cold, and worn down, face, "I still remember when you spoke those words to me when Martis died.. you pulled me out of my hate filled depression, and now I'm here to save you, as one kind deed needs another, one lost soul, must find another." She pulled his face closer to her and then she hugged him.
