I don't know how you're going to be able to deal with the massive number of people down there. Ft. Collins is pretty tame compared to Denver, but sometimes I find myself saying "I need to get away from all you people!" x_x

I just quickly read through it. With a little polish, you could probably get that published somewhere.

The whole thing is very staccatto, most of your paragraphs consist of only two or three sentences. This is good for building up suspense, i.e. when a character is being hunted by a monster, or a similar situation (like when we first see the protagonist experience the voice).
However, this also takes a lot away from the descriptive potential your story offers. For example, you have a good start on describing Vic, but the sleazy feel of the character would be greatly improved with more description, possibly an anecdote which would summarize his nature. Doing this latter would give the audience a "i've met someone like that before" feeling, which makes the story more real. You should do this for the other characters as well.
As for describing the setting, you also have a good start on this, but if you really want to personify a place (like the mansion itself) you should give it its own backstory. For example, when talking about the mansion at the end of your first entry, you could make mention again of the suicides which took place in the older generations of the family. The association of the house with these macabre deaths would enhance its creepy feeling.

Ah yes, the dorms, where your neighbors scream at their games all night and strange bearded men blast porn in the bathroom. They're an alright place to live, and they do a pretty decent job of matching up roommates. However, if I had to live in them for another semester, I'd go crazy.

At least you guys have cars, I'm not even aloud to own one until next year, and even then the car that I had waiting at home got wrapped around a telephone pole during my second week of basic.

[removed] the family visitors center here in the springs with my kids and see if they kick us out of the kiddie play area. They have a really cool inside play area like a childrens museum with all kinds of different activity rooms. nice for when the weather is bad

I classify it as a normal complexes, so the prices range around heres.

I'm in and out of the place at odd and sporadic times, so, if you actually find me, thats kind of a rarity.

Two things:
1) You saying that you're "offended" that I dress the part but don't cut or am not always depressed, is offensive. Why? Because, when you say that, you are making our unique community look even worse. There are tons of you little "cutters" who are mainly attention whores that can't deal with life.
I am a person who deals with depression and anxiety most days, but do you see me complaining and being offended that all these other Emo kids are running around and not cutting or being depressed? No, do you see me being pissed off that Scene kids are trying to act Emo but really aren't? No, and why do I do that...because everyone has their own style, I have adopted the Emo subculture just like you have. You can not be offended at my "not always being depressed" because you are not the one who created the subculture, you are just a follower, like everyone else.
2) Shut up and deal with it.

Explain to me how I'm being "rude and offensive" because, I'm a little lost. All I did was simply tell the truth that just because one dresses emo and has an emo attitude, but doesn't cut and isn't depressed, isn't any way, shape or form - offensive. What I'm lost about is the fact that I DID tell the truth and now I'm being "rude and offensive". If you can't "handle the truth", please stay off the internet.

Hi everyone! Born and raised here in the best state EVER. Just wanted to swing by and see if anyone is a late night person, seeing as I usually work nights at my hotel. Was also looking through all the posts, and I have to say this just because ... well, I'm me.

Life sucks, but it's not so bad that it's worth hurting yourselves. And if you're a recovered, good for you! Super proud of you! I've been there many many years ago, so I know what you went through. Born in Parker, but I live in centennial. Down near lone tree and park meadows mall. I go through monument all the time on my way to the springs when I visit my mom! I don't envy you guys the poor weather but I was looking at buying a house out there.

I wouldn't be opposed to it! I don't see why not. Like I said, I drive through monument all the time. It's not too bad at all, and I always love meeting new people and doing things because I can. Most of the things I do is because I can! Lol. I can pick a good poorly lit back alley with a homeless guy coughing up a lung somewhere. Or you can find one out there! :P

Technically there are a few High Schools right near where I live. I assume you mean the more famous one that the kid brought a gun to class at, Arapahoe High School (Which is where I went to school. Scary, that place bringing someone to shoot it up). And it does have a pool - a rather large one. If I remember right, it's an olympic pool. But yes, once you're travel worthy. I get wanting to just take a breather, all too well. XD

Oh dang..... yeah it was that one, they had to put a 'wall' in the pool to make it the right size. I haven't swam there for about 6 years, but yah, I didn't think it was the Arapahoe one. That really sucks :( And it must be scary, the same place you went to having something like that happen.

I actually just found out tonight I'm getting promoted to Supervisor here, so that's awesome. But the Hampton Inn and Suites on Lincoln and I-25. I'm a wolf, I'm okay with stalking - everyone can come stalk me now. lol :3

Hopefully you don't have to deal with too many whacko's :P I'm just working as a lifeguard, but next year I'll be able to work overnight stocking at King Soopers.... so I'm going to do that, hopefully along Lifeguarding. And both places are a mile away from my house, so that's nice.

I'm about to head home, just clocking out of work, but I'll message you more when I get there. I like having someone that actually talks - I'm extremely chatty. You can't shut me up most times. I've actually had a district manager come in and talk to the store manager. Me, being assistant manager, I was left up front to man the desk. So I started talking to myself, and the district manager asked "Is he talking to you?" My manager was like "No, he's ... well, he's talking to himself. Don't worry about him, he does it all the time. He'll keep himself entertained."

Anyone going to the Pearl Street Mall meetup on the 30th of April? It's at the 10th and Walnut parking garage, probably on floor G1, the one with the orange Canyon BLVD elevator. I'll be wearing my bat fursuit to it :)
