Do you have or had one of those games that you just got hooked on? Those games that you just find so hard to put down or just tend to think about getting to play it later as you are away from home or busy. The ones you would consider yourself to be somewhat “ addicited “ to. Well free to post any of those that did that for you, whether it is one from the past that you no longer play or one that you are actively playing. ^_^
For me, I am currently exteremly hooked on Vrchat, to the point where I even got a Vrhead set as a result which just made it even more harder for me to put down. X3 I just find it so fun to explore and meet all the different kinds of people on there, it is just loads of fun.

Factorio.
Sometimes I pick it up and lose 50 hours.
I'm not joking.
There are some other games I've played a lot like Diablo or lol or more recently hots, but it's never been "hey I wanna play this! And it's 10 hours later. Guess I'll come back tomorrow" *repeat*

at times I still plan an old game I used to love and play a lot, which is Driver 2, and original Metal Gear Solid

i am addicted to mario Odyssey to the point when i finished it 100% i do it again and sometimes challenge myself with defeating the game without collecting any coins

Team Fortress 2...
Been playing that game with friends for a long time, and almost have 1400 hours in that game...
It's a game that keeps on giving! :P
Besides that, there's elite too. I've gotten almost 950 hours in that game.
I've got no idea what's soo fun about a space grinding simulator, but for some reason I really enjoy it...

Team fortress two was a game that I loved so much that I even spent over $60 in cosmetics and all. And even to this day I play it. Sure not as often, not nearly as often. But with 740+ hours into it, and no other game holds that record unless I start combining like seven games xD But as of now... ummm the only game I was recently addicted too was Dark Souls 3 But that was over five months ago cx

That is true Bricket, I nice I get home will have some fun on SimCity 4, figured out what my problem was that kept game crashing on me before I even started

I get addicted to RPGs super easily, especially ones that have lots to explore or have great stories.
Most notable ones for me are Fallout 3 and 4, Oblivion, The Witcher 3, FFXV, and Persona 3-5.

I thought about it again today and I do remember being pretty addicted to Sim City 2000, Pineball XP, Solitaire, Neopets, and Madness Interactive.

A game that I’m addicted to? that I can’t put down? Final Fantasy IX, I played it for the first time 3 years ago and I’ve played it near constantly since. Call me obsessed but this game has become very personal and I hold it very close to my heart. But that aside I have, in the three years, amassed a collection of just ffix merch (what little there is that I can actually afford, suck as a shirt, a plush, a charm, and a tiny figure), including, two copies of the ps1 release, the IOS release, the steam release, and the PS4 release.
But the story, the characters, I fell in love within the first 5 minutes of playing. I could go on for days but then this reply would be forever long and I would just dive into how Kuja is the best written ff villain and you can’t tell me no

I played the Testpunch this weekend and, my god, do I need that game.

For the longest time I was addicted to playing Car Mechanic Simulator 2018. I had 50 some odd hours devoted to it. It was just relaxing to work on a virtual car where screwing up wasn't as bad as it is in real life.

I was really drawn to Age of Mythology recently. However, whenever I try to play through it, it begins to bore very quickly, then I start wondering why I don't just get back to writing.
One board game I've found particularly alluring lately is the Andy Griffith trivial pursuit. The questions are hilariously obscure, even for me, and I was raised on Andy Griffith.
If I'm going to play a game, it's gotta be something I can get in and out of quickly, although as of late, I've simply downloaded a game only to delete it an hour later for fear of becoming addicted.

I was addicted to minecraft back in alpha/beta.
That's partly because I was on this multiplayer server and lots of stuff happened, on weekends I would sometimes play 12 hours a day! But I made some of the closest friends from it including my current mate.
