I had a rough moment on another forum... Anyway this is something I drew around christmas time. I wasn't going to post it because it was a special gift to some users on another forum who continued to read mischief knights dispite the delays, but I've decided to post it anyway to show that I am inproving and that I'm trying my hardest to deliever higher quality work for all of you to see.

the poses are nicely done ^^
On the first one I would like to give you the tippp that it would look better if you cut the picture a little bit better so you don't see black stripes and the sides of the picture :)
The second one is nice too but I think a little bit to tiny ^^# I can't read what#s written there and there is too much space on the right side- if you cut this out it would fit much better.
I hope it is alright to give you critique .. I like to help other artists :)

Description:
Sarina’s cousin and Annabel's younger brother who yarns to take revenge on Sarina and her father for slaying his father the late count Dominic Vandalia. Fredrick is a rather annoying vampire who is always seen with his two personal servants the Victoria Twins. Though Fredrick sees him self as a major threat to Sarina, Sarina sees him as nothing more then a minor pain in the butt.
Fredrick wields a sword called “Envy’s Rapier” one the 7 Vandalia weapons, and uses mostly Dark based attacks.
Fredrick's bio image. Next up will be Queeny's and Dantz's Bios. Yeah I know I said this stuff would be done by now (wouldn't blame any of you if you guys gave up on Mischief Knights by now.) but some life things came up (along with a sure shot chance to finally get a job) so yeah.... more delays.... ****! I hate that it's been almost a year now since Mischief Knights was posted on to the internet and I'm just getting to episode 4 (I should be up to episode 16 by now!). So again more apologies for those who still waiting for scene 5 of episode 3. I'll finish it as soon as I can. I swear on my life! WITH GOD AS MY WITNESS! Episode 3 and 4 will be finished by the end of this week!

She also loves to pull pranks (usually on Queeny) and rarely ever handles anything seriously. despite her devious and often narcissistic nature, Sarina does do good deeds every now and then... for a reword in return or to please her boyfriend "Dash Stellar" who enjoys helping people. Sarina loves to toy with and shame her opponents, and uses mostly Light and Ice based Spells and attacks. It's said that she has ADHD, and is not allowed to consume anything with a lot of sugar in it, for the safety of anyone around her.

It's said that she literally burns her targets to ashes with fire attacks and spells as hot as 14,000 degrees.

Although she’s respected by most people and usually isn’t annoyed by anyone, she’s often considered a Spell Otaku (Nerd) because of her encyclopedic knowledge of Spells, Mage Equipment, and Alchemy. As well as always being seen reading a Spell or Alchemy (sometimes both) textbook(s) on her free time. She was even rumored to have gone Ax Crazy (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AxCrazy) one time when she was in the middle of a Job with Alexcia. Alexcia claims to have had to actually knock her out just to stop her. Pandora is skilled in all 7 elements when it comes to spell, and uses many different spells for each element (although she usually uses mostly Wind spells). She even uses a staff that can boost the range and power of her spells (by spinning it), shoes that enable her to perform Alchemy using only her feet, and a hat and coat that help shield against spells and attacks. However do to her obsession over learning new spells and using only spells, Pandora is completely useless when it comes to physical combat (which means she can’t fight AT ALL). She is also known to have learned 2 forbidden spells. It’s rumored that Pandora is a Half Demon and that the various Spell Boosting Cloths she wears are actually meant to keep her full power in check. But there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of this being true.
[Readers note: Pandora is a plot hole repair character created to fix several plot holes that occur later in episodes 9 and 10 that I didn’t even realize in till about a week ago. How some characters are found and how some characters survive an event originally didn’t make much sense. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PlotHole) However by creating Pandora, I can fix these problems so that they make sense and don’t seem random. She appears in episodes 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, and during the final episode. She even plays a major role in episodes 4, 6, 9, 10, and 13.]

Description: A D-Virus Cells user and ex servant of Death. Siren is a Succubus who like the rest of her species use to work for Death and help guide souls to the after life. A job she hated with a passion. Up until the day Kage was freed 5 years ago by a 12 year-old Dash Stellar and began infected all cities in her path with the D-Virus. Siren was collecting souls in London, England when Kage arrived and unleashed the D-Virus through the city infecting thousands including Siren. Like Dash, Siren was one of the few beings infected to have bonded with the D-virus and gain D- Cells which give her the ability to use the Cells as an alternative source of power instead of either dieing from or being spared by it. Since that incident Siren has been working for Kage in order to master the D- Cells and break free from Death up until recently when she and her partner were labeled defectives and terminated by Kage. After being saved by Dash Stellar, Siren decided to return the favor by giving him a “gift” and promising to help him by locating his girl friend Sarina (who went to Alterra without a moments notice) In exchange that he teach her how to reach D-Cell Stage 4, a powerful transformation that he and only he was able to reach out of all but 1 of the D-Cell users who each could only reach Stage 2 (which Kage praises him for).
Siren is a bit of a free spirit and usually doesn’t tie herself down to anyone or organization unless she wants something from them or needs them for something. She’s also a bit of a show off when it comes to her body, and enjoys wearing mostly revealing and sometimes skimpy clothing. Siren’s also very affectionate towards anyone that she finds cute in anyway, and has a habit of seducing the adults of those people just because they’re cute to her.
Siren’s natural abilities that all Succubus have include the ability to change the form her black fore arms into any kind of weapon/object of her choosing, and the ability to cross back and forward between the living realm and the after life as much as she wants. Like Dash, Siren possesses powers similar to Kage and has the power to invoke a controlled mutation called “Dark Stage Mutation” which allows her to harness the energy generated by the D- Cells. Do to D-cell users having the same arm morph ability as Succubus. Siren’s natural abilities were upgraded and she can now form arm cannons and fire dark energy shots from her arms as well as extend her arms length even longer the she could normally. Siren does not use nor carry any weapons and fights using the D –Cells and her arms morph ability to morph her arms into any type of close range weapon mostly large claws, blades, and spikes.

I like that you're trying to pull away from the Sonic style, I think it could be quite beneficial to you. Though, to be honest, I can't really pick out many differences in that last drawing from your other drawings, so I think it could be pushed further. As the artist, I'm sure you see the differences more clearly, but to others it can never be quite as clear since we don't see the process you go through. Never be afraid to try something different. :) You obviously are able to draw pretty well, I'd like to see what else you could do if you keep pushing the style.

I have to say I rather love the last three drawings the most, the Dash Chronicles being my favorite because it reminds me of the movie "The Cat Returns" and the character Tails from the Sonic series at the same time. Very nice looking poise, I like the sharp quality of the blade, and especially I love the way the fox looks overall.
The royal wasp ship looks really cool too, looks better than Star Wars to me :D

I'm working on a new poster for Mischief Knights. Why, because the old one needs to go. It's no longer artistically accurate and my artwork has improve since then so that merits a need to change it.
The new one will only show Sarina, Queen, and Jack.

If your still interested in knowing how I create those glow effects. I created a series of different sized, very soft, high feathered brushes that are barely visible on the brush menu. All I have to do is go along the edges of what ever I want to glow with one of the very soft, high feathered brushs using a bright color and there you have it.
That's how I do it. :)

This wallpaper features the mischievous and deviant Sarina Phantom, the lead character of Mischief Knights.
I'm not to happy with how it came out (and a mistake made that I didn't notice till long after I rendered most of it made it difficult to deal with is largely why). Thankfully out of the 3 walls being worked on. This is the only one that will be this bad. Will fix when I feel capable of fixing it without having to spend another month on it when I could be progressing the story and doing those request that I still didn't finish/do.

I think your lineart has improved just over this page alone, for example the Happy New Year pic is an excellent sampling of lineart, as it shows more focus and control. I also feel that the Sage Profile +Fate Vanish+ image is the best coloring so far, judging by this page, because the shading is very natural, if subdued.
Anyway, to get to the point your art has improved a lot and I see much beautiful works here. I'm jealous! :S

1 of 2 Winter Holiday pics. Due to my great stupidity and shitty excuse for focus. This didn't get finished completely.
The original CG was suppose to be her flying through the winter night sky on a broom inspired jet bike delivering presents. But I didn't have enough time to draw it so I had to use the concept design instead...
Also nstead of going no-lines, I had to Cell Shade it just like my old 2011 stuff. And as a result there's a lot less detail.
Well, I guess it's something and it did turn out better then expected for something rush colored and speed rendered in 3 hours time. Marry Christmas and Happy Holidays 2011.
And to a brand new year that may or may not kill us all! XD

The first drawing was the second thing I made in Jan 2011. But I never finished nor posted it till now. It's of a character I created that I at the time had no plans of using in mischief knights. (before that incident on PA back in June 2011 that led to me stopping Mischief Knights for a good while)
While I do have notes for this character. It's for the best If I don't share them. Since no ones really going to have any idea what I'm talking about without spoiling the entire prequal arc. You know, that skipped first story arc that I put off to the side in order to do the second arc first.
To make easy to understand what I'm talking, let me type this a bit clearer.
*"D-Resonate" is a story that revolves around 3 main characters. Dash Steller, Sarina Phantom, and Queenie Aroma.
*"Mischief Knights" is really "D-Resonate's" second major story arc. It pauses Dash's story and picks up where Sarina's left off earlier in the first arc.
*I skipped the first arc "Dash Chronicles" and nearly half of Dash's story and some of Queenie's because I favored Sarina more then those two. And because Dash's story gets confusing towards the middle since gets mixed in with Queenie's. If I didn't skip that arc and his story, you would have seen Rei a lot sooner along with Siren.
Anyway this was an kind of old design that was made for her. I felt that since it was literially the first thing I drew during start of 2011, it'd be a great thing to redraw and compare for 2012.
My appologies to everyone that I still owe art too. I'll get to you all in ASAP. Just dealing with somethings right now.

. Well in addition to giving her some protection against spells and energy based attacks, it can also change form. For Sarina this function is called "Style Shift"
This is Sarina's "Blade Master Style". Her body suit becomes a corset, the cloak and gloves becomes a long coat, the stockings become hot pants/tights, the highheel sandles become open toe boots, and her hat turns into a buster sword named "Winter Rose" that's roughly 5.5ft in length.
With "Blade Master Style" Sarina's spells can be cast from her sword mid swing. Her blade can also freeze the spot it cuts. And no dispite the name it doesn't make a her a master swordswomen. Its just a cool name Sarina made up for it. XD
Her other form is called "Hex Master Style" which is shown in the link below to the left.

A 30 min speed painting of "Nightmare" from "Mischief Knights Episode/Chapter 5". Just practice and nothing more. Didn't turn out quite as planned but not bad for my first attempt at speed painting.
Fun Fact: "Nightmare" might be the only villian I've made that was interesting to most of the people who've read "Mischief Knights" and lived to tell about it. XD Fitting seeing as that may have been the best chapter I've ever written so far. Really should finish it one of these days.

This has actually been Flat colored and has been sitting on my Harddrive since January.

Description: The third youngest of the Sonas Famliy, a clan of rogue thieves for hire that steal important documents and weapons for anyone with a large sum of money. Raiz is a thief widely know across Earth and even Alterra for her and her family's famous heist of Several WMD blue prints (Weapons of Mass Destruction) for the World Nations during a international crisis. Like Dash she too was infected with the D-Cell during Kage's resurrection and was one of the few to adapt to them. Raiz, like the rest of her family, specializes in sound manipulation and can use her mana and D-Cells to alter the sound waves admitted around her within a 50 ft radius. Allowing her to fool her victims and listen in on conversations.
She can also prevent her victims from being able to hear anything at all if they are within range. Raiz fights using her hands, knives, and occasionally firearms.
Personality traits (and tv tropes): Chaotic Neutral, seductive, Most Common Superpower, The tease, under cleavage (her usually outfits fall under this), book smart genius, cunning and clever, noble demon, Form Fitting Wardrobe, tike bomb (raised to be a thief)

A digital sketch of a poster I've been working on last month. It's still far from finished though. I have no idea when I'll finish it.
It's for a web comic/web novel project that I've been working on for over 4 years now. Some of you may know it, most probably won't but will reconize the characters.

An older CG I went and finished up. I made several major mistakes. Ranging from her weird face to autonomy issues I'll probably be yelled at for to the pose being easily mistaken for something... else, even though she's just riding her Note Scythe.

Update: Been busy
Since it's pretty clear now that people aren't going to let me get away with drawing unrealistic breast for whatever reason I may have had before, I'm redesigning the female characters again. Which means yes the busts are going to be gradually drawn better from now on.
Another intersting bit. I'm actually dropping their sizes quite a bit. So there's that too. Why well because when it comes to realistic busts the bigger they are the worst they'll look due to sagging. Meaning anything beyond C cup will not turn out well realisticly. And I'm just not going to live with that. At least not yet anyway.
And before you say a bra can correct that, yeah no I've been trying that all along with most of them and no one's buying it. Besides I assumed dropping the sizes was a good thing? lol

This September I'm going to have quite a lot of free time. So since I need to replace my sister's broken Wii with a brand new one, I'm opening up commissons!
There are no resrictions, I'm willing to draw anything within the legal limits of the USA's law.

All "not safe for work" commissions can only be worked on during September through October.

News in regards to the game project "D-Resonate Vol1":
Sprites for the player character "Sarina Phantom" will be up next week. Most likely towards the end of the week.
Now that my sister is in first grade, I have 8 hrs a day worth of free time to work on the game until I find work. So this might help give things a bit of a boost interms of studing and working. I'm also debating on posting screenshot of the level maps for the Pre Alpha test area "Black Towers" and a proto type of the intro area "Waking Forest", the safe area "Phantom Family Manner/Mansion" or "Daddy's Mansion" as it may be called, and "Neon City".
Should I do post the maps please remember that these maps are just that, a level map showing the platforms and pathways. I have not and may not have any of the graphics for any of these areas done by next week.

Will have the standing animation done wednesday. Walking, running, jumping, and Wall slide will be worked on throughout the remainder of September.
Once those are done I'll add them to the main game. Once I have enough of Sarina's Sprite sheet done I can start working on building up the enviornments for D-Resonate Vol1 Pre Alpha.

Grass tiles set 1 for the area "Waking Forest". ( this is a screen cap and not the actual file)
Details: Exactly 288, 32x32 tiles. On a 768x384 canvas. It's only a concept tile set and will serve as a place holder for the grass tiles for the area "Waking Forest" until I either make better ones, or decide to stick with this one. Like many concept designs that'll be shown here among a few other places. It may change before the final build.

During February through April, I did a bit of coloring and rendering practice by drawing simple portaits of some of the characters from the current "D-Resonate: Castle of Dreams" project and no backgrounds (working on tile sets is eating up too much time for that at the moment). Some of these have been just sitting on my HD for months. I made 5 in total. Sarina Phantom, Silvia Phantom, Queenie Aroma, Xaniras Vandalia, and a one-off new character Inaba Izuna.
Those will probably all be posted here. For the sake of filler updates while I finish working on Tile set 1 for "Black Towers". I want to make the stone wall and floor tiles as detailed as I can get them within a small 32x32 px tile. They'll also be spaced out across a week for the saking of maintaining atleast some kind of consistent update schedule. And will not be in order of creation due to me messing up Silvia's whip.

Finally finished the 1st tile set for the Black Towers. The idea behind this area is a mysterious, mystical, rundown, tower that shares a connection with the Castle Of Dreams (Which I still havn't named yet) and the Phantasms (the monster of the game). While the tower only appears at night, it's still centuries old. With moss, fungus, and other plant life grown/growing through the cracks and holes of the structure. Powered and lit up by old spell glyphs and ancient magic tech long since outdated.
So far it'll like be one of the larger areas to explore. At the very least I don't plan on scraping any of the rooms already made for it. The big question would be how to make it worth taking a look around for a bit. Since the rest of the game's stages will be much more narrow, and semi-Linear (more the one route to take in each stage).
So as it stands it could end up standing out compared to the rest of the game. And could be a nice return point to stock up on powers ups (if I decided to go that route).
Like with the previous tile set. This is a place holder and may get altered and/or replaced before the final build.

Rendering practice that I did in April. This one showing Inaba Izuna, a new NPC character from "D-Resonate: Castle of Dreams". More artwork of this character will be posted later. Also this design is not the final one, and may change before the sprite is made. I made 5 of theses. Each will be posted along side the tile sets, sprites, and concept designs for "D-Resonate: Castle of Dreams" with this one being the last of the 5.

One of a bunch of CG pics started for the summer. Though only a few might get submitted. Fun fact to explain the file name. This was originally one of two Spring Break pics that I started back in March. But I put it off to the side to work on the game project more. And ended up using it for summer instead. This is also an attempt at practicing backgrounds. I think I may have screwed up the draw distance for this attempt though.

And~ we are back. And by we I mean me.
It's been a long summer, but a worth while forced break. During that time I gained some new ideas, concept boss design ideas, and have two titles that I want your opinions on. You see, D-Resonate Castle of Dreams was only a place holder title until I found a better title for it. So what do you think of these two titles? Which one do like the most? Or are both titles not that great? Or do you feel Castle of Dreams is a better title then these two?
Your feedback will help me out a lot. And more will come later on in the year.
The custom font was made by me. Though it's not technically a font. And is still being worked on.

Have to say. out of all the characters I've created over the years. Kage is the one that's had the biggest redesign. And took the longest to do so with multiple failed/near failed attempts.
My reasons you may ask?
1. She didn't really look like a demon till now. Making it hard to pass her off as one. A problem that plagues my other anthro demons. But they won't get changed over it.
2. F*%$ drawing beaks!!! (seriously though the beak thing wasn't going to work out due to them being too stiff compared to lips when it comes to expression. Well without defying biology even more.)
3. This was originally suppose to be her ancient/one-winged-angel (trope) form. But that just sounded way too silly so... I just made it her default look.
4. She just seems more charismatic this way. which is useful considering she's suppose to be a Knight Templar/Anti-Villain Extremist (tropes) with good publicity.
5. I pretty much rewrote her bio, and scrapped a lot of old plot points and story arcs to make the games more sense-able, less fanfic silly, and actually possible to make on my low budget. Making a redesign necessary. Though her role as an anti-villain and being a former Sage is still being kept.
There are more reasons behind this decision but I'd basically be writing out a full several pages listing and explaining them all. So I'm just going to keep it brief.

Why was V2 uploaded before V1? Well I liked this one more, and ended up working on it more then I originally intended too.
And now to get back to working on "D-Resonate: Sonata of the Phantasm".
