It is the year 2012, and the living dead are swarming all over London (corny i know, but its a good plot). They were created by a team of scientists, who inadvertently created a microscopic parasite, which infects human hosts, blinding them, but making them pracitcally invurnerable. The creatures cant see, and so track by smell, and hearing, and any part of their body can live independatly as long as it can get fresh blood to it, so to kill them, the survivors must destroy the hearts. The infection is passed on by the mingling of infected blood and saliva, with the survivors blood, and saliva. Strangely the infection only affects humans, other animals are unaffected, but nevertheless hunted by the infected humans. The infected do not ever eat vegetables, and thus the survivors always find food to eat. Blood, and raw flesh attracts the creatures fairly quickly, and nothing seems to repel them. Substances such as cyanide are negated by the parasite, and no other way has been found to kill them.
The last bastion of military strenght, was overrun by hordes of the undead, and has been crammed to the brim with hordes or reanimated corpses. Scattered throughout the city are several groups of isolated survivors, unable to live in large groups, for fear of attracting large hordes of infected humans. However, in the centre of the Fort, there is rumoured to be a cure to the problem, a virus which can kill the parasite. No-one know if it is true, but it was the birth place of the parasite, and might also be the death bed of it.
Assume in this time period, that any shop can exist within reason, and keeping it clean. So you can find weapon stores, food store, etc. Also, survivors cannot live together in groups of larger than 2-3, else they attract large amounts of infected. Fill in the following profile to join:

Name: Alexander Williams (Al for short)
Age: 21
Weapons: A hatchet, a pump action shotgun, a large double bladed knife, a silenced pistol, and a rifle. Is also a mild terrakenetic (manipulation of earth)
Appearance: Fairly tall, seemingly emaciated, brown dreadlocks, with blonde highlights. Wear blue jeans, and a blue shirt, with an urban camo jacket. Always wears a pair of heavy combat glove. Blue eyes, pale skin, and a series of long scares on his arms, from ailed free running attmepts, to avoid infected.
Safehouse: On the top wing of a mental institute, a cell which has been welded shut from the inside, and has a set of conected cells, which have metal grates seperating them.
Background Information: Was a communications technician before the infections started, and has put it to good use trying to contact other survivors using a home made radio array. He is a quiet individual, happy to keep himself to himself, but will always be able to spare a bed and a meal to his fellow man, so long as they sleep in the next cell over. Enjoy experimenting with objects he finds, and makes lots of improvised devices.
  Al swung his axe down, and burried it in the chest of the creature, withdrawing quickly to avoid its scything claws. For a moment, he felt a stab of remorse. The creature was only 16 he'd say, and it was a girl. Even though he knew it was impossible to save her, he still felt compelled to comfort her, as she bled to death on the floor. He pulled his shotgun out, and glared around, wary for more infected, as he waited for the creture to die. He knew the scent of blood, and the death cries of the infected would attract more, but that was part of the plan. The corpse became silent, and he grasped the axe, wrenching it from the chest of the creature, he wiped the blood off on its dress, and grabbed the creatures feet, dragging her along the street, away from his safe house.
  He continued along the street, and chose a building, a good distance away from the safe house. Dragging the body up the stairs, he threw it in a room, and deployed his newest creation, and improvised incendary grenade by the door. He linked the trip wire over the door, and placed the bomb by the door. Finishing off, he pulled a half fun fuel can from his bag, and put it on the floor by the bomb. That should get some of them, he thought bitterly. He shoving the door closed, he left, trying carefully not to tread in trail of blood.
  Later on, he was sitting in the safehouse, glaring out into the night, when suddnely, the building exploded, and turned the darkness of the street into day. Got some, he thought, before settling down to sleep..... after he checked all the doors...

Background info: Flames spent 6 years devoting himself to a variety of martial arts and earnt Junior Shodan status in every one. His family was slaughtered by the infected ones, leaving Flames in a very unstable emotional state. He then swore to both avenge their deaths and to "right this chaotic world"; using nothing more then his burning spirit and his newly constructed fighting style derived from several different martial arts...

Weapons: SVU silenced sniper rifle, P90 SMG, and a basic combat knife
Appearance: When not in his ghillie suit his hair is brown and around shoulder length, his clothes the basic british uniform.
Safehouse: Changes from night to night.
Background Information: An SAS marksman until the military fell apart, and after that things just turned into target practice.
Shauns current hiding spot was, as usual, nothing more than a tree and plenty of C4. The tree was mostly to keep track of his kills, and so far he had a respectable twenty-eight notches in the bark. He had forgotten which park he was in at the moment, but it gave a great view of a shopping center. No one there, Romero. No survivors, at least. He lined his crosshairs up on a man who bore a striking resemblance to that bloke from the James Bond movies and pulled the trigger.

she sat on her rock looking out towards the sea, a smile playing aginst her lips as the wind played about with her soft hair. she sighed inwardly and looked down at the crushing waves as they broke and came back against the rock just as hard, but she didn`t mind she had to be getting back to the house soon though before she became stranded. again.

Alex looked out the window, resting his rifle on the metal. He could have sworn he'd seen something moving inthe rubble, something skulking through the ruins, seemingly following a trail of some sort. A flesh of red moved, and he shifted to bear on it, the rifle's scavenged scope picking out the humanoid firgure as it hoved into view. He pulled the trigger, and blew its leg off. The creture fell, roaring in bestial fury. He sighted on its chest, then realised that the creature looked like his father. The second shot sonded much louder than the first.
The concrete slab scaped along the corridor, and Alex emmitted a stuttered gasp. He needed to place this outside his cell, so he could terrakenetically move it across the enterance at nights, to make his hide proof against scavengers and infected. Gathering his strenght, he raised his arms, and the slab floated a few centimeters of the floor, allowing him to pull it further down the corridor to his cell. Not much further, he thought. then i can have a quick rest and then go and move that corpse. He leaned backwards, and pulled the slab into one of the many cells which lead up to his own. Looking through the many open gates he suddenly hated himself for having so many gates leading up to his cell. With a sigh he dragged the block through the first of many gates, to the final gate leading into his personel cell.
Alex slumped in and dumped his weapons on the floor. Walking back out, he shut all the gates leading into the, then went back to his cell, and moved the block over the door, leaning it against the other side of the wall. The metal creaked slightly, but held. I'll reinforce that tomorow, he thought, turning on the radio.
"This is Alexander Williams, at the Jackson mental institute" he said into the transmitter. "I am transmitting on all frequencies, anyone out there please respond." He left the transmitter for a few minutes, and his sense of isolation grew. With a dejected sigh, he lay down on his bed, slid his pistol under his pillow, and proping his shotgun up next to the bed.
He closed his eyes, and tried to get to sleep.

Twenty minutes after he picked up on the transmission he was finally able to get a clear signal. Every now and then he got a military channel, but the civilian frequencies? Not before this one. The static had cut out parts of the transmission, but he had gotten the majority of it. "Jackson Mental Institution, this is Leftenant Hart, of the Seventeenth Special Infantry Brigade, transmitting at twenty-one hundred hours from the Hampton Palace. What is your status, over?" He knew that the radio on the other end was quite likely off, but he kept his on whenever he was awake. Batteries were easy to come by lately. Below him he could see plenty of movement even without his rifles night scope.
"Oi, it's cold out here, and I could use directions to whichever halfway house you've holed up in so I can get a little shuteye, so what do you say you answer already and give me a break?" He had never really had much patience for dealing with people over the radio, unfortunately. "If you're being eaten, just give me a blood curdling scream." He sat on the cold stone of the palace roof, laying his rifle beside him and leveling his side-arm with the doorway he had come through to get up here. The headset and throat mic he wore under his ghillie suit helped to keep him from talking too loud, the suit itself mostly to hide himself from other survivors. And Shaun had run into his share of nut jobs.

she got up and spread her wings out, feeling the gentle spray wash against them. she jumped up and started to fly towards London were her house would be awaiting her, but this time she knew she would be alone, she kept an eye out for below but being her childish self she soon got bored and houghts starteed circiling other thoughts...very scary thoughts

Al was started awake by the transmission, and he stared at the radio in disbelief for a moment. After a while, he smiled sadly, and rolled over.
"Oh no" he said to the wall. "You're not folling me again. I'm just dreaming, is all."
"Oi!" came the voice again, and Al started, grasping desperatly for the transmitter. "Its cold out here..." Al waited patietnly for the transmission to end, before pressing the button down, and, in a slightly shaking voice, replied.
"Hart, this is Alex" he said. "You are barely three hundred metres west from my location, if you can come to the hospital, i will meet you in the lobby, behind reception. Out." He replaced the transmitter, and forged a way clear of his room, closing the gate, and replacing the slab of rock behind him.
He paused at the door, and checked his weapons, before stepping out into the corridor, and walking to the destroyed stairwell. He hoped he hadnt found a crazy.
After making a quick sweep of the lobby to make sure it was clear, Alex settled in a chair behind reception, leveling his weapon at the door, and settling his sights. Just in case.

Shadow made his way through the streets quiet as a ghost, and was in the lobby the second it seemed safe. Pulling down the hood of his ghillie suit and taking off his balaclava he sighed. "Bloody hot in that thing, it is... So you must be Alex. You can call me Shadow." He smiled, his words carrying his faint Irish accent as he extended a hand to his host. "Glad to know I'm not the last bloke in England... You got any food? I'm starved." The hallways carried all the sterility of a regular hospital, something Shadow did not particularly care for, but it seemed safe enough.

she sighed and didnt realise she was lowering height until she saw hospital windows looming into view. she cringed slightly and tried to swoop up, something fast caught her sight and she turned to try and catch it. the ironic thing was that she near a hospital so if the worse should happen. she hugged her bleeding arm to her and started fluttering up to the top of the building just as something jumped of from the ground and split there claws into her wings....

Al kept his weapon raised.
"I am Alexander" he said, loudly and clearly. "I assume you are Hart, and yes i do have food, but you go first, down the corridor and into the stairwell at the end. You will climb the rope slowly, and if you run i will shoot you." He stood up, slowly, his gun barrel never wavering. "I dont mean to sound harsh, but I've made some bad calls before." He waited for Shadow to move, keeping his weapon raised.
There was a crash of something falling outside, and his head snapped round.
"Dammit!" he belllowed, before looking back to Shadow. "Alright, you have my trust for the moment." He lowered his rifle, and ran to the door. "Gimmie a hand. If i lose this building, we're in trouble." He ran round the corner, and saw a winged creture being set upon by one of the infected. Raising his gun, he fired at the pair, catching the infected in the arm.
"Run!" he shouted to the winged creature, as the infected turned to face him.

she screamed silently, she wasn`t suppose to be found, and the claws were digging deeper, she flutted herwings once more and then finnaly she stopped. she was falling backwards and she knew it but the things had strapped her wings together and was trying to take control of them. she turned herself into a ball and flipped about untill the beast was smaked against the wall, it loosened it`s grip anf fell slightly away. she spread her wings again and jumped away just as it gripped for her ankle

Al swore, and leapt forward, tackling the creature off its feet, knocking it away from the winged creture.
"Get away from her!" he screamed, slamming it to the floor. It screeched, and tried to bite him, its neck craning at an unreal angle. He grabbed it around the neck, and twisted with all his strenght. Its neck broke, and it writhed on the floor, and a talon slashed through Als arm. He cursed and fell backwards, as the creature tried to get back to its feet.
"Shadow!" he yelled, as he crawled for his shotgun, which had fallen when he tackled the creature. "Help!"

she briefly remebered her mother calling her an little angel,s he had liked that and had hugged just before everything seemed to dissapear. through her foggy vision she saw the man below who had helped save her. she gulped and felt the pain rise up her and wings. fluttering again she gently came down next to him and decided to concentrate on moving a car acroos the street and onto the "thing" she was careful not to hit either of them. and then she felt the darkness growing on her, but she wouldn`t let it she was stronger than this....wasn`t she. she unfurled her painfull wings and set about getting back in the air. silently thanking the man

Al grasped the creatures leg as it took off.
"Wait!" he spat. "You are injured. I have medical supplies upstairs if you need them." He shook his head, trying to dislodge the black mist gathering behind his eyes, trying to stay concious.
"What do you say?"

she gave out a cry as the man grabbed at her torn ankle, but when she looked down she could see that he was in even more trouble then she was. but evven if she wanted to leave her wings had just given out on her so she fell down with a silent cry. hitting the groun near where the "thing" lay. she scrabbled away from it, still in his grasp and lay whimpering on the floor as something took course through her ankle, she knew it wasn`t the poision because she was immune to it, but it still caused agaony and they would think different. she uttered a single word before her world went blank "immune..."

"Damm" snarled Al as the creature fell, and he crawled over to her, gathering her up in his arms. She was not heavy, but her wings her awakward, and kept getting in his way as he walked. Stagering over to his shotgun, he sung it on his back with one arm, and went inside, carrying the creature with him.
"Hold on" he whispered, short of breath. "Just hold on." He looked over at Hart. "Come with me, protect her with me." He reached the stairway, and laid the creature down, tying a rope around her torso, making a harness. He tied the rope to his belt, and began to climb, pulling her up with him. Less than halfway, and sweat began to drip off his body, and his hands began to slip. He kept climbing, determined to save the survivors he had just found, determined not to be alone agian.
He finally made it to the top, and carried the girl to his cells. Laying her on a spare bed, he fell to tending her injuries, and cooked a can of meat on the stove whenhe was finished, and hoped she would come to soon.

shw twitched slightly in her sleep, then made her wings dissapear into her back. she sniffed and the smeel of food broke the trance that she was in. she groggily awoke and looked up at a pale lit ceiling...where was she. the memories flooded back with clear clarity and she quietly whimpered while hugging herself into a tight ball and concentrating on other things then blood and pain. she looked around and suddenly realized that had something wrapped around her arm. she poked at it enquisitively and wondered why this man was helping here, she looked about the room wondering where he was, she still curled up and was trying to get use to the new smells around her

Alex looked up, and smiled as he saw the girl stiring. Filling a plate with hot meat he walked over to her and pulled her upright on the bed, sitting close to her.
"Thought you could use some food." he said, removing his arm from around he back, and seeing if she could remain upright on her own.

she stared lightly at him wondering what he was up to...she tried to speak but the food was making her feel nauseous and she wanted to see if he was ok, especially after it har torn at his arm. she grabbed her stomache as it made a loud noise and tried to hide her blush as she turned awaay from his face. he seemed nice but he to be sure...the "thing" had shoken her up quite abit and something was squaking at a high pitched noise causing her ears to sear with slight pain. she smiled anyway and looked into the mans eyes, seeing if she could read him for danger as her eyes changed to an addorble, irrestible ddep blue. she smiled and leaned into him, hugging his waist "thanky ou" she mumbled

Alex didnt know what to do. The only time this normally happened nowadays was when an infected tried to bite him, but she wasnt infected, he could tell that much. Tentativly, he laid a hand on her back, and wealky hugged her.
"No problem" he replied, utterly lost for words.

she could feel him tensing and immeadietly tried to tear away "hay,,do you need help with your arm...it must really hurt" she asked pouting slightly as she saw the blood dripping slightly down then a thought struck "wont they be able to...to smell the food" she looked around and retreatted to the back of the bed, suddenly frightened again, why? she didnt understand but for some reason something felt...wrong

"Dont worry" soothed Alex, worried about her nervousness. "They wont find anything, and they cant climb very well, so we're safe up here." He took a bandage and warapped it round his arm, tying it in place. Flexing his arm, he showed it to her.
"See?" he said. "All better now. I scraped my arm climbing up the stairwell trying to get you here." He picked up the plate, and offered it to her. "I know its not much, but you look hungry."

"but...i thought it was scratched by that..thing" she cringed at the word and tried not to curl up into a balll, she wished her brother was here...but he wasn`t so she would just have to get over it. she nibbled at the bandage and looked at the plate of food. she took it gently and started nibbling hungrily at it. she looked up when she had finished "your a good cook...and thanks" she smiled a little woozily as the venom in her arm and ankle started to throb about in her head but she had to get out before she went to sleep. she started to get up and collecting the plates started wobbily for a sink

"Hey" said Al grabbing her arm. "Dont worry, i got that. The sink doesnt even work anyway." He chuckled and took the plate off her, taking it into the next room. He sprayed disenfectant on it, and scrubbed it with a moderatly clean cloth, until all the food was removed from its surface. He walked back in, and noticed she had been swaying. He moved closer, worriedly looking at the bandages on her arms. Was she infected? he wondered.
"Are you okay?" he asked, taking her arm, and guiding her to a bed. He sat her down and then sat down next to her, peering underneath the bandages, checking for the telltale signs of pus seeping from the wounds. With a sigh of releif, he saw that there was none.

she smiled and tried to stare at him properly, this was new, her eye sight was going weaird. she gulped and nodded then started to lay into the bed curling up and trrying to fall into a sleep as an ache flattened around her head, but she wanted to help the man to so she kept and ear perked for him

Alex slid back on his bed, pressing his back against the wall. He drew his pistol, and palced it on the bed beside him, then pulled out his primary weapon racked the mechanism, and aimed it at the open door. Shadow hadnt arrived yet, and he couldnt close the door until he had.

she was asleep in seconds and she couldn`t help shvering slightly in the wind. grumpily she got up and stepped lightly towards the door, looking out she could roughly see the moon in it`s pale llght that folded around her. a strange sound of music was twisting up to her and she sae decided perch on the edge ot a window and look out into the cool nights air instead

Shadow found the door eventually, his pistol empty and useless in his hand. "I don't suppose you've got an extra box of nine-mils, do ya? I ran into a little trouble downstairs and..." Feeling rather than seeing the gun on his he froze. "You, er... You wanna put that thing down?"

she watched siletnly through the blinds on the window...was this man an infected or an intruder. she curled up and looked about for somewhere to surprise attack him. crawling she made it to the other side and leaned over int the doorway listening into the conversatin

"Aye" replied Al lowering his weapon. "I got some in the bag behind you. Now if you'll excuse me." He got up and walked past Shadow to close the outer door. Retreating into the inner room, he pulled the grate shut, and terrakenetically moved the concrete slab over the door.
"There" he said, wiping sweat off his forehead. "We should be safe for the night." He looked over to the blinds. "You can come out now."

Neglecting the ammo he just curls up in a corner and falls asleep almost immediately, his rifle lying propped against the wall and his pistol dropping slowly from his hand. He would ask about the powers later.

Uh-oh..she heard the dorr close before she had time to jump into the room. she mumbled angrily to herself and pressed her ear to the door just as the music out side came to a stop. she took interset in the music and stupidly decided to look to see where she had seen the enticing music...a few seconds pause and it started again. she curled up into the croner of the bay window outside their room and looked up at the crimson moon...she sighed loudly and tried to keep awake...

she stretched and sighed in relief as her some bones cracked. she would have to get back in there some how..hmmm. she pushed against the door but stopped when she heard a certain scraping new against the building...she crawled over. he was right they couldnt climb but if they found the door...she turned and decided to start thumping on the doors desperately

Flames awoke and slowly rose from the makeshift bed he had made. Groaning slightly, he walked towards the warehouse windows in a sleepy manner. A slight noise reached his ears and he tensed as he glanced outside, before swiftly darting out of sight. Just as he had suspected, there was a horde of infected outside. He clearly wouldn't be able to stay here much longer...
Sighing slightly, Flames packed a rucksack and opened a can of Pepsi MAX. He had liked staying here and was going to fix the radio he had found here today, to see if there was other life out there. Instead he would have to leave with naught but the essentials for survivial. What could possibly make things worse?
His question was answered as the sky grew dark and rain began to fall. A crash echoed upwards from the ground floor as the infected swarmed into the warehouse, searching for more prey. Flames mentally kicked himself before assuming a stance, ready to dealwith the horde as they trudged upthe stairs towards him....

she wacthed as the miserable rain fell and decided that if they didn`t lt her in then she might as well dissapear and look for more survivors. Not caring to much about the weather she jumped outside and unfurledd her wings, only to remmebr they had been torn so there was only limited flight. she swooped onto the ground and started running towards a certain crash of noise, she soon found it came from a warehouse hat was overloaded with infected. she unfurled her wings slowly again and started rising for the roof so that she could hang from the window unseen

Flames flipped the first one over his back as if it was nothing, breaking several the infected one's bones as he did so. The others seemed slightly more hesitant now, but came foward to attack anyway. Flames closed his eyes and focused on his breathing before opening and suddenly unleashing a fury of Aikido techniques upon the horde, using pressure points and their movements against them. Arms were broken, joints snapped and bodies were flung into one another without any major effort from the young martial artist. Still, he couldn't rely on counter-attack based techniques for long and he needed to break through their numbers if he was to leave any time soon.
Stepping back slightly and placing one earphone in his ear, he prepared himself. The song 'Supersonic' by Bad Religion began to play. As the beat pounded, so did his heart and he rushed fowards, striking fowards with the Samurai warcry, a Kiai...

Alex started awake, hearing the cry, and feeling it through the earth.
"Another one!" he shouted, terrakenetically moving the slab, and bursting through the door. He grabbed his wepaons, and strode out. A lutter of movement outside the window caught his eye, and he saw the wings of the girl in the darkness.
"Dammit!" he shouted, looking back to Shadow who was asleep. With a sigh of frustration, he scribbled a quicky note:
Went to ened of street, warehouse. I have closed the door but you can get out, if needs be. We could use sniper support when you wake up, and see us fleeing for our lives.

He placed the note on his chest, the ran out, closing the door, and rushing to the window at the end of the corridor. Grasping a rope hanging by the window he dived out the window, and swung onto a nearby roof. Sprinting across the rooftops, he ran towards the sounds of commotion, swinging his rifle off his shoulders. As he neared, he saw the fight through the windows. Dropping to his knees, he took aim, and hit one of the charging infected in the chest with a sickening crack. He took aim on some of the downed infected, and shot them all through the chest, before looking back t the fight. Just in case.

she kicked two of them in the face as she swung through the window and then thrust her arm out and smiled ads they flew out the window. she snuck down the stairs wheree she thought he had gone but soon got lost and although she couldnt see it, she knew there was something in here...following them both and it annyoed her that it just wouldnt come out, so balling herself on the stairs she waited

Alex shot another creture through the chest, as he saw the girl descending the stairs. He switched targets, to cover her, and failed to notice the infected sneaking up on his right, until it was too late. The creture bowled into him, and shoved him through the warehouse window.
"Holy hell!" he exclaimed as he fell, leving his rifle on the roof.

she jumped and raced to the window...seeing the infectsd and the man who had her. thrusting out her hand again she focused on getting him back. she punched it in the face then swooped down and cught his waist, she heaved and strained her wings, flapping upwatds towards the roof. she dropped down harshly "what were you thinking...you could have got youself kwilled...are you oki" she asked cheking him over for anysigns....she could hear the thing scratching at the roof but they were safe for now...at least

Flames plowed through the horde, almost becoming a blur as he unleashed a fury of rapid movements on his foes. One jab with his finger in the right spot was all it took to knock them out of the way. The infected began to back off slowly as he headed towards the stairs. Any foolish enough to block him were flung down the stairs with enough force to shatter their spines upon impact with the ground floor. Flames was on the second floor and quickly descending, only receiving the occasional cut or bruise. He was still unaware of the non-infected pair...(edited it to make sense)

"help him!" shouted Alex, forgetting his manners for a moment, and snatching up his shogtun. He ran towards the man down the stairs, firing his shotgun into the cretures, knocking them to the floor. Stamping on the chest of one, he cracked another in the jaw, and fought forwards to the man.

(i am so confuzzled..never mind)) shakes her head and thrust her arm out again, slightly weaker this time as her wings took on a painful strain. and once again th floor cleared of most of the evil tihngs...she stepped over some of the bodies not wanting to look into their face but for some reason always doing it

Alex slung his shotgun on his back, and pulled out his axe. Taking a run up at the nearest infected, he roared, and cleaved it in half, stepping over its fallen body, as he nearly reached the other survivor.
"Get to the roof!" he shouted, cleaving through another infected, but they were closing in.

she sighed and grabbed them both by the collar, she sucked in a great breath then growled slightly as a huge power wacve struck out and the infected was spun away. she unfurled her wngs loudly and ignoredthe pain as she started flapping up to the roof, holding both of them and cringing awy ffrom the pain

Alex was swung up against the newcomer, and took it upon himself to make the introductions.

Alex smiled, but the smile faded, as he heard the infected climbing the stairs. Sprinting to the door, he closed it, and wedged it shut.
"Both of you" he said commandingly. "Head for the mental hospital, use the rope to swing over." A crash sounded as one of the infected threw itself against the door. "And hurry."
He reloaded his shotgun.

"yeah..yeah i`ll go in a minute" she mumbled and curled up on the roof, her eye sight was going again and for some reason her arm was on fire....well it felt like it. curling up was she could do not to scream and hide

"No" he stated, as the door began to buckle. "You'll go now." He looked at the newcomer. "Take her, you need to get out of here. My room is on the top floor, the only new looking door. Theres a friend inside, asleep, he wont give you any trouble." The door was rammed again, and Alex heard the hinges begin to break.
"Please" he begged, looking at the man. "Save her."

she opened her eyes suddenly and couldnt see anything but knew that he was in trouble, she shifted slightly and pointed towards the hings, concentrating deeply she focsued an the hinges, making them push back into place and crack in a way the door would have to be blown to open. she sighed and darkness filtered though her.

"Go!" he shouted, pulling a greande from his pocket. Pulling the pin, he let the door slide open a fraction, and dropped the grenade in. As he released it, a claw sliced his wrist, and he grunted with pain. Jamming a slab of rubble under the door, he started couting, and ran.
"1..." The creatures banged the door.
"2..." The door was forced open a few inches, and a hand poked through.
"3..." The door flew open, as the grenade exploded. Jumping with the blast, he flew into the open window and hit the bottom window frame with a grunt. Pulling himself up, he looked over at the other two, realising he had fallen a floor lowering than he intended.
"The hell you doing over there?" he chuckled. "Come on!" He turned and ran to the stairwell, and begin climbing.

Alex climbed the rope furiosly to reach the top floor. We reached the floor, and looked out the window, to see the other two swining over. He shouldered his rifle, and fired a few shots at the infected following them, pitching them off their feet.
"Move!" he shouted, sprinting back down the corridor to his room, and held the door open for the other two.

she unsure of anything which really annoyed her, she could hear sound and see their movement but couldn`t see ad ran thing, luckily the other two didn`t know this so she would just have to cover this up for now. Now all they had to do was clean up their wounds...

A horde of infected were running toward the commotion, and he took down as many as he could with his rifle. Between his position on the hospital roof, his silencer, and the rain, he was all but invisible. "Zeds moving your way, fellas." he whispered into the radio, mostly out of habit. Chances were no one down there had a radio. Turning back to his shambling cluster of moving targets he nails a straggler in the head, watching a half dozen or so pounce on the scent of fresh blood.

"Good shot!" shouted Alex to Shadow, running to the window. He pulle dout his rifle, and shot some of the creatures throough the chest, spraying blood all over the street. "This is gonna attract a while lot more, but we can wait it out in here. They've never gotten up here." He shot another one, then ran to the corridor, and urged the other to onwards.

Shadow kept up with his diversions, striking the infected in front of the packs to distract as many as he could. Smirking, he lobs a hand grenade near one of the groups feeding, reducing them to an unsightly red pulp.

Wolfgang was in the rafters of his safehouse, sharpening his katana blade, on the alert, weeks ago he came under attack from infected humans and almost broke the blade. He heard a noise from below and he grabbed his .44 magnum next to him and keeps it aimed on the ladder, he activated his enhanced vision and saw something but couldn't make it out. "Who's there, I'm well armed!" yelled Wolfgang. No answer. "WHO'S THERE, ANSWER ME DARN IT!!!" yelled wolfgang. He backed up into a pile of hay and kept his gun aimed at the ladder.

Daisuke took a sip of his energy drink that was sitting next to him.. He heard something.
Daisuke quickly dismantled the sniper rifle and put it in its case. "Zombies." He thought aloud.
"[Sniper Rifle] Added." His P.D.A. chimed. Daisuke quickly took out his Battle Rifle and dug a few firebomb grenades out of their hiding spot. He shoved two barricades in front of the door leading up to the roof... "How the hell did they get up the stairs?"
Daisuke also shoved one barricade in front of him and got strapped a parachute onto his back.
"All set."

The door bursted open, flipping over the barricades. Daisuke's eyes widened and he ducked under my barricade.
"That could've been bad..." Daisuke said cheerily. It was practically his catch phrase...
The zombies slowly climbed over the barricades. Daisuke tossed a firebomb grenade into the pile of zombies and watched them burn...
"Neat." He remarked, sliding his goggles onto his eyes. Daisuke packed up all of his weaponry into his messenger's bag (which was enchanted, allowing an infinite number of things to fit into it) and turned around. He scouted out his surroundings...
"Where's the best place to land? Hmm..." Daisuke spotted a rooftop... It was approximately 100 feet away and 50 feet below him. The armoury was one of the tallest buildings in the city.
"Catch ya later!" He shouted to the zombies in the doorway as he jumped off the roof.

Daisuke disconnected the parachute and fell a few four feet down to a roof below him. He was about three stories up now... the armoury had four stories..
He ducked down and the parachute landed gently on him. It covered the entire building... Daisuke crawled to the edge of the roof and lifted up the chute, then grabbed the edge of the roof and then dropped down to a windowsill. He climbed into the house and took a look around....

"wait there are thousands of zombies, you can't get them all ok, i got an idea, we make a trap, like with hunting turkeys from a stand you put a decoy out and let them come to u, listen we build mabey a place for a zombie food thing and leave it out side and then while they are distracted we can get to the top, and fight our way down" she said pointing to the complex parts, "for bait we can have a cadaver, not eaten by zombies and lock it in a steel cage, one that the zombies can't get through but can see through and smell through" she said feeling bad for what ever we used as bait for a bit "we can build the cage strong enough so the bait should be safe" she said thinking of mabey a dog or large animal for bait, she didn't know though

"i know" ghost said working on the cure, "u were kinda loud, haha and besides, i'm looking over the strains of how the infection works, only a few are immune to the airborn strain, and the blood to blood strain is what i'm working on, i'm trying to find out how to nertralize it to turn it harmless, if i can mabey denature it like how cancer works with regular cells i think we could fix this but, if i worked on this for about another 2 months straight i might finish it" ghost paused "who knows how long it might take for the strain to spread to every one else in the country, so far only this regon (i think i'll have to go back to the op to double check) has been infected" ghost said into the radio "i had to be sure if it was worth it time wise to get the other parts, now i can tell thats the right idea, it might take us a few days to get the other parts, and thats better than a few months" ghost concluded streching her back and yawning "hey we've been probably awake and working for mabey 24 straight hours (remember from the op it's been like one continous day) i think we shpould rest for a bit, just until tomarrow, we'll be fine for one night i think" ghost said

"..." Daisuke hesitated...
"I could help." He offered nervously, afraid of the reply.
"And uh... sure, I'll stay in here for the night."

"ok then welcom abord" ghost said laconic, "u can stay in the lower level" ghost said pointing down, there was no stair way or anything, she always used the window "good luck"

"ill sleep at my base someone needs to defend it for the night" the sas captain (who was standing next to luke all this time) said "we will split up half my squad will protect the perimeter here half of us shall go with the lutenant"

"Alright, then." Daisuke replied, leaning back.

"i figured sense u got up here you can get back down" ghost said pointing to the window while passing him a sleeping bag and pillow

Daisuke stared out the window, "Why do I have to sleep down there, again?"

"cause this is a one room place, and now you get your own room, sides this room gets below freezing at night, i have fire so i'm fine, down lower i have the forge so it's always toasty down there, sides it's only 30 feet above the surface for you" ghost said breathing deep the 70 foot air of the upper level of her home.

"Uhh... I don't see how temperature makes a difference, but okay." Daisuke replied, tying his grappling hook to something and rapelling down with the sleeping bag and the pillow.
He threw the stuff into the room, still rapelling, then climbed back up.

ghost grabbed a few plates (metal) and set them on the table, then throwing a huge chunk of meat on a smooth metal surface. "are you a vegiterian" she asked

"Nope." Daisuke replied casually.
He leaned near the meat and asked, "What kind o' meat is it?"

"it's meat" she said passing him a chunk on a plate, eating her own

"I'm not gonna eat stuff if I don't know what it is..." Daisuke informed Ghost, taking a caramel filled chocolate bar out of his messenger's bag.'
He took out another one and held it out to Ghost. "Want one?" Shane said, taking a bite of his candy bar.

"no thanks" duo said eating her meat and finishing it up, "good night" she said

"You eat fast... Did you even taste the meat?" Daisuke joked curiously.
He had three more quarters of his candy bar to go.

"yes and it was delicious" she said

"Uhkay...." Daisuke said, leaving the candy bar he offered her on the table.
"Just incase you get hungry."

"no thanks" duo said passing it back not hungry, "i've got stuff to do ok, you can do whatever, just clime back up to ure level when ure ready for bed"

Daisuke slid it back and said nothing.
Later....
Daisuke checked his watch... It was about 2 A.M.
He heard a scream.... "Zombies....But how?"

duo stayed in sleep mode.

she had heard the scream to and started from her dream. scared of how close it was. she stepped forwards gently, and jumped back when she saw the oncoming battle of bloody limbs

the motion sensor woke up duo, she jumped out the window and shot at the advancing zombies, they were at the base of the tree, so the ocupants were safe but those not in the tree, like maxi and luke were introuble (unless u want back to his securety bace)

she woke up with a gasp s she heard the scream of something dangerously close...she scrambled and pounced onto Luke, shaking and burrowing her face int his chest as she saw the clawed hand crack upwards. she screamed slightly and searched for something to hit it with

luke was also woken by the scream and was surprised to see maxicling onto her "stay back" he said calmly like this was a normal day to him1 he ran towards the zombies and stopped just 10 yards away from them he then let rip a flurry of bullets from his machine gun however the infected started getting too close and eventually he was beating them away with the trigger end of the gun he did unfortunatly get bitten2 he ran back towards the tree house but tripped on the way back however couldnt get up again due to the bite in his arm and so he sat up drew his pistol3 and started gunning the infected down hoping the others would soon help
1 it technically was due to the recent string of events
2 he was bitten in the right arm and bleeding alot
3 may i just point out he used his left arm for this

trowa landed next to luke, she rolled as she landed and lifted her gun and mozed down the infected closest to luke and her, she tossed a flash bang gernade at them and turned around and grabbed luke, and ran to the tree house she got there and pulled the zip cord and flew up as counter weights worked and pulled her up, she landed at the top and ste luke down, she looked out the window for maxi. she tossed a first aid kit to luke and jumped out again to look for maxi, reloading her gun in mid air

she cried out as she saw the flash and tried to close her eyes, but it was to late, and she felt claws against her chest asshe bumped heavily into something, they raked down her arms and she screamed thumping it away, and blindly stumbiling for a gun or something, she reached a weapon and concentrated heavily, closing ehr eyes as she sent out a force field, dientergrating anything in its path

trowa landed and ran to maxi, but stopped short of the force feild, she spun around rakng zombies with her claws "maxi let down the sheild, let it down!" she shouted clearing zombies away from the force feild

"what..." she mumbled, then as she felt the last of her strength give, she clicked it off and swallowed asthe zomnbies folded inwards

jumped tward maxi, live a diver, sliped her blades between the zombies and slashed them aside, she grabbed maxi and ran to the tree house jumping over zombies, trying to fire with one hand but ultimatly getting hacked and slashed, she was beated and oily by the time she pulled the zip cord and flew up with maxi, she landed and dropped maxi on the bed naxt to luke and turned the auto defense grid up, held togeather with duct tape it worked and pressed the zombis back, she sighed and tokked another first aid kit to maxi and started fixing her self up "that was close" she weezed one of the zombies got a shot into her ribs

"are you ..o...okI" she sniffled slightly, finishing up on her arms and chest, smiling wobbily

"i think were all fine despite a few injuries still close isnt the word for that" luke said1 spitting up a little blood "do me a favor if i become infected kill me on the spot" luke continued finishing up his bandages
1 the way he said it he sounded like an experianced war captain still he did have a massive bite mark in his right arm

"pisft" trowa sais, he mad at her while she go out he sit up here and not give covor fire. she fixed up her arm and ribs, she stood up and took over manulely the turret taking out zombies that got close enough, in the tree they were safe but less zombies here, the less they had to fight.

luke walked over to maxi "you ok?" he said with a little worry in his voice

she snuffles lightly and leaned into his chest "i will be...you" she asked snuggling lightly

"im not sure... i feel fine but i was bitten by one of the infected so...anything could happen"he said this sentence glumly even though he felt fine "but still dont worry about me i can still fight" he continued cheering up a bit now "i swear i will protect you whenever you need me"

trowa gets off of the tuirret and sets up another mini room, sectined off from the other part of her loft, she set up a cot in there, and threw a few blankets on it. then she set up another cot next to the stove and threw some blankets on that "wolfy u get the mini room for tonight" trowa said starting up the stove to make dinner

"mini room?" luke said curiously "ya mean like a mini bus but a room?"

trowa just points to the little sectoned off part of her loft, she didn't feel like making him climb down the ladder into the lower sewction

luke gave a small mock salute with his left arm and walked off into the room "by the way im gonna lock the door just in case i do become one of them"he said poking his head out of the door

"ok then" trowa said cooking up some scrap, finishing 3 plates of it she passed one to luke "dinner time dude"

"great! im so hungry id eat anything right now" luke said setting down his machine gun in the mini room

looks up with big eyes, eeps and scrabbles around the side giggiling and looking around Trowa care fully "a..anything"
