Title: Peaky Blinders Discussion
Post by: AceAurora on April 27, 2018, 04:23:55 AM
I recently started watching the tv show Peaky Blinders and wanted to talk with people about it. Also I recommend it if you're into 1920's England, the IRA, and/or the Russian Revolution.

So far I have finished Episode on and must say that it is very addicting. Just seeing how Tommy is portrayed and how the gang operates if pretty cool!

Quick Synopsis in the spoiler
A gangster family epic set in 1919 Birmingham, England and centered on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby, who means to move up in the world.

Wow, this does sound pretty interesting. I haven't heard of too many shows about the IRA.

Yeah! That's one reason I wanted to watch it. Most shows portray the IRA as this horrible group from day one when really they just wanted to be free of England.
