At last, the sequal to the relative success that was Everflame is finally here. After the debacle that was the Wild West RP, I'm glad to go back to doing what I'm good at.
Since there's a lot to go through both for people new to Everflame and for returning players, I've broken it up into segments that will be posted once per day. The last post will tell you how to set up your character. But right now, we have backstory.

To anyone wanting to join but weren't involved with Everflame 1, here's a quick run down of what you need to know.
It's the far future. The galaxy is all under one banner, with its government and major powers centred on The Capital Sphere. This sphere is a city in space that floats from solar system to solar system. It is a utopia that made incredible leaps in science and sociology. Any planet it approached was magically progressed with greater work rate, lower crime and greater health and well being. What most people didn't know was that it owed this to a small and unusual rock. Those who did know about it called it the Everflame.
In the previous RP, the rock was supposedly stolen by a bounty hunter named Korius. In reality it was Asia kali who took it and led a team to Serra Draconis where a machine spread the everflame's power across the galaxy, giving everyone a feeling of happiness, and making the galaxy a better place. They're pursuers, the Galactic Authority, who failed to stop them, even as their greatest commodore, Afgha Kali, went mental and tried to stop them himself, gave up the chase after two years, as the resulting well-being was accepted as reason enough to forgive Korius and his team. Of course, since the public had no idea that the everflame existed and just think that Korius and Asia were major criminals who had destabilised the capital sphere, the fugitives were forbidden from being seen on any of the central, more affluent planets, restricting them to the border worlds.
At the same time as all of this, a small group of marines were saved from a planet infested with Triffids. They got mixed up in all the madness mentioned above, and it turned out that one of the crewmen that saved them was a mass murderer. However, through a sense of loyalty, they helped almost everyone escape and headed out into the galaxy, being chased by the law. During the escape, some of them died but the leader of the marines called Kate, was injured and left on the GA (Galactic Authority) Flagship. She was medically treated there, and transported to a prison planet where she stayed for ten years, after which she was released.
Everflame 2.0 starts off twenty five years after the theft of the Everflame. Since then, this magical rock has stopped working. Nobody knows why, but across the galaxy, the daily grind is returning to a normal level of happiness and misery in equal measure.

This next bit is more for the sake of people who were part of the first Everflame RP. These characters probably won't have much impact on events that unfold in this RP, since most of these people are based on the border worlds, while the action should take place on the Capital Sphere. But then you never know what will happen. Maybe they will still be important.
Afgha Kali survived the fight with the bounty hunter Korius, and tracked down his brother, Asia. They now live together with Asia's new family on the border worlds.
Tabby, a young cat who tagged along with Asia during the previous RP, lived with them both for a while, before setting out on the galaxy as a bounty hunter, following in the footsteps of her obsession, Korius.
As for the crew of the Admiration, who saved the triffid marines, the captain, Marcus Dresen is now old and tired, living alone on a border world and waiting to die. Daray Mabaton, the mass murdering Lynx, and husband of Tina, the cat, had died about five years previous and was buried in the Captain’s garden. Tina never really stopped mourning, and so decided to leave, and see what the galaxy could show her. This move was nothing more than a wish for distraction.

Right then, now that we’re all caught up on current events, let’s talk about Everflame 2.0
As I said before, the Capital sphere will be the centre of the action, but there’s no reason not to be on some other planet, of whatever description you’d like. I’ll mould a story around every one of you. In the first RP, half of the story happened because Kitt wanted triffids, so I accommodated. Expect me to do the same for anyone else.
Also, the everflame itself is in a science facility in Serra Draconis. In the twenty five years, the facility has been cleaned of triffids but the planet itself is still covered in them, all in the name of security. A lot of money has gone into protecting that rock.
Now this bit is VERY important.
The Everflame itself apparently appeared in the galaxy out of nothing and for no reason, but this isn’t true. It fell through a point where dimensions overlap. It came from a dimension of light, and colour, with beings made of the very material that is in lightning, or the Aurora Borealis, the fabric of stars. It is a place where emotions are tangible, and to die is to be alien. Fabled creatures find form here or are drawn to its natural energy.
To the inhabitants of this land, time is unimaginable, and living and dying are unheard of. Here the laws of physics are the impossibility, and so there are creatures that make a colossus look smaller than a grain of sand.
When Howl, a member of Asia Kali’s team, died, he crossed over to this world as was prophesised by the entity known as Seeker. She has joined him there and together they act as diplomats to the so-called Real Dimension. They were chosen for this job as people who fall through the real world in this strange dimension are incredibly rare, and these two are the most recent arrivals. To them, the twenty five years have been a blink of an eye, so they still remember much of the ways of the Real Dimension.
The dimension of light recently found out about the everflame falling through the cracks. Such an event is incredibly dangerous, and they cannot afford these two dimensions colliding any more than they already have. Howl and Seeker have been sent in to get the rock back as soon as possible, or else the extra dimensional beings will go in and take it by force. However, due to the unrecognisable perception of time, this invasion could be in five minutes, or five hundred years in the future, or even into the past.
And all together, that was a thousand words of back-story. next will be rules, character profiles and all that jazz.

The Nitty Gritty stuff.
Here are the rules:
-No over-powered characters or Deus Ex Machina
-Wait for others
-Feel free to throw in a story element or event, but only if you think it will be fun and engaging. If you’re not sure, run it by me first.
-insta-kills are allowed but are extremely rare, need to be cleared by me first and must never cut someone out of the rp. The one dying needs to consent as well. (For the sake of an engaging tale, dont be afraid to lose a character or two)
-Follow the nature of the society you're in
-Dont be afraid to lose a battle or get arrested or anything like that. A good story needs highs and lows and who knows where those lows will take you.
As for characters. You can make a character in either the normal or the strange dimension, but I highly suggest focusing on the real dimension. It makes things easier for people to keep events straight in their head.
In the real dimension, you can start anywhere. There are billions of planets out there, billions of cultures and billions of species. You do with it whatever you want, as long as it obeys the laws of physics.

Returning players of Everflame 1 can use their old characters and can also make new ones.

Occupation: Head of Security on the Capital Sphere
Weaponry: Plasma pistol in her office draw, a ballistic assault rifle at home and an ornate ceremonial sword perched on its stand on a shelf in her office
Biography: She grew on the Sphere and loved the peace so very much. She’d heard of crimes, and then saw a few occur. People were injured. She hated the noise of it all, and decided to do something about it. Twenty five years ago, she was a lowly security subordinate, taking orders from her supervisor, a tall and wisened vixen. Together, they watched the streets through cameras and protected the city from their little office. Since then, she became promoted many times, surpassing the old fox to become the Head of Security on The Capital Sphere. In that time, her old supervisor retired, and slowed down, becoming very old and very quiet. Kateri takes care of her, and actually moved the old vixen into her house about five years ago.
Appearance: Sensible, often in a suit, and rarely seen in anything particularly bright. Blonde hair and a face with a heritage of a Filipino father and an eastern European mother.
Name: Howl

Species: Wolf
Location: The dimension of light
Occupation: Dimensional Diplomat
Weaponry: None
Biography: Old war veteran who became a civilian but never stopped being a soldier. He joined up with Asia to make the galaxy better. He never got to see the plan come to fruition as Afgha Kali killed him. Twenty five years past in a fraction of a moment, and he found himself staring at Seeker, a strange alien who prophecised in riddles. There she informed of where he was, and showed him what the situation was and had always been. He realised his position in all this. He had to warn the people of the real dimension that the everflame would indirectly bring about destruction.
Appearance: His fur is a mixture of unique colours that form into a greyish tone. He wears a black suit with a white undershirt and red tie. Black pants and shoes. All these different colours seem to drift off his body, like aetheric tendrils rising into the air.
Name: Seeker
Age: N/A
Species: Feshanoq
Location: Dimension of Light
Occupation: Dimensional Diplomat
Weaponry: None
Biography: A native creature of the planet known as G7 or Raven’s Nest. She and her Gathen companion (it’s a six legged tiger creature). Her species, or what was left of it, had a connection to other dimensions. They could hear whispers, particularly when some inter-dimensional event was about to occur. When Korius killed her, she jumped the dimensions and found herself surrounded in the light. She communicated a lot easier than Howl ever could, and figured out the situation, while fighting the corner for the real dimension, making sure that the beings in this dimension allowed for a diplomatic solution before any force was employed.
Appearance: Humanoid, yet to many eyes, seemingly ephemeral. Her body is like that of a blue flame, flickering and dancing in the air, burning with colour, bright and glowing, almost blinding in its vibrancy. Antennae sprout from her head and neck, reaching out like fingers with feelers on the end. Her face is nothing but rich dark eyes and a wide smile, while her hair bursts back from her head, and continues growing out of her neck, along her back and down to form her tail.

Name: Chronin Epheral
Age: 35
Species: Black dragon
Location: Capital Sphere
Occupation: 'Elite' security on Captial Sphere
Weaponry: well-maintained and used plasma rifle; "port-a-bomb" glove(creates sphere-shaped explosives, bigger explosion takes a proportional amount of time realtive to size increase), and a stun baton
Bio: Chronin vividly remembered what happened during the hours after Everflame was taken, especially seeing his father die by the hands of panicking security guards. He took his father's invention and the designs, moving all over until running into Kateri and the vixen that had him stay under her custody. He kept his father's invention a secret until at age 25, when Kateri looked through his belongings in a moment of curiosity. She was going to tell her superior, but Chronin didn't want to lose his only memior of his father, and was instead 'conscripted' into the security force, his only given weapon a brand new plasma rifle. Now, it still has a 'glow' of reliability but has stains and scuffs from years of use. He has his own home, but routinely comes to help Kateri with the retired vixen.
Appearance: Wears an armored set of trenchcoat, pants, and another armored vest underneath the trenchcoat. His face resembles that of a real killer, but that changes when he addresses Kateri, looking borderline immature. His crimson hair reflects his bipolar-like personality as it 'spikes' out when he feels threatened, but deflates when happy or really calm.

I wanted to bring back my character from the orginal Everflame, but the two cons were: The idea was shot down as overpowered; He would be in his late fifties or early sixties, which basically kills any chance of self-reliance since he would still be 'evil-crazy'

yeah the old one was totally overpowered. I like this new, more ordinary one.

Name: Annie Yantova
Age: 43
Species: Fox
Location: The Admiration (Now outfitted as an Explorator-Mechanicus voyager ship)
Occupation: Explorator-Mechanicus, Ex Colonial Marine and fugitive.
Weaponry: Flashlight, two energy-pistols and console-slicing equipment.
Biography: 25 years have passed since the daring rescue from the colonial carrier. During those years the few marines who remained travelled much of the stellar routes in the admiration, living a life away from laws. Over the years other marines have left, and died... including Kitt...
Now at the age of 43, Annie is living her life as an Explorator-Mechanicus, scouting out new stellar routes, scavenging from ship wreckage and then selling whatever she finds... Explorator-Mechanicus are well known, no matter which planet you travel to, and Annie's numerous barters and trades take her to the sphere on a very regular basis, for there she can sell her findings at higher prices than on outer-rim planets.
Appearance: Thick russet fur, tufted ears and thick bushy tail. White muzzle, wears mismatched uniform consisting of red Mechanicus carapace plates, marine fatigues and various other items.
Name: Blaze Yantova
Age: 18
Species: Feline Fox, Mixed species
Location: The Admiration
Occupation: None technically, he helps his mother when on exploratory missions.
Weaponry: Flashlight, compact energy-pistol and console slicing equipment.
Biography: Blaze was Kitt and Annie’s only child. He was only five when Kitt died, killed during an exploratory mission, during which the Admiration was ambushed by Dalorian Scavengers. The once-captain of the Admiration consoled Annie, and ever since she has brought up her son on her own. She says he looks like his father and this in some ways true, for he looks more feline than vulpine... Now aged eighteen, Blaze continues to help his mother in her work, aspiring to one day become a colonial marine like Kitt has been.
Appearance: Thick tan fur, tufted ears and thick bushy tail. White muzzle, wears mismatched uniform consisting of red Mechanicus carapace plates, marine fatigues and various other items. Looks more like Kitt did mixed with Annie’s more vixen-y traits.
okay Asia... i had a few ideas buzzing around... and decided i might go with this one... how does it sound?
And yes, i killed off Kitt... and i hope the profession description makes sense... Explorator-Mechanicus was a random idea i had (basically, scouts who go around, searching wreckage and stuff for valuable technology and selling it)...

Name: Kitt Beesley
Age: 21
Species: Red Fox
Location: Kitt is currently hunting through the thick forest of his home world, a planetoid marked d-37 called Luscious by the inhabitants for all of the vegetation.
Occupation: Farmer. Although he is very dissatisfied with the lifestyle.
Weaponry: A hunting rifle 30 ought 6 and a Bo Staff trained to fight with it by his father.
Biography: Kitt's father is a retired military official so Kitt was raised listening to his fathers stories from the events that transpired in the first game. At the age of twelve Kitt's father decided to teach him to wield a Bo Staff, partly to controll his temper, partly to help him deal with bullies. Now nine years later he is rarely seen without it. His greatest desire is to join the military and become a fighter pilot, however nither of his parents will lend him the money to get to a recruiting station on one of the central planets so Kitt has been hunting through the forest waiting for a military patrol of the planet so he could hitch a ride to the inner planets and hopefully to a life with more excitement than he had now.
Appearance: Dresses in whatever is most comfortable at the time. Has shoulder length hair and two black hooks on his muzzle is carrying a Bo Staff and hunting rifle.

Name: Nero
Age: N/A
Species: ????
Location: Dimension of Light
Occupation: (Should make sense according to the location, but doesnt have to.)
Weaponry: None
Biography: Nero has been shunned by his "kin" his entire life. While the other beings were made from light, or what is percieved as light, his creation was in stark contrast. Born from a black hole, he was immediately recognized as dangerous to the beings that inhabited the dimension of light. His presence alone caused the beings to doubt their immortality, feeling that even their power may be drawn into his void. These were all rumors however...created and spread through unconfirmed fears. No one knows exactly what Nero is or what he can do...all anyone knows is that he cares little for his kind and even less for the creatures of the real dimension. In his mind, the creatures of the real dimension stole the Everflame and deserve to be punished for their actions.
Appearance:
Real-Dimension- Takes the form of an incredibly disfigured hyena. He is missing his right eye and much of his fur seems to be falling out from disease. The missing eye's socket just stands empty...a black pit seeming to go on forever. Many of his teeth are missing and seemed to have rotted out of his own head. His left arm is crippled and withered...useless. He walks hunched over, like an old man, but his stride feels betrays an air similar to that of a nobleman's. He keeps himself wrapped in gray and black rags to hide his visage.
Strange-Dimension- His form is that of a colossal (you could fit Jupiter up his nose), featureless (so much for the nose comment), humanoid...seemingly made up of the blackness of space dotted with stars, planets, and galaxies. In place of his right eye swirls a black hole. Black, vein-like structures branch out from his form and snatch up anything that passes him by, and feed him the captured object.

Alrighty then, lots of people here. The RP will probably start first thing monday... or maybe late sunday. We'll see.
Right, starting from the top, Kitt number 1: who I shall just call Santa Claws...
You killed Kitt! aww I'm actually upset abotu that... so good job on that. it was the right decision. I like the idea of their only child. As for the occupation, it's probably almost as old as ventriloquism. Explorator Mechanicus is probably the longest name it's ever had, but probably also the nicest, compared to: Scavenger, Vulture, Stalker, Rat, Bone-pickers, scum... yeah society isn't kind to these people. But as you point out, there's always someone to buy this stuff, and if you do it right you can get a hefty sum. Though most who try it don't live too well and have to supplement it with courier jobs and the like.
But yeah, I like it, it's all good.
Kitt number 2!: who I shall just call Beesley
I wonder what would happen if this Kitt ended up meeting Annie and Blaze... that would be rather interesting.
But yeah, i like your idea, and his innocent naivety. That kind of stuff is bread and butter and for good reason. It works.
I like your character too.
Entaru!: Who I shall just call Entaru
I like his story and his physical appearance in the normal dimension. I never thought he would be humanoid in the strange dimension and that intrigues me. I like the image, it's very evocative.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this as well. In the mean time however, I am going to go read over the first one so I have a clearer understanding of the system and other characters. Seeing as how mine has grown up hearing the stories about them.

That's quite a task, Beesley. I don't envy you and the mountain of posts ahead of you, but I do hope you enjoy it. i enjoyed writing my part in it.

Whew im up to page six now. Damn it's a long read however seeing as how we are supposed to be starting the rp today I'll have to keep reading as we play. What is the range for the Triffids by the way?

The triffids have a stinger inside their 'flower' type head... It has a range from around 3 metres, to 10 metres maximum... obviously the further away you are the less chance it will hit you... They also have very powerful roots, with which they both move and pull down their prey...
Also they spread very fast, and adapt even faster... methinks by this time Triffids might not be limited to just the planet of Serra Draconis ;)
And yay, we might be starting the RP today :P

Also Asia... I'm guessing the reason why Annie didnt see the freight carrier ship, was because it was behind the wreck with its engines off right? So obviously it wouldnt have appeared on scanners or anything, which is why she and Blaze didnt realise anyone was aboard at the time...

asia please don't put Kitt to far out for his most recent of rash actions he will grow to temper them as the story progreses. he may be smart and good at getting info, but with his lack of experiance and short fuse he has a tendancy to act rashly as you will witness in the mt (main thread) don't worry too much military life will staighten him out but then again a life on the run might as well lets see where this goes shall we? :D

Name: Victor Redstar (Mr. Crow)
Age: 37
Species: Arctic Wolf
Location: Thermonuclear fusion reactor plant, Sierra Keld
Occupation: Field Agent for the sphere
Weaponry: Compact plasma Rifle, A combat knife and various biotechnic implants which give him enhanced strength and durability.
Biography: With a well off family, education going smoothly, and a job set up for him when he left education, life seemed to be going good for Victor. Once Victor finished his studies with good grades in all areas, he began to work with his father in his dad's terraforming business, helping to ship cargo and seal contracts with off world developers. One day however there was a cataclysmic failure in one of the cargo loaders where the hydraulics failed and left Victor with a crushed left arm and
two pulverized legs.
His father, unable to cope with his only son becoming a cripple, spent a lot of his fortune on biotechnic implants for his son and even more on rehabilitation sessions. The years of implants and rehabilitation left his father virtually penniless, though his son could finally walk and use his body again. However there was an unexpected side affect of the implants, Victor suffers from migraines and moderate joint pain at random intervals. He applied to become a field agent in conjunction with the Sphere security force, and due to his fathers contacts, was allowed to get the job, partly so he could explore the galaxy a bit more, and so he could help support his family.
Appearance: Neatly trimmed snow white fur covers his body, with an electric blue streak in his thick tail. Over the top of this fur, he wears a thin white shirt with a black and cream waistcoat. On top of this he wears a charcoal grey overcoat and black suit pants. Black loafers covering his feet. Scars cover his naked body though, from the countless operations that were performed on his body. His hair is white, going back into a form of mane, with light blue tips coming forward.

Are you kidding me? If you did anything close to that in the real world, you would be lucky to be shot on sight. what would be the more likely scenario and the more unfortunate, is to be arrested, suffer a rendition programme where you would suffer every form of torture, and then maybe, just maybe, after turning your body and mind to mush, they would execute you.
There was an autistic guy who hacked into the pentagon and NASA to search for evidence of aliens. He is being extradited to America to be tried and probably convicted, and will spend the rest of his life in a maximum security prison. What he did is nothing compared to what your character has just done. If this wasn't an RP, there would be no reason why your character would survive the next paragraph, especially since he was explicitly warned not to go near that craft.
Now I have a few ideas of where this can go, but there is pretty much no chance of a military life (or at least, the kind of military life you're expecting) and no chance of him being able to go on the run any time soon (he walked into a high profile military ship and comitted a ridiculously huge crime in plain sight, and announced to everyone what he was doing. He might as well have walked in with the chains already on him.) The problem is that this will require a bit of time to figure out so i might not be able to get this down today. Probably tomorrow, but then some people are coming over, so we'll see if I can post at all. I'll do my best.... actually...
I've got a great idea... well technically it's not my idea, I'm lifting it straight from one of my favourite books, but it's just brilliant.... you'll see :D

Oh also.... Annie and Blaze's ship.... I suppose i might as well add that as a separate 'character' sheet... exactly how much it will get used i dont know (depending on how the rather sticky situation going on inside the wreck turns out) but still, i wanna write it up :P

The Explorator Class Mechanicus Freighter is designed for long-haul salvage and exploration missions. With a spacious cargo hold, powerfull engines and reasonble defence systems it is a rugged ship employed in large numbers by Explorator Mecahnicus. It has a maximum crew capacity of six.
The Explorator Freighter owned by Annie is a heavily re-vamped version of the classic design. Sporting a heavier armament, as well as magnetic clamps that allow it to dock with any large enough object with ease. Many systems have been replaced or changed, to allow it to be piloted by just two people. THis kind of modification is not only normal among Explorator Mechanicus, but very much encouraged. Meaning no two Freighters will be the same.

I had KOTOR2, but I ended up breaking the save file after re-playing the same scene for a third time, which annoyed me to no end since it was after I killed ALL of the jedi masters... and my last 'other' save was way before that happened.

How: I was playing alien storm, and then there was a flash of light and a smell of smoke. The computer stopped working after that.
As for Tabby... in terms of the main story arc, she has absolutely nothing to do with it and really never has, but there are two reasons why you're more than welcome to go full on with this tangent.
1: you never know what may come of your actions here. Everything affects everything in this universe. Even some stuff that seemed completely dull or absurd when it first got written has ended up having some impact later on.
2: The beauty of my RPs, or at least the everflame series, is that every player's journey can be interesting, and I will put an equal amount of effort into all of them to make them work as stories in their own right, even when it's got nothing to do with the main tale. In the previous Everflame, Kitt's story ended up probably being as long, complex and exciting as the main plot, and yet really didn't have much to do with anything. It was its own contained story existing in the same space as the Everflame story.
So you can throw yourself into this business with Tabby and Squad D if you want, or you can cut it short. No matter what you do, I'll try to make it as fun as I can... and you never know. What you do here may just save the galaxy. I have no idea how it will all end because I haven't planned any of it. I know what will happen up to a certain point, but after that it could still go in a million different ways.

After being attacked several times under a number of occasions he joined a training session for the security.
Appearance: Tall grey and black feline with messy white hair and green eyes, his tail only falls to his knees and he also has digigraded feet. When hes doing his job at the Capital Sphere he wears the useal attire they assigned for scientist, other than that he normaly wears a green hooded vest and and black pants with no shoes and glasses. His pistol is straped to his belt wich is hidden underneath the vest.

Biology: Yu-Razul was born on a Freighter and was forced to live on the 'road'. His father was a starship pilot while his mother was an engineer. When he was young the Frighter his family was aboard was attacked by Pirates, they killed his parents and he was sold into slavery. At the age of Eight he ended up on Excravia to do manual labor, while here he was discovered by the Planets Sheriff, Alverhi, a Panther. the Sheriff 'purchased' the boy from the slavers and taught him the way of this backwater planet. He quickly became proficient in the use of Rifles and Pistols. After Alverhi's daeth Yu-Razul took up a job as a local law enforcer and killed any who broke the law. Included were many slavers, of course he was never proven guilty for doing so.
Appearance: Yu-Razul is short for a Dragon standin 6'1", he has a muscular build and wears a trenchcoat and a cowboy style hat. His clothing is a brown, almost the color of the planets desert sand. The only things that make him stand out is his gleaming silver scales and his dragon wings.

Biography: She had left the dimension of light about 37 years ago (Captial Time) to retrieve Everflame since she was the first to notice it was gone, and had traced it to a structure called "Capital Sphere". She was able to vanish from her dimension and reappear in an alleyway near the Everflame's location, but her abilities would be hampered when carrying the Everflame since the emotions it gave off dulled her focus greatly. She quickly got some clothes on to hide her unusual traits and tried to find a way to safely get to the Everflame's location without causing alarm. She found her hopes in a dragon who was the head of SDD (Safe Demolition Division), and luckily single (for her). In only a few months she was friendly enough with the dragon to have a chance of visiting him during work hours. However, when she went there in hopes of getting the dragon to break down more barriers, she actually started to gain a non-professional interest when she saw that most of the projects he did were on his own as the SDD was of little importance since there was no important need for explosives on the Capital Sphere.
Her interest in the dragon soon dominated her priorities, and she all but forgot the Everflame when he proposed to her. Next month she was amazed that they were actually compatible as she realized there was a life forming in her womb and was actually looking forward to having a family with the dragon. But, ten years after concieving her child, her close associates of the dimension had felt she lost sight of her real purpose and ordered her to return before they would infiltrate her location and take her back by force for fear of being 'discovered'. After a night of almost non-stop crying and frustration, she finally said good-bye to her husband and child, hiding her ring so he wouldn't be hunted for having her give birth to a half-breed.
She has returned again, but it is now official buisness: if the diplomats failed to peacefully get Everflame back, she would have to 'steal' it to prevent a possible dimensional war. But she also wants to know what became of her family she had to leave behind, and hopefully take her child 'home'.
Appearance: Vuranin is an odd mix of voluptous and athletic, and has a purple-black maiasmic aura that seeps from around her feet and rises up like smoke. Her hair is akin to a crimson-orange flame that drapes around her shoulders. However, when she goes into 'disguise', she looks very close to a normal black dragoness.

Nero is in the middle of the street surrounded by officers, engineers, scientists and officials (I suggest you go here. Some cool little plotlines could erupt from that depending on how much you do there.
Kateri is in her office where your character is very unlikely to go just yet.
Now Chrono, generally I can accept your new character though you got a few minor interpretations wrong.

The 'diplomats' are Seeker and Howl. They're barely part of the extra dimensional community and have little to no power. That said, the dimension of light isn't particularly heirarchical. It's more like a club or a school class without a teacher. You have your little groups of friends and your internal politics, but there's no definitive structure, only a set of personalities. They wont act with force to bring her back simply because she's been hidden so well so far. Going in and taking her by force defeats the purpose because the impact of their arrival would be far worse than the impact of her secretive arrival. They want the everflame because it has had a definite and active impact, changing people's psychology, and making interdimensional rifts larger and more frequent because of the energy it gives off.
But other than that she can go in the story.

Biology: Teresa was born on the Mechanicus planet X-39 of the Serra System. Both her mother and father where killed mere months after she was born, and so she was taken into the Mechanicus corporation as an orphan. Since then she has trained to be an Engineer, reaching the very respectable Second Class designation of her work field.
Now at the age of 19, Teresa (or Tess as better known to her close friends) works aboard the Carrier Mechanus Maximus, servicing and refitting Mechanicus ships. She and Blaze have been very close friends since the age of five, and Tess is almost always the one who repairs Blaze's Mag-Bike after its numerous crashes. She is also normally responsible for refits on Annie’s ship.
Appearance: Rather short and curvy. Russet coloured fur with bleached blonde hair, the tips of her bangs are dyed in normally vivid colours, currently neon green. She wears the same style of dark red fatigues as Annie and Blaze, though over the top she wears a fluorescent orange workers jacket. She normally also has a pair of welding goggles around her neck, as well as a large utility belt filled with pockets pouches and tools.
Name: RUST-E
Class: Originally a MarkII Explorator Mechanicus Droid, RUST-E is now so heavily modified, refitted and reprogrammed that his original Droid class is barely recognisable.
Location: Always the same as Tess
Weaponry: RUST-E has a single weapon port, which is universal and able to fit a large variety of pistol sized weapons. It is rarely ever used, as an engineer, Tess does not have access to Mechanicus weaponry.
Biology: RUST-E started out as a pet project of Tess’. Originally designated as scrap and to be disassembled for parts, she smuggled him back to her bunk and started to try and repair the burnt out droid. Exactly how she managed to get him there without being spotted, or how she fixed the bucket of bolts, within months he was fully operational. Mechanicus officials allowed her to keep the droid, and indeed her obvious technical abilities in rebuilding RUST-E where one of the reasons for her promotion to Second Class Engineer. RUST-E is loyal to the extreme, and due to having never had a memory wipe, has developed a quirky personality rarely seen in Droids.

It's nothing big. Just that Triffids have infested some of the planets, including those with a previously uninhabitable atmosphere. They reproduce quickly, perform rapid terraforming on dead planets and evolve and adapt faster than almost anything else. However, after about 30 years of dealing with these plants, the military are more than prepared to send in special squads that deal with these creatures, and if the planet does not have any indigenous species, they have a gas that kills them all as well.

Her species and story is going to be as weird as hell but I hope she's okay. If you want, I can make a char out of her owner, too, so he isn't so NPC and so her backstory has more clarity and detail. Also, if you need more details in general I will supply. I was just sort of rushed to make this.
Name: Chassity Adment
Age: 17
Species: Doll
Location: Joe, her owner's, private ship.
Occupation: Slave
Weaponry: None.
Biography: Chassity knows little about the universe or the planets she is always dragged to. All she does know is that she was created as a slave to her master, Joe, who carved her into living form out of non-living wood using a mixture of chemicals and technology that would make her head explode to even try and comprehend. She is a doll. Her job is to serve. That's it. Her life is not as abusive as that of most slaves, but she often feels lonely, for the months that pass between her owner's stops at planets are long and boring. She would do anything for a little excitement.
Appearance: See avvie. She is roughly carved from some sort of dark wood, with blond-ish hair sewn to her 'scalp.' She often wears nothing, because she is majorly featureless, and has a flower in her hair. She stands the height of a normal teen girl.

I know her power seems overkill, but it has one drawback when she uses it.
If there is a door or physical object blocking her path to the room, it is impossible for her to touch it.
Even if the door is just a drape of beads, she cannot pass through unless someone lets her through.
The only way she can get into her own apartment is if she teleports to the stairs, instead of inside the apartment.
Anyway, as a result of trying to warp to Nero: She is effectively stuck in a building that she has no prior knowledge of and no idea of what happened to Nero.

Oh gawd, I am so sorry Asia. I'm not even going to attempt to apologize anymore I'm so sorry. That would be called kissing up. Thank you for being understanding however, as I have epically failed to meet my promise. Luckily for the both of us, however, I rather like the post I have so far. It is several pages long, which is something and certainly more than one usually writes for an RP.

Part of the problem is that school hates me. I'm getting straight A's for the first time ever but that's because I work on homework from the moment I get home until an hour until bedtime. During that hour, I like to do something besides write (it's a wonder I don't have carpal tunnel.) Plus I have two webcomics, a novel, my RPs, art comissions, a job painting my father's barn, and extra credit essays. My MS Word is always open and my computer always on. Also, one of my favorite night time activities is called sleep, and I barely get enough of that as it is. No small wonder that I always feel sick and my throat sore when I fall asleep at 12 and get up at 4.
Again, I seriously apologize and have made arrangements to get in my post over the weekend.

Seriously though, I think the third one will be hard to do. The ideas that I have for it take things to a complex level. It would be hard for some players to understand what's going on. I need to work on that... but hey, it probably wont come about until summer next year, depending on when this one ends, which won't be any time soon, but we are getting into some big second act stuff very soon.

Ah flippin' heck... you know this is just like... a wall of tasks. I know what i need to write, but there's something big happening soon and i need to get it right. It needs to feel the way I want it to feel.
Also, the ending to Everflame 2 has been planned out. It's pretty awesome, and the galaxy will never be the same again.

Well, it's Asia, the leader of one of the biggest crimes in modern times, so he probably knows the name, due to the nature of his job. Whether he knows his face, I don't think so since the government ordered that no arrest attempts be made against Asia, so photos would have stopped being circulated soon after the end of the previous everflame RP, and at that time, Chronin was ten years old.

Biography: She was born on a ice planet that was called Fechina. She became a Marine at the age of Twenty-two and made her ways up the ranks to captain. Though her name is a males name, people tend not to make fun of it with fear of her reaction. She found a Desert Egal in an old weapon shop, surprised that velocity weapons were still being made though very rare. After buying it she kept it and used it spareingly after learning that most equipment are designed for the "Standard" weapons of today. Upon entering a evac to escape the planet, her ship was knocked completely off course in the hyperjump and slamed into a planet nearly killing everyone on the ship. She left surpriseingly unharmed along with six others and two more that were hurt.
Appearance: She is a five foot, four White Tiger with short white head hair. She has a blue to teal gradation colored eyes. She is well toned and has a long tail that comes down to her ankles. She wears the standard issued armor given to the marines witch consist of a u shaped helmet with rectangular bars running down the middle and a eye piece that covers the right eye, a meteal breastplate and many plates that runs down her spine. Along that there would be plates that protects her kidneys and many smaller plates forming the shape of her abdomen for her stomach. There are smaller plates protecting the side of her thighs and a kneecap followed with shingaurds and boots with stealth rubber.

To be honest, your ideas and your characters would fit a heck of a lot better in the next Everflame RP so I think you should wait until then. That might take a while, maybe even half a year but it's your choice. If you want, I can fit you in now, but it would be better to wait in my opinion.

Actually the end of this one will change things so much that you can't really consider this one and the next one to be part of the same collection. Same universe but totally different setting. I'm still figuring out the mechanics of it all, but I came up with the idea back when I was deciding the ending to this RP.

People didn't know that this other dimension existed, so you can't make a serum for that.
And it can't be the core of the everflame because that would break the story I've planned.

it's a planetoid that has a science facility on it, and a lot of triffids on the ground (walking carnivorous plants). This is where the everflame was placed to spread its energy across the galaxy. Nobody evacuated to it, though there is a science team on site, as well as a ton of security.

Some logic used. Gravity can be displaced and redirected by an object's motion. Light at the speed of light is unable to escape a black-hole but an object of five pounds ore more at the same speed can. Gravity on its own can not crush an object at it's center inside a vacuum. Possibly outsmarted a demon and ticked it off to high heaven <___< I am expecting a similar fate as the ferret's.
The missile was just a geek move from some inspiration, its sometimes faulty sometimes successful... it is designed to explode like a supernova only with a controlled blast radius. 400 points to who guess the reference. Any who... the missile was only being used to destroy the ship, but it can destroy the planet and the station if it does explode.

Here is what I gathered before your post.
"So... worst case scenario... we die a much more quicker death... best case scenario we blast into freedom" he sighed as he grabbed hold of the lever and jammed it forward, and almost immediately the engines could be heard blaring even louder as the emission from outside of the ship grew gradually stronger.
If the ship is no longer in Nero's grasp then either of these three is possible:
- Tangletail failed to safely engage hyperspace, becoming tiny little space particles splattered across the universe
- He is so freaking far away, his actions will have little to no impact on the main story.
- Asia miscalculated and Tangletail is still playing a part in the story.

This could be the worst decision I've made, but I'd be nothing if not a risk taker. This is the climax, the end game.
To explain what happened, the dimension of light was imploding in on itself, and most of it became the beast that Nero absorbed. The eventually fell completely into nothingness, which is what Vuranin opened a gate into. This dimensional collapse spilled out into the real dimension, like a burst of energy, exploding and pulling every piece of light dimension stuff with it. I'm clearly not basing this on any scientific principles, its just my imagination being a bit crazy.
I know people don't like to kill off their characters, but only one or two characters can carry on to the next RP, and those have already been decided. Anyone who hasn't had a message from me, well you can't bring your characters over. They end here. It's your choice whether they die or not. It doesn't matter either way, so message me if you want your person to die in the most awesome way possible or if you want them to live.
But if they live, you need to explain how.
Inter-dimensionals die by the force pulling them apart. Regular people die by Triffids unless they get somewhere super safe like Tina's base, which was designed against this.
Oh yeah and this is a perfect time to bring characters that had been left by the wayside to show what happens to them in this apocalyptic scenario.

I think putting Chronin as an experiment will keep him alive, as other circumstances seem far less likely and logical.

But then again, both me and Asia were trying to tie together the ends of around six or seven characters in this last part.
Kinda funny actually... This happened last time when it ended with just me and Asia finishing Everflame part 1 in the very last part .
I got an idea that will hopefully wrap things up nice and quickly, will talk to Asia about it via PM to see if he's happy with it :)

I timed this badly, I didn't expect everyone elses aftermath to be done in one post. And I always underestimate how long certain scenes were going to take, though I did know that this would probably take the longest. There are just logistical and logical things that need to make sense and don't just yet.

I thought i had replied to the latest post, then i remembered i had to turn the computer off, so i copied what i wrote, closed firefox, opened notepad, and found that the computer had not in fact copied it.
It was rather good as well....
Anyway I'm gonna be visiting my sister for the remainder of the week. Talk amongst yourselves... or at least Kitt talk to yourself.
