Title: Some of V'ver's art.
Post by: Vver on November 25, 2009, 03:56:47 AM
:3 I figured I'd post some stuff on here since other people do too, and hopefully get some comments or constructive criticism.

nice drawing style, and that first one is so very busy and full and rich. I like it.

:3 Oh, I do! All the time. I have a completely different sketchbook just for figure drawing, but they're all really light sketches, so I can't post those.

Ah this is great! I particuarly like the first set. ^^"
If that's you in the first picture, with green hair, you have unquestionable taste. =3

<x'D I WISH I could dye my hair green. Heck, I wish I could dye it at all.

Emerald green would suit you, but yeah you'd have to get some matching neon east style clothing. =P

xD No problem getting those, I'd just borrow them from my friends.

Maybe I'll ask my mom, though she'll probably say no unless I could find a completely organic hair dye with no potentially harmful chemicals, etc. ;_;

It's okay using harmful chemicals on your hair, that's the whole point of it growing! You damage it, it grows, you cut the damaged hair off! Woop! Or just shave it all off in my case. XD

xD No! I like my hair too much to shave it. :I Though I need a trim. I can barely see my eyes when I look in the mirror some days.

That's really good! Cute, downside is it looks a little like a hand puppet to me due to how slim you've done the body further down I guess. XD
I've got a really unsteady hand and low tolerance so I can't do much with drawing on computer, even with a tablet I'm afraid to admit. D=
Just gotta stick to me pencil I guess. =D

xP Traditional mediums are where it's AT. I wanna learn to use art programs though. Besides being able to surf the web and check my e-mail, I'm pretty dang computer illetrate. xD And thanks for the crit. I'll remember that for next time. Haha, or maybe I'll just move the border up 'cause I'm lazy.

I saw this really pretty guy at walmart the other day and I tried drawing him from memory. :/ No pencils so I had to use pen.

Just awesome!

I love that kind of use of the rough scratchy style. the way the monster kind of grows out of the background and how his face is totally disproportioned and loose. More of that please :) I dont tend to have much to say about your more normal stuff  0:)

That... wins. Seriously, it's awesome, like some kind of weird star wars alien.

xD Me and Loni were having this really funny conversation about how we would become big and famous, and I said I would change my name to CANDY and become an adult film star, and then once I became famous underground, I'll write a book and sign a deal for my own TV show.
Oh and, dungarees need outlines. Having outlines on the body but not the clothes make it look like that's not clothes... but paint.

Good drawing skill though.
