Anifur is like furry anime (duh), but i think that it is not really to popular :th_PyongLlora: and the ones that are there are like in japanese or in spainish sub. don't ask :yeah-yeah:

I have an idea for a series. I've been working on it in secret for a while now... it's about my mascot:

I'm thinking of having it be an action/comedy with all ages as the target audience. I have a few ideas for the cast (from major Voice Actors to average people). As for the style, it should obviously be 2-d. I was thinking that if I could get a good promotional poster for it, I could enter it in the annual "Pitch Party" contest held yearly by Animation Magazine. http://www.animationmagazine.net/
The winner gets to pitch their idea to the network of one of the judges (i.e. Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network).

I also have several ideas for the cast, but we want FURRY voice actours. And that doesn't mean lots of hair and a beard or something... 'cause some people have mistook me for that and then I thwap them.

I can play the trumpet, if that helps, and I'm pretty good with garage band and other music programs. I'm quite skilled with computers and this could be good training for videogame designing.

HQ here is fine with me. Actually, I have 7 main characters for season 1 of my series:
Tano: A male raccoon (and my mascot).
Pengint: A female penguin.
Shelltin: A (male) turtle.
Kite: A male kangaroo.
Rachel: A female fox.
And the two villains:
Ray: A male bird (species yet to be decided).
Deidrich Von Heidegger: A male human.
In case your wondering, the idea is an action, comedy adventure.

Umm, a turtle I can see, but a penguin? As cool as that would be, they only live in the Antarctic. So, how about something more realistic. Maybe a female Dog instead?

My character's are too far developed to change that now. And remember, this is only the main cast. There will be others.

You're right, Daisuke. I agree with you that Chad should be the leader of the project. The cast can be voted on, or something. But I would really like to see some more common choices of furs in the lineup. I honestly can say that I do not know a single turtle furry/scalie. The cast should be the fursonas of the staff.
Plus, we need to find out exactly where all of this is going to go. What kind of genre will it be? Action? Romance? Comedy? I think we still have a lot of planning before we even worry about the cast.

You can use some unorthodox methods, but you can get Flash from bittorrent and a keygen. *whistles innocently* my brother did it and it worked.

I dunno about throwing Devault in there right now, mostly because he'd be hell to animate, seeing as everything of his is so loose that the slightest movement would probably have his clothes and hair moving for a few seconds afterword XP
And as for music, I'd love to help with that. I'm a music composition major, a hopeful for writing film scores and the like. I've a got a few pieces I've written, working on more, but with that, college, and my Raven's Hollow Series time quickly slips away ^^ And also, if you really need to know, I play piano, oboe, english horn, all saxophones, and marimba/xylophones. Recordings will be a problem, no doubt, since I've got a few connections with the local orchestra.
Overall, I'm doubting I can do anything thanks to my busy schedule, but I might be able to provide a midi or two or some pieces, since I've written a few songs for my story series.
