Logitech MK710. Found it while going through the trash at my dad's old workplace, and despite being switched on at the time, it's run for over a year without a single battery swap, to this date. Recommend it very much.(http://images.esellerpro.com/2416/I/110/84/MK710.jpg)

Nice find :o I got mine for $1.99 at some mom and pop second hand store

The best part about it is it's Logitech Unifying compatible, so it can share a USB receiver with multiple peripherals, like mice or other keyboards.
