I always love hearing things like that I haven't heard before, though in all honesty, I have heard that before. And spelling does matter, it's just that your mind looks at a word like a big symbol and it expects to see a word in it's normal form, if you switch around the letters in the middle of a word it doesn't confuse your mind to the point it can't read, but is still very noticeable.
