Howldy Furriends! I'm this forum's new resident [removed] hippie mutt! I've been poking around a handful of furry forums since my old stomping grounds kind of petered out in terms of activity and I began to miss the forum format a little bit. Shame it seems to be going out of style these days.
There's a lot to get to know about me, but I suppose I'll just start with the basics. I'm Matty the hippie mutt dog. I'm 23, and I've been an avid member of the fandom for the better part of a decade. At the age of 19 I was able to attend my first con, and I've gone to at least one annually since then, I absolutely adore them. I consider myself to be an extremely friendly and approachable fella and I'm willing to talk out any conflict with anybody who approaches me genuinely and in good faith, regardless of their background or beliefs...with the caveat that those beliefs don't incite hatred or harm against others of course.
I adore participating in most creative activities like music, drawing, and writing (although how good I am at any of these things is certainly up for debate uwu), and I'm particularly interested in discussion centered around the fandom, SSBM, music, occasionally politics (limited for my own sanity), the psychology of gender gender/sexuality/[removed]/mental illness, and science, among other things.
I haven't even browsed this forum at all beyond checking to see if it was relatively active still, and so I really have no idea what to expect, and can only hope to find a community of open minded, interesting, and creative furs to explore and find my own place in~

This forum is definitely active, so you chose well. You seem like a reasonable and friendly person, I'm looking forward to talking with you more! (I definitely recommend some of the forum games threads for that :P)

Thank you sweet pea! I am excited to dig my paws into it and get to know the community, I've really missed this oldschool discussion board biz. It's kinda how I grew up talking to furs.
