Hey there! welcome to the revival of the Aliens RP!
(Okay, so I felt like doing an Aliens Rp because I liked the movies but wanted to see what it would be like furry style, post here with character sheets and sample posts and I'll decide whether you're in or not)
This is a warning, I might turn this into a story once it is finished so do not join if you do not want to be mentioned. Oh and I will be portraying Xenomorphs as semi-intelligent beings able to communicate with each other, using a hive-mind stlyle off communicating I realise this is not in keeping with the movies but meh.
Rules (has to be done)
1. I will Role play the aliens as well as my own character, however if you feel you can do a better job of Rping as the aliens, or want to play as an individual Xenomorph, then send me a PM or ask in the OOC and we can work something out.
2. Try to keep OOC chatter in this OOC Topic
3. I will try to be fair but I know that I can be biased so if you disagree with what I have said or done, send me a PM or say on the OOC board and we'll sort it out.
4.Try not to post one-liners please, keep it to 2+ lines, but If you really cant add anymore, then post what you have written. I will be lenient as I am guilty of one liners myself however.

(This Rp is set around the time of Aliens)
The year is 2179, and you are a colonist on planet LV-426, a
planet with harsh outside conditions and an unstable atmosphere. The atmosphere processors keep the air breathable, but the weather patterns disencourage long expeditions outside. The colony itself spans 37 square miles, this includes:
Living quarters
A Power grid Complex
A Control Complex
A Entertainment Complex
A Detention Area
A Educational Complex
A Recreational Complex
A Security complex
A Government Complex
A Healthcare Complex
An Industrial Complex
A Retail Complex
An Import And Export Complex
and a surrounding wall.
(there are canteens in all areas and all complexes are connected via corridors. Except from the detention area, This is a separate complex and must be reached via a short drive)

Position: Medical
Species: Arctic Wolf
Appearance: Cream fur colour and Light blue eyes. He wears a white shirt with a lab coat over the top, with black trousers and polished shoes.
Weapons: N/A
Bio: Born and raised on Mars. Riku showed high intelligence and well rounded abilities. He decided to to take a course in Medical studies. After finishing his medical training, Riku wanted some experience and got himself transferred to Earth. Though it wasn't quite the excitement he hoped for. Hearing about the new position available on LV-426 he jumped at the chance and took the job.
Start where you want. You don't even have to meet anyone else if you don't have to. Just please can you stick to the continuity. Okay, lets begin

All good! Yeah, any name will do as long as it doesn't sound human-ish and yeah they do have a hive, it's if they don't have a queen then there's no hive
these are the positions in the Xenomorph hierarchy;
Drone (like a worker, gathers hosts, the most often seen one)
Warrior (bigger than a drone, first seen in Aliens )
Runner (Smaller than a drone, but very quick. First seen in Alien 3)
Elite Warrior (Slightly bigger than a warrior, first seen in Aliens Flanking the Queen)
Thats pretty much it, there are others, but they're not canon)

Weapons: None, but can turn almost anything into one.
Bio: Born on Jupiter, Entaru was raised in the Hydrogen Mafia. His abilities as a hitman made him well known in criminal circles. However he was caught hijacking freighter shuttle and was sentenced to hard labor, doing jobs that the colonists don't want. Obviously, vehicles are not his strong suit.

Species: Wild cat
Appearance: look at my avatar... like that... wearing three quarter lengths,a bandanna and a jacket... the engineers have very lose rules on uniform and work clothes...
Weapons: Has access to tools, however no real weapons...
Bio: Kistrev is a worker, through and through... manual labour runs through his blood... working in the colony he helps keep everything running smoothly.... the engineers are the unseen soldiers, the ones battling against harsh conditions to keep a colony of beleagured citizens alive and breathing on a hostile planet...
umm... id porbs start off in the control or power grid complex seeing as that makes sense.....
is that ok? ^_^

Position: Squad Leader, Colonial Marines
Species: Brown Bear
Appearance: Tall, thick build, brown eyes, brown fur.
Weapons: M41A Pulse Rifle; ten millimeter explosive-tipped caseless ammo, NeoStead 3000 pump action shotgun
Bio: A serious soldier who keeps to himself, Cpl. Hicks always manages to be in the right place at a potentially lethal time, which makes him highly appreciated by his fellow Marines.

Hoping for at least one more person, but if you want I can start it now :3 Kit you are approved welcome aboard. BlackMetal_Bear, You are approved also, though I shall have to place you in the complex as a sort of scout trooper, you won't have your squad, as this is set just before the events in Aliens, so the marines haven't actually arrived yet. Also be mindful, you don't have unlimited ammo, and cannot carry ridiculous amounts of the stuff.
