rp beyond the games

You're all traveling in space aboard a ship called the U.S.S. Wisdom. You're orbiting a planet named Gargantua. it's a swampy planet filled with..well..swamps and swamp creatures and plants...with an alien race known as Frogons...
You've lost contact with any kind of life for threee weeks and you're all starting to feel insomniac set in. there's some food but not much...

~his ear twitched and pointed in the direction in which he could hear someone yelling his name...he turned around and saw Krystal running~

ish walking when she hears voices, she tries to run towards them but falls into a huge swamp"agh"she shrieks. it was starting to pull her under.

*Turns as I hear a shriek of terror*
* realise it's Maximum beng sucked into a swamp!*
Maximum!
*I rush over to help her and just manage to pull her out...*

"hugs dessum close to her"oh thank you so much, that was waaaaay to close for comfort, hay" and try a weak smile

*I help her limp towards our destination*

"well lets just say i can see it balloning up, but i dont want to look at it anymore because it feels huge"leans a tiny bit on him, not wanting to put to much weight on him.

Thumping of what sounded like two large people running reached Max and Dessum's ears

Uh oh..
That didn;t sound so good...
We need to get help for yor ankle...
Any ideas?
But for now, lets head towards those voices...

((LARGE)) tries to keep up with deesum but her ankle hurts to much, so she collapses to the floor cradiling her ankle and cursing it

Maximum!
*I think for a moment*
I think we should head towards those voices.... but away from that...thumping
*I pick her up and cradle her, like a new born furr*
*I continue walking with her in my arms...*
*I spot Fox and Krystal*
Fox, Krystal!
*I look at Maximum*
She's hurt her ankle badly, can you help?

Out of the mist two roughly 9 ft robots with a large yellow eye on thier head saw Des and Max, but not Fox or Krystal.

Woa! *I yell*
We've got to get out of here!
*I start running with Maximum, not sure where to go, I panic and leave Fox and Krystal behind,
not realising the robots cant see them*

me fight them no way!

"Well I sure don't have anything...wait...ack at the ship...I've got a mounted plasma cannon..."

~he ran back to the ship and boarded the buggy with the mounted plasma cannon~ "alright you take he cannon I'll drive"

*I keep panicking with maximum in my arms, I keep running,
I am out of breath but I keep trying toput as muchdistance between me and the Robots*

gets in the buggy :yeah-yeah:

*As before*

~he dove owards the robot as Krystal fired he cannon~

The robots saw the rapidly approaching buggy and one's eye started to glow red, but was hit full blast in the chest shortly thereafter and flew back several yards.

*Suddenly notices the commotion and hides behind the ship with maximum still in my arms,
unseen to all*

~he continud heading towards the robot at full speed dodging various rocks and trees~

*i fire the plasma cannon again aiming for the robots leg joints and head*

*Whimpers, cowwering behind the ship, wishing I had a weapon of some sort...
I feel so helpless...*

The remaining robot has his head blown off and his body haphazardly stumbles around looking for it, until it gets run over.

*Slowly emegas from behind the ship*
Woa! That was close! *I turn to Krystal and Fox*
Thanks guys, but next time, give me a blaster or somthing! *I am still holding maximum*

curls her tail around his arm and nuzzles deep into his shirt desperatly trying not to fall into unconciousness

*clenches her eyes shut as another wave of nausa and pain flooded over her making her feel faint, and stuggled closer into Dessum dsperately trying to get ride of the pain.

*Looks a lot more depressed a Fox and Krystal*

*I look back at Maximum and smile weakly, trying to make her feel a bit better*

*sighs and falls into a deep sleep while still clingnig desperatly to him*
"dont let me fall" she whispered

*I do a sort of whimper and growl,scared for Maximum, and angry at Fox and Krstal for not taking
notice*
*I grunt a little, my arms aching*
Of for...
*Rushes into the ship and sees a table*
*With great care, I lay the unconcious Maximum onto the table and rush away to find
some sort of first ais kit...I do*
*I rush back, and stab an epi-pen (Adrenaline syringe) into Maximum's leg to brng her back*
*I get out som bandages and cleaning liquid*
Maximum?
Can you hear me?
*I start to gingerly wash the wound with water, then dab the special dis-infectant
using tissue onto it*
*I then start to carefully wrap a special type of tissue around it (that speciall stuff for cuts etc) to
stop more infection and the flow of blood*

( ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont stab with a flippin epi pen ive already done that and eneded up in hospital, it was in school as well feel free to ask ss or dizzy but theyd probably fall about laughing)) starts to mumble and shake because of the sdrenaaline

(My dad's allergic to bees and wasps, he got stung an ad to use an epi-pen whilst he as air lifted to hospitol)

~he slid the buggy to a stop and stared at the Robot...He got out of the buggy and searched the area for any kind of disc or "black box" that might have had some info they needed on it...~

clenshes her fists and then realises that ther was something inthem, thats right shed grabbed something in the swamp, she tried to adjuste herself to see what was in her hand but her ankle was throobing too much so she just nudged Dessum and leant her head against his chest for support

~he finds a small disc partly burnt but seems salvagable and pockets it and head back to the buggy to get back to the ship~

Fox! *I gasp, slightly angry*
Where've you been? *I point to maximum* Look at her!
She's not ok! All I could do was put some disinfectent on her ankle and bandage it,
but it's still swelling pretty bad...Anything we can do?
*I notice the starnge looking disk in his hand* And whats that thing?
*I dab Maximums forehead with a cooling piece of damp cloth*

((I would say Falco, but you're a girl (if you don't have a problem with playing as a guy thats ok). Maxi and Dess don't play anyone specifically, you could be some unmentioned side character, but you take an active role in this RP))

"I was scavanging for anything that could be useful from the robot..." ~he raised his paw with the disc~ "Oh this? It's classified..." ~He looked to Maxi and examined the wound~ "hmm take her to the medical wing of my ship...the doctors and nurses would gladly help you there...it's on M-5 deck..." he said walking back to his quarters putting the disc on his desk and sitting in his chair
(Hmm we could use a slippy...heck any character you wanna be is up.except for fox of course xD as well the role for Krystal is available now i'd think...considering my ex mate "Krystal" only came on to the forums because i did...so that role is up too...because she doesn't come on anymore. (she hates me right now but meh not really caring after what i found out about her)))

((This'll be way out of my usual character, but I think I'll try for Wolf O'Donnell.))
"Meh, Leon and Panther are a handful these days..." Wolf was preparing for entry onto a planet he picked up a distress beacon from. "It would figure that they might've gotten gotten themselves into trouble." Adjusting the angle for proper atmospheric entry on the controls of his modified Wolfen (or if you have played the most recent one, the Red Fang), he begins changing the thruster controls to allow himself to land vertically on a patch of wet grassland, keeping an eye on the radar Heads-Up Display. "The area's too thick to go in starcraft... I'll have to venture on foot." He pops open the canopy and hops out, having a strange swordhilt-like device on one side and a blaster pistol on the other side.

~Fox shoved the crystals deeper into his pocket and took the disc off his desk. He got up and went off to the examination room...Reaching the examination room he slide a keycard in a keypad then entered a few digits and the door slid into the ceiling...he flicked on the lights and sat at a desk with a type of holding device on it...he placed the disc inside of it and hooked a couple wires to the ports on it...he sat in the desk a pulled up a computer. and began running the diagnostics on the disc to see what if anything was on it...~

~he let the computer run the diagnostics which was going to take a few hours to do...in the mean time he pulled out the crystals that Maxi had shoved in his pocket earlier and looked at it per curiously...~

"Strange... when I landed, I saw a familiar IFF (Identify-Friend-or-Foe) code from the beacon. I just don't remember whose it was though..." He was pushing treelimbs out of the way as he walked about.

Still grumbling as he walked through the foliage and wetlands, he let his hand stray to the swordhilt-like device on his belt. But after a conscious thought of where he might be, Wolf moved his hand away from the device and pressed on. "There's no telling on who might pick up such an energy signature from here. Might as well make myself known as little as possible while here."

in her dreams she could see someone moving about in the forest. he seemed shifty and was deffinitely there for a puirpose. she wanted to shout out to him but for some reason he just ignored her.

"Having a bounty on your head is a problem by itself... having to look for the rest of your team in a forsaken jungle planet makes things worse." He pushed a final limb aside and noticed a craft with a familiar emblem on it. "Star Fox, so that's whose distress beacon I picked up. I hope it's that arrogant bird that went down." He almost smiled as he stayed hidden trying to see if he can find out who was the one that had crashed.

~Fox put the crystal down and looked at the computer screen...there was lines of data going down the screen reading each part of the disc.then the 'scan' stopped dead in it's tracks~
"...seems there is something of usefulness on this disc after all...seems that there's information on the origin of that robot...but it's encrypted...this'll take longer then I thought it would..." said Fox as he started decrypting the information...

((I think I'm watching you Hedgers.)) His ear flicks to the sounds of the voices. "So that pup's here. He's too good to have crashed here... but I wonder why he's here." He lets his eyes wander around the area.

"Now...I wonder where those other two strangers are...I don't even know ho they are or even why they were near that robot when it attacked...better keep an ear perked and eye open on them two..." he said walking the halls of his ship to the kitchen to fix something t eat

((the crystals have powers each different for each of us, for whoever it decides to choose hedges))stirs in her sleep but keeps a close eye on the guy who was watching someone or something when suddenly she saw a ship, it was our same one uh oh she had to warn fox...but first she had to wake up.

He just simply watched the ongoing situation, noticing that Fox was just fixing food. "Geh, it serves no purpose to attack him right now. I'd rather it be a fair and honest fight." He moves himself completely behind the tree and begins pulling out rations from one of the pockets on himself, eating on them. "K rations... man, have I stooped so low into eating these."

she watched as he started eating what was he waiting for, then a sudden thought came to her. she closed her eyes and concenttreated hard when she opened them she was staring up at dessum confused face, she winced at her stifness and tried to get his attention.

"I hope that pup has that staff I've heard so many rumors about, because once he's through eating, I'll be fighting him." He muttered to himself as he continued eating, taking out a water pack to drink from due to the dryness of the rations.

blunders outside into the open air and staggers over to where she thought she had seen that fur. she scaled the tree and swung upside down lookin gout for him. and there he was sitting a few yards away. idiot she thought and wondered if she shoulf fie some nuts st him.

Wolf was now within visible range of his Red Fang Wolfen, pressing a remote-controlled canopy open and start-up sequence for it as he was sprinting. "C'mon, c'mon... if those alarms haven't already been activated, they will be going off now." He pulled the sword-hilt-like device off of his belt, activating it to show a white plasma blade and slashed his way through the foliage to speed up his escape. "I've no time to be enviromentally-friendly."

As the canopy was open, Wolf does a somersault-flip ito the pilot's seat, and quickly closes the cockpit. "Let's get the heck out of here... Panther and Leon didn't come here." His own Red Wolf AI kicks in with an "Affirmative" and the ship begins escape velocity preparations.

*Sprints back and hands a small bucket to her*

Lays maxi down on a bed and places the bucket close to her before getting a cloth, folding it into a rectangle, damping it with cold water and placing it on maxi's fore head

Is getting sickness tablets out of the medi cabinet and placing them on little table next to the bed maxi is led on and a bottle of water.
"Right, now back to what you said. Did she say anything as to what this fur looks like?"
Stands in front of him also facing him, now and again looking at maxi.

~he finished up the diagnostics on the disc and scribbled down some information and co-ordinates....~ "SO...seems Andross or one of his allies...is after my team and I again..." he quickly finished wrigin down some info and put the round device in lock-up and ran to the cockpit of the ship and set the co-orinates by the ships computer then walked outside~ "hmm...thought I heard someone out here..."

He begins setting up for the fastest possible "window" for exiting the atmosphere, but in doing so his movements could easily be tracked by anyone close enough to read vapor and energy trails. "I don't have time to be messing around if those two idiots can't be found. I'll play with that Pup later as I've got my own work to do."

Leon and Panther couldn't have gone too far." He takes the plasma saber off of his belt and places it in a charger base on his right side, and the blaster on a charger on his left side. "What is up with that Pup though... I thought he'd have gone after me, seeing as there's a high bounty on my head."

He wakes up to see the location what had woke him, remembering where he had found Fox. "I think I waited long enough." He begins starting up other instruments and manipulating the controls, sending out a focused encryption-protected hail transmission to the Great Fox.

"Not in any wetlands... I just had a new paint-job done to my Red Fang and I'm not wanting to get it messed up. Maybe in the open field about a half-click South of your position? And do bring any weapons you please, though I'd choose carefully as strength or heavier weaponry is not always the key to winning a battle." He closes the comm channnel and prepares for re-entry by firing the thrusters and adjusting his angle to allow himself to enter the atmosphere without a problem.

"Grrr..." was the only audible thing from him as it was replaced by static caused by re-entry air friction. He was having a bit of difficulty as he did not go through the anticipated air "window" that would have made it much easier to go into planetary orbit and entry due to the decreased air density.

They're starting to catch residual energy signatures." He lands the Red Wolf, then opens the canopy as he picks up his blaster and plasma saber from their respective places before hopping out and closing the canopy.

This time he just fired a shot right back to cancel out Foxes blaster shot, only to turn around just in time to avoid being split in half from Dessum's attempt.

she decided to concentrate really hhard, clsing her eyes and concentrated on the boulder up just ahead. when she felt ready enough she started lifting it into the air and moving it towards his ship, so he would have no means of escape.

"You destroyed my Red Fang!" Taking a marksman's stance while preparing to fire, his attention was solely on the female telekinetic.

He finishes the diagnostics, realizing of the situation with the ion-directionalizer in both engines, he picks up the stellar-communication device and connects it to the power supply, transmitting on various wavelengths, subspace and normal, to reach his mobile base. "This is Wolf O'Donnell, the Red Fang has taken damage into the ion-directionalizer and cannot take-off." He records the message and sends it in a databurst loop so that it consumes minimal energy and yet gets the message out on the selected wavelengths.

The robot was unexpectedly hurled away from the ship, knowing no means of propulsion in his form other than his, now useless, limbs he transformed back into the ship blasted back towards the ship, transformed, and began his assault once again, undeterred.

"Odd, now why would he be using that..." he muttered as he started to catch more than just one ship on his sensor array. "Well, looks like he has an unwelcome guest trying to board his ship." Placing his thrusters from high-cruise speeds to just below overheating limits, he set his ship to assault mode by opening the wings (which exposed the plasma cannons) and started in preparing a lock-on shot to Fox's unwelcome guest.

He flips up a specialized HUD right-eye visor slightly guiding the aim of the camera-aimed rear-cannon in small increments with a slight twitch of his head as he was watching a cursor line up with the target tailing himself. "Just a few more meters..." he thought out-loud.

~he got up rubbing his head hearing Dessum he went to a wall with a door on it ajar...he ripped it off it's hinges and grabbed a scanner...the ships instruments were all either destroyed or nearly impossible to use...he put on a heavy jacket and went outside to get a clear signal for any signs of life on the planet...the scanner made periodical beeps signalling the scanner was working...he walked in the direction of Dessum with the scanner lookign at the screen...he noticed a few small heat signatures they didn't give off much...Fox thoguht they might have been creatures of some sort...~ "Dessum! there's a few signatures North North East of our location...they're only small though...but it's worth a try.."

"hmmmm"she groggily became aware of where she was. lookiong around suddenly she noticed they`d had abit of a crash and a noise was emitting from underneath her. she slithered of, due to her bleeding ankle and started searching for the person underneath

*Sees Maxi searching* Oh, he's in there right?

"Oh he`s called Wolften" she smiled as she gently pulled him out and onto a rock filled ground again "so....whats you doing here" she asked with a hint of smile

"oki dokily" struggle to stand up and roll down hill of rubbel, then stands and looks about embarassed slightly

Wrap up warm Maxi, and do we have any of those heat pack things?

yes actuaslly do we have anything warm here...i...im freezing" she rubbed her paws against her shoulders to get some warmth while leaning against shadow slightly "sorry...are you ok" she asked((havent heard from you in ages?))

*Checks the first aid kit, or whats left of it* Oh wait...*Grabs some heat pads, protected in thin air proof plastic and throws one at Max, Shadow, and wolften, then puts the spare few in my pocket incase* Open em' straight away, they'll heat up when they react with the oxygen in the air,
*I turn to Wolften and Maxi* Is Wolften ok? Nothing broken or anything?

i should think so" she smiled cheekily and opened it up after running up p and cheking up on him

Yea..let's hurry this up..I don't wanna be caught out here...especially as we're sitting now..no ship" he said looking at he scanner "hmm..they seem to be moving at a rather slow pace.."

*Nods at Shadow* OK, we'd better get moving, *Glances at the position of theheat signitures once more then flings open the door as a blast of cold wind hits the ship, I stagger uotside and start to move slowly through the snow*

luke crawled through the snow exausted and hungry his energy being sucked into the snow as he finally gave up and fell unconcious

she tore after dessum, catching up quickly slipping her arm arond his. "wait up will you, not as...fast...as i ..youse to be" she stammered from the cold stopping abruptly as she noticed a form in the snow just before them "oh...darn"

What is it? *I shout over the loud howl of wind and snow*
Oh...*Crouches beside the unconcious figure*
We have to get them back to the ship!

"duh...you dont say" she giggled, her teeth chattering and tried to lift the guy up gently

*I gingerly lift his freezing body and carry him back to the ship*
We need to revive him and ask if he knows a repair port nearby,

*looksh at dessum* ":O...you can do that im sure...ill get the warm blankets and start some warm cocoa"

luke saw a white light fill his vision he thought he was dead but then he smelt something so he (not knowing if he was alive) asked weirily "...is that cocoa or am i in heaven"

Oh, thank god, he's waking up,
where did you get cocoa anyway? Didnt know we had any on board *Flashes a quick smile at Maxi before looking
towards the stranger*

"man..." he said sitting up rubbing his head "im glad you were there i got lost in a blizzard looking for the toilet"

Our ship crashed and the radar told us there was a repairing station here...
Is there any sort of base around here?

"yeah but its around 20 miles away from here..."luke suddenly seemed in deep thought "also theres alot of dangerous creatureson the route"

We'll look at the creatures later on, but for now we need to work out how to go 20 miles...
We certainly cant trek it...

"no there are no sheep out there" luke said facing dessum and shrugging his shoulders he picked maxi up and put her down in a cabin walked out and closed the door "i think we'd better leave her" he said turning to dessum

"ooow" she woke up, feeling a dart in the back of her neck" what the..." she stopped mid way she she saw out the window, an advance of troops of something?

luke dragged wolften away from the door and checked out his face "you alright?" he said moving wolftens hands away from his face

(If you don't understand the story, I suggest going back a few pages and reading. But in a nutshell we crashed here for repairs becuase it was the closest planet
that had a repair station (According to our scanner) and now we're heading there on the planet's frozen, barran waste land)

Lets head to where the heat signitures where!
*Tucking my sword into my belt and carrying on*

Only use the swords and plasma pistols though, we might need the heavier stuff later on... And for goodness
sake put somthing warm on! If we get caught in a blizzard you could freeze to death.

luke moved his head alongside dessums arm and tried to focus here he was pointing and eventually said "i think i do..."

duo walked to the bridge, the fox on watch had spotted 2 life forms moving twad the base, she looked out and saw them almost invisible on the white of the snow. "XO shepard has the deck" she said putting on a thermal suit and grabbing a blaster, she did have blasters in her arms, but they wouldn't help from inside the suit. "jinkens, willams" duo said standing near the bridge
"sir" they said running up ech in there own thermal suit, a bvlaster at each of there backs
"willams bring the mako out" duo said as the shiba inu ran away, the siberian huskey jinkens stood at attention as the 6 wheeled mako drove up. duo hopped onto the side and hung on as willams drove out with jinkens en the turret position. "lets see who would be out in the snow"

she frowned racing up o he others and tapping dessum on his shoulder "er.. hink we have company, somethng don feeal rght" she whispered slightly, whle wrapping her tail around her legs and puffnhg out some air

the 6 whelled veichle stopped aqbout 30 yards from the wolf and the other life forms on her scanner, trowa hopped off the mako and called out "who are you?"

"i am luke a few freinds of mine need repairs to their ship im sure theres good money in it" luke said in a diplomatic way

"ahh i understand" trowa shouted "i run the ship repair station just a ways away, we'll be happy to help and such, would you and your friends like a lift?" she asked as the shiba inu in the mako hissed "we don't know if there friendly" trowa leaned in and wispered to her "williams were soldiers, we have weapons, and training, i'll keep an eye on them sides, if they are who they say they are there in need of a lift" she smiled and looked back at the wolf "come on" she shouted to be heard by the wolf 30 yards away.

*I then get up and give Luke back his weapons*

trowa looked at the 2 in the snow, there scanner picked up a third, she called out "hey where's your other friend" she asked the scannerhad shown up 3 lifeforms. she shook her head and asked willams "drive the mako up, they look like they have been walking in the cold for a while she said as the eight wheeled veichle closed the distance between the 2 groups, trowa hopped down "thats better" she said to the wolf in a normal voice "hello i'm trowa titan" she said holding out her hand "you'll have to excuse the soldiers, we've had a bit of trouble with piarets this week, they sent me over to take charge, of the station and the spare troops there" she said with a face of discust, she was strong and fast and saw no reason to be stationed up here where nothing happened. but like every one else in the forces they didn;t ask many questions

luke nodded at dessum then turned to the band of soldiers "pleased to meet ya im luke" he said shaking hands with trowa "it seems we have a common enemy i was robbed and left to die out here if it wasnt for these guys i wouldnt be here" luke then climbed into the vehicle

We have friends back at our crash site and we landed in hope you could hope us becuase our scanners indicated you had a repair station...

We just need a couple of repair robots, if not, we need some guys to come have a look at it.

Bad, *I shake my head grimly* All the rector engines are broken, and the sub-dermal mainfraim (ie all our equipment and the inside of the ship APART from our scanner) is trashed. Its gonna be hard to fix, but I think its possible. Better than having to buy a new ship altogether...
