Title: Spellbound
Post by: Dr. Strange on May 23, 2009, 10:42:57 PM
Ok, so I've just recently returned to the forums after a two month break. I'm starting this RP as a welcome-back gift for my friends. I haven't started an RP for a while now so I'm a tad rusty.

Requirements are simple;

1. No One-Hit Kills, they're just stupid and unfair.
2. Please refrain from cursing as it is prohibited on this forum
3. No unnecessary jargon about random things, unless they pertain to the RP, please.

The *character form is as such;

Name:
Alias (Creative Codename):
Gender:
Height:
Fur/Feather/Scale Coloring:
Special Markings:
Background (Optional):
Species:
Other (Specify if I forgot it):

*You may have as many characters as you wish, but remember others will be confused unless you use some form of identification for each.*

Please keep the RP as clean and easy to follow as possible. I will be back tomorrow to check on the progress.

Two of my characters are;

Name: Sahara Elizabeth Hall
Alias: Killswitch Beta
Gender: Femme
Height: 5'3
Fur/Feather/Scale Coloring: midnight fur
Special Markings: neon blue moon middle forehead,
Background: Unknown
Species: Fox

Name: Frank Henry Gordan
Alias: Frankenstein
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2
Fur/Feather/Scale Coloring: Grey/white
Special Markings: pinkish slash from right eye to left cheek
Background: Unknown
Species: Lizard

So, here's the story;

There has been fighting and all the goodies associated with war going on in the country of Greater Volvia for three thousand years. Up until this time, not many people have known why. But, now that the king of Greater Volvia has been assassinated, every fur, human and scalie living here has turned on one another; killing men, women and children for the sake of feeding their thirst for blood. The death toll has risen to more than half the country's populace and now it is a fight against time and Fate to correct the destruction started by the Kluxka clans..

You, the next generation of sorcerors, assassins, hitmen, and militia, are needed to further the efforts and bring us closer to victory; else we fall into eternal darkness..

I think we're enemies at first but some of us may work our way up to be allies.  Idk.

x3 The eating thing can't be guaranteed.

Either way you wish. If you decide to be part of the KL clans, you must pick one of these;

Bolt Leader- Operator and sole punishment dealer to all the lesser clans under the Kluxka name
Beta Mass- second in command, defense overseer and influential judge in Kluxka courts
Thug- self explanatory: furs or scalies who do as they're told, never question, and always keep what's seen to themselves
Lesser Command- Leaders of the smaller clans, more commonly known as 'Clan Pimps' by the Fate Runners (opposing Volvia militia)

The G.Volvia forces;
Military rankings- whatever rank in the militia is available at sign-up
Mage- person with Magickal abilities just learning the ropes
Witch/Wizard- one with at least some previous Magickal training
Sorcerer- male with expert Magickal abilites and training
Sorceress- female
Bowmen classes, soldier classes, and other such command pieces are classified in form I have yet to find and post.

yes. That's fine, Chrono. I'm not sure how I'd like the rp to start yet.... A little more time to plot it out, I think. I'm at school at the moment so I will type the beginning part when I scoot into the house, unless Scott makes up some kind of activity we're to do tonight instead. I highly doubt that will happen thoguh. ;) See y'all then.

Hey, Artemis, I'm pretty sure "spell-warriors" can be known as Paladins; at least, that's what D&D amongst other games has lead me to believe. ^^
Also, I'll be surprised if anyone remembers me apart from Sammie...

Name: Lepau Oriske
Alias: Cinderheart
Gender: Male
Height: 5ft 4
Fur Coloring: Orange, like a fox.
Special Markings: His left eye's iris is white, and he's completely blind in that eye. Other than that, nothing remarkable.
Background: Born in a northern village, he grew up playing in the snow, and working in it, too, despite his family coming from further south. He always stood out like a sore thumb, but nobody minded, it was a small village and everyone was friends. Now, he's returned further down the globe.
Species: Orange fox
Clothes: Brown, slack robes, some thick gloves and a pair of wooden sandals are all he wears. He often carries a stick when he's travelling, using it as a walking stick of sorts.
Other: He's not shy, but rather quiet and overly polite. He's almost completely selfless. He insists on travelling with only weapons with practical purposes; for example, he'd take a knife for cutting herbs, but he'd never take a sword. His magic is simply making his hands glow, but if he touches you with his hands glowing, the heat is incredibly painful. He does not like using this magic, nor can he handle it well; it's used more for self defense.

Name: Treporito Kuulri
Alias (Creative Codename): Demonpuppet
Gender: Male
Height: 6ft
Fur/Feather/Scale Coloring: None; he's human. As for skin, he's pale.
Background: Grew up in a very secluded atmosphere with his brother. His elder brother bullied him through his childhood, dominating in physical strength. By the time he was strong enough to fight back, his brother had left to become a knight; Treporito ended up studying magic, showing a natural capability for what was considered dark, or black magic. He lives off the land, selling little trinkets in towns. Eventually, he met Lepau, and insisted on travelling with him "for a little bit" - they've been working together for almost half a year now.
Species: Human
Clothes: Slick, black hair, parted to reveal his face. He wears a black leather tunic, sleeveless to show his muscled arms, and also some white leggings with leather boots.
Other: Like I said, he specialises in dark magic, though it's not incredibly powerful. His trick? He makes it look easy, and he performs his moves with style, which intimidates an enemy and makes him appear more powerful than he is.

I fancy drawing these guys at some point.

well in my eyes paladins are just faithful warriors, so yea.

Okay, I'm putting a minimum two-post window. Meaning; no one can post right after someone else and if no one has posted for a few days, notify me and I'll find out what's up. Also, if you plan to be somewhere during the summer, give notice ahead of time so one of the other RPers can keep you in the loop.

None from me, but now i'm wondering why...
Title: Re: Spellbound
Post by: Dr. Strange on May 29, 2009, 05:11:08 PM
none here. A query as to why is all, I think.

General: A new character. The three are in separate places but might soon meet.

Name: Kahlea Marie Drake
Alias: Black Knight
Gender: Female
Height: 5’4.5
Fur/Feather/Scale Coloring: Black and purple
Special Markings: small tattoo on right shoulder, marking used for identification of murderer status
Background: Kahlea was raised as the Bolt Leader’s daughter; she rebelled against him only recently and is on the run from him.
Species: Lion-Panther descent
Physical Appearance: She has her father’s striking ice-blue eyes and her mother’s dark fur. Long, silken black fur covers all of her body and neon purple fur dots her forehead, muzzle, paws, and tail; making her stand out sorely in a crowd of people. Clothed in only a thin black hood, Kahlea moves silently through the night and is rarely caught off guard.

To reduce confusion, I have elaborated on the ideas laid down in the first post.

it's like a large-scale American Revolution kind of thing.

The Bolt Leader is the representation of the idea of Thugs in a medieval setting. They are a new kind of riotous group that is organized beyond the imagination for this time period. Not many can form such a faction with so many variables out of bandits, thieves, and cutthroats..

The King represents a benevolent leader, only concerned with caring for his people. The Majs/Spellcasters are opposed to the new laws of the thugs. They fight to restore the order of the assassinated king, Kengari. Decide if you wish to help restore the Old Law or integrate the New.

Part of the rumor that is flying, unbidden, around the country is that the king has a surviving family. None with relation have been located as of now but many of the tales in large cities around the capital is the Thugs are close to finding them.

FIRST OBJECTIVE: Determine if there is any truth in the wild tales being passed via word of mouth by half-drunk men and women.

SECOND OBJECTIVE: Obtain information about this mysterious jaguar. Possibly spy? Or insider for investigation of Bolt Leader stronghouse?

okay, well.... Since Spellbound has taken a nose-dive. I am locking the thread and any associated pieces. Sorry for the disappointment.
