Title: Fluff n' Scales Clubhouse

Nodding to Wilco while pawing playfully at the pup "I assume you are the proprietor here? Do you have any coffee?"

"While we're waiting for that milkshake to complete, here's a glass of water Mr. Paws." *The wolf dragon hands the wolf a crystal glass of water with spherical cuts of ice inside*

sits on haunches and extends a forepaw, the feathering of fur extending down the leg, nearly hiding the large wolf paw...

After shaking paws turns and rummages thru my pack and finds a medium size sauce pan with a chewed up wooden handle, pulls it out and sets in on the floor

"If you'd kindly put the water in this I can carry it myself...have to find ways to cope when you don't have thumbs" ;)

digs thru my pack with my nose and finally pulls out a stuffed wolf almost as big as little Wilco. As I set it down next to the pup I nip one ear lightly and it starts to hum and the eyes light up in a soft yellow glow.

I look up to Wilco "Sleeper wolf... something I had made a while back. the sound is 'white noise', it warms up, and the glow from the eyes give enough light to fell secure in the dark...."

I nudge it against the pup, then lean my neck against it myself... I relax noticeably as I lay my head down.

The wolf dragon finishes mixing the drink and brings Wilco an aluminum cup filled with the brew, a metal spoon, and a straw. "That outta quench your thirst!" The wolf dragon flies upward with a duster, cleaning cobwebs off the chandelier on the ceiling.

Post by: Michen_S on April 29, 2018, 08:49:39 PM: Being curious, but also kinda nervous about the entire thing, Michen tried to step into the clubhouse to have a peek around as quietly as possible. Of course, naturally being fairly silent and with a lot of fur on their paws, the being quiet part went pretty well. However, the feral snow leopard was well aware they weren't camouflaged and would be spotted quickly if someone looked into their direction.

Looking around at who was talking to them, the snow leopard couldn't help but feel like the faces of the people here were somehow familiar to them...

A strange fog that leads to another universe briefly appears at the entrance, where Jason Walker walks out of. Looking around the place, he groans, before turning towards where the Fog used to be.

"Son of a... this ain't even CLOSE to the right place!" he complains to the Fog, before sighing, and making his way over to a table to relax.

"Well, might as well rest while I'm here..." he would say, sliding his Hiking Bag down next to his chair. Odds are, perhaps this place isn't that bad... most of the locals seem friendly enough.

The wolgon stops suddenly to see a strange fog pouring through the entrance to the clubhouse. "What the heck?" The wolf dragon notices a man that walks out of the mysterious fog and sits at a table. "I wonder what he's going to do next?"

"You shouldn't bark at strangers, kid. Someone might take it the wrong way." he would comment, before looking towards Wilco.

"Hey, buddy, this your kid over here? Mind calling 'em back over there?" he asks. While his eyes would be focused on Wilco, his ears are wide open, as if anticipating anything at this point from all around, should anyone try approaching him.

He then turns towards Wilco and raises a confused eyebrow. "Uh, excuse me? How is it considered 'mean' to let a kid know when they might be doing something dangerous, or ask a parent to call their child back? Do you even realize how dangerous the things in my bag can be? Excuse me for keeping your son from potentially blowing his brains out, or setting this place on fire! Seriously, I have weapon parts in this thing, and if you guys have half-demons that wander around, there's even Holy Water, Silver, and Acadia Wood!"

With a sigh, he pinches the bridge of his nose and looks down at the table. "Sorry... been a long day, and haven't been able to get back home in a while... can I just have some water, please?"

Post by: Michen_S on May 02, 2018, 10:21:09 PM: The snow leopard calmly walked around to explore the place a little bit, but tried to keep the main attention away from them. Despite the fact that this place wasn't crowded yet, there was still... something... that made them feel a little uneasy. During the walk, they carefully looked around for anything beautiful that interested them. And what would especially interest them would be any artwork around the place.

"Do you realize what dangerous things are in MY bag, and under my fur, hooman? I carry the weight of the world, the sins of the future, and some things that are most definitely best left unnamed. BUT, rather than coming in set in a defensive position I control my possessions, rather than them controlling me and how I react to the innocent ones."

Pads closer, no threat implied in motions or voice.

"This is a calm place, a place to relax, and your presence, so far, has taken some of that away. 'I' would appreciate it very much if you let the energies here return to their natural calmness again."

Sits on haunches across the table from the hooman and hums softly, the feathers dangling from my left ear seam to still in the breeze fluttering gently.

This was a bit of a bummer for the feral, but they well knew they wouldn't be able to do much about the situation. What did they come here for in the first place, actually?

"Yeah, yeah. And I've got the weight of SEVERAL worlds on my shoulders. I protect the innocent, and won't let a child get too close to my weapons. Doesn't matter if they get pissed at me or not." He then shrugged his shoulders and added, "So I guess you're welcome?"

He then turned towards the wolfgon and nodded his head. "Thanks... and for what it's worth, I ain't even here to cause trouble. The damn Fog dragged me here without any time to react. Or at least they assumed he was looking at them. Guess their presence didn't go completely unnoticed, then. "Um, I was just kinda looking around..." the feral replied. However, now that Michen's paw was in the wolf's, the bandage on the feral's right paw was clearly visible.

They had already noticed that there was ANOTHER feral who was now also trying to mingle themselves into this discussion, as they heard the wolf talking. When they looked at the wolf's body it seemed to be surrounded by an air that was both calming and fear-inducing at the same time. The snow leopard put their paw back on the ground, but did not seem to be in any kind of pain whatsoever. "No, I'm fine." To be honest, they didn't quite feel fine, but that was just due to them being under stress right now.

They had their ears folded backwards and they lowered their body to show submission to the other. The snow leopard might be protected from all curses, shielded by an entity that wasn't them, but they weren't protected from other kinds of magic. Also, the bandage was simply for leg support, so it really wasn't necessary for others to have it looked at. Misunderstanding in body language might've also played a role in this, as Michen tended to interpret it in the wrong way in a lot of conversations.

They felt conflicted about the situation they were in, but decided it might be better to stick to their plans for now. Having no other business here, in a place that attracted some strange types, they turned around and headed for the exit.
