My Money Rant
« on: February 06, 2011, 08:34:24 PM »
I'm really curious to know how so many people get so much money, and they don't even have to do anything to get it, yet I bust my butt daily, and don't get anything at all.  I'm not really referring to anybody in particular, just humans, as a whole, seem to always have enough money to get by and even buy a couple of nice things every now and then.  Is there something I haven't learned in my 20 years of life that is preventing me from getting money?  I get really upset that I can't be included in so many different things just because I don't have the money to get the things I need to participate.  I get really upset that I have to drive a failing vehicle with no heater that won't go over 50MPH over 50 miles a day, and everybody else has nice warm new cars that get aren't about to break.  I just don't understand what is causing me to be left behind...did I do something in a previous life that I'm now being punished for?  Why is it so hard to get by for me?

Not everyone can do that. I know that I can't. Heck, I'm riding around in a jeep with a broken window right now. Sometimes things are just hard, and I imagine that it will get better when we all get older and have more experience.

I can't even afford my driver's licence and I already owe the government lots of money for my education and I have never had a single job so I can't even continue my education because I can't afford it. I can barely afford toothpaste. So no, you're not the only one. You just choose to see those people. And I can't blame you.

I would be able to get a job if I had a vehicle that wasn't on its deathbed.  The motor is going to seize soon, and there's nothing I can do about it.  I can barely make it to college and back for the week because it only gets about 5 miles per gallon, and gas is over 3 bucks a gallon here, leaving my tank empty to try to find a job, much less get to that job AND school AND home.  That is the single most important aspect of every single human's well-being, is reliable transportation.  I would use public transportation...but we don't have any here.  There are no buses, and very few incredibly high priced taxi's, and 50+ miles is too far to walk or ride a bike...I feel so...empty, or maybe that's not the right word...just...I want to be able to be a productive person, but everything seems to be working against me...

I wasn't aware that there were any services available to help a person get a worthy vehicle.  I know I won't be accepted for loans, my credit is (and has been) down the tubes for quite a while.

Well, the only kind of job I'm going to be able to get anywhere won't be anything good.  It will probably have to be fast food, which blows the big one, but at this point, I'm so desperate I don't even care.  The biggest problem is the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere.  I can' get a job close by because there aren't any businesses close by at all.

Mm. Then maybe someone can help you think of something that will help?  I'm sorry I can't think of anything.

All I can do is hope that maybe somebody can help.  I have very little faith that too many people care, but as you said earlier, that's because I base what will happen in the future on what has happened in the past.

i know how that is VERY well.

my car likely has a year at BEST left it it...it runs nicely though cause its a retired fire marshals car...and station cars are maintained really well
its a 1995 Crown Victoria and only my window works. its OLD (its still got the paintjob too..sometimes people think im a cop X3)

but yeah..i make JUST enough to pay bills and rent...i almost never have enough to play with

but i got my tax return of around $700 dollars and its active on the 18th..so ill have some play money...FINNALY

though to you.from what you say your fairly open mouthed to the customers...it might help you stay employed better if you took the heat and just let it roll off your backs...remember...there the idiots not you..customers are by definition whiney..needy and have a god complex as soon as they walk in that door...but its really YOu in charge..dont foret that..just stay calm...polite...and they can be as asholish as they please..but in the end..your the one making money

Nowadays  to get real money your  either a computer wiz genius like Bill Gates or a con-artist (like most bankers and stock brokers). If you want money try learning accounting and learn how to be a really good booky...But most high paying jobs as I've seen at Merrill Lynch you need a person from the inside to get to the real stuff...that and a good place to live where you have access to the so called money world. Cities are like giant amusement parks with money going everywhere, if you know where to look (mainly bars and nightclubs). You also need a lot of confidence when talking to people who pay well, show your worth, be a bit talkative cuz what more  do you have to lose? Just make friendly conversation, think of it as like fishing or hunting, have fun while still keeping in mind the goal at hand. Also try looking for government grants... its kinda like jumping through flamming hoops but a persons got to do what a persons got to do. Go the extra mile, cuz nobody will do it for you.
This all sounds kinda pychopathish but that's how it's done. Become the friend to get at their wallets...who would expect it. It's all a con filled with smoke and mirrors, you have to learn about the illusion in order to pull off the trick and its not pretty. That's why people with money are veiwed as heartless pigs... that's because in order to be rich they ripped out their own heart and sold it for cold cash and roll in it.

Right now I'm working on my second degree in Biology in hopes to get into a lab, there is always a need for good scientists but you have to be excellent in everything you do if you wish for the social boost, but pay off is good. If  people are going to pay for you, sadly you have to be very convincing, and degrees helps make for short conversation cuz it shows you did the work. Maybe if I do well with Biology, I'll probably go for a degree in Health and Nutrition and become a dietitian or nutritionist. All I know is that it is going to be hell so I best be prepared to take on the horde by myself...fight on and never surrender. ^_^

I am that I am, even if only for a moment. And I will always try despite my flaws to summon what I can to become better than what I was.
