A tall, hooded figure approached the hotel early in the morning. Upon entering the building, he took down his hood to show that he was a jackal, with neat, dark hair and eyes that were slightly too big for his face. He approached the receptionist at the desk.
"Room reservation for Ezra Jenkinson." the jackal stated in a low, monotonous voice, and as he waited to receive his room keys, he decided to take in the surrounding area.

Alice was sitting in the lobby on her laptop, near the end of a very tense League of Legends match. For the last 20 minutes, all that could be heard was a loud flurry of clicks and clacks of her keyboard and mouse, before suddenly she yelps loudly in excitement.
"Yeah! Take that you jer-..." she stops herself, realizing how loud she was there. Blushing, she goes back to focusing on her game.

Ezra quickly turned to see who was shouting. He noticed the green fox girl with the laptop looking around in embarrassment, and immediately knew that she was the one who made the noise. Having picked up his room keys, he decided to go and sit next to the vixen, both to introduce himself and see what was going on.

She navigated the little character on her screen, a small dark magic user named Veigar, around the map, focusing on the intensity of the 5v5 teamfight going on around her in game. She sensed someone was walking up to her, but she couldn't look away, clicking madly, shooting little pixelated blasts at the enemies, trying to turn the fight in her team's favor.

Ezra took a glance at the screen, immediately identifying that the fox was playing some form of fantasy-MOBA, and concluded that it was League of Legends. After a few minutes of watching her play the game, Ezra was fully certain that he knew how it worked. Then he realised that he should probably try and introduce himself before he seemed too rude, so he gently cleared his throat.

Alice used her shoulder to bump off one of her large headphones from her ear, glancing back at the new person. There was a lull in the combat, so she tried shooting them a smile.
"Hello! What can I do for you?"

"Hey there. Er, I'm Ez, what's your name?" Ezra asked, fairly nervously. He really hopes that this encounter doesn't end like it usually does when he talks to women.

With a couple quick taps, Alice caught out and ulted a pair of the other team, resulting in a fairly satisfying double kill.
"My name is Alice. Nice to meet you, Ez." she said, attempting a warm smile.

"It's nice to meet you as well." Ezra replied, while trying of what to say next. "Er... is that League of Legends that you're playing? I've had a growing interest in that game in the past couple of weeks, but I've never really found time to get into it".

"It's... uh... well it's an acquired taste" she said, blasting another enemy to oblivion. "I've been playing it for years, myself. Its also got a high skill cap and a pretty toxic playerbase, but if you can get past that, it's actually pretty fun."
Her team pushes through to the enemy's core, blasting down the last tower and inhibitor.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before."

"Yes, in fact I just got my room keys... er..." Ezra checks his watch, fairly subtly. "Four minutes ago. How long have you been here for?"

"Oh, just a few months. I was here for a gaming competition and... uh... well I lost my plane tickets home. So I've just been staying here." she says sheepishly.

"That must be terrible. I should be here for another week, I'm on a business trip, nothing too exciting". Ezra stands up, and tries to make himself look somewhat decent. "Anyway, I'll go and unpack some of my stuff, then get a bite to eat. See you around, Alice."

"See you around! I should be down here for a while." she says smiling.
When she turned back to the screen, she noticed that the enemy team had made a nasty comeback and were pushing towards THEIR core!
"Eep!" she exclaimed quietly, and got back to focusing down squishies.

Ezra, after half an hour of stairs and corridors, finally located his room. He immediately started unpack his suitcase. Suit, laptop, toiletries, Nintendo DS... but he knew something was missing. His eyes lit up with panic, and he checked every pocket, everywhere where they could be... but he couldn't find them.
He had lost his plane tickets.

Keahi skipped around the halls, flashing wide grins to anyone who bothered giving an annoyed look. She'd recently gotten a neighbor, according to rumor. Without hesitation, she skidded to a stop and knocked rhythmically on the door adjecent to her own.

Ezra heard someone knocking on his door fairly loudly. Still in panic about his plane tickets, he went to the door of his room and opened it. Outside it stood a hyena, who looked a little too enthusiastic for her own good. "Er... hey there. I'm Ez, what's your name?" Ezra asked.

Keahi beamed at the Jackal. "Hello! I'm Keahi. We're neighbors! ..Well. As long as we're here." She corrected herself. Suddenly noticing something seemed wrong with him. She fought the urge to ask, and just added, "It's great meeting you."

"Yeah, it's been great meeting you as well." Ezra replied. "Oh, before I forget... er... you haven't seen my plane tickets anywhere, have you?" He knew that it was highly unlikely that Keahi would know where they are, but Ezra thought it was worth asking.

Oh, that's what's wrong. He was stuck here. Or, so it seemed. "No, but I'll keep an eye out for them, and ask around a bit. Have you checked the lost and found?" She asked, tilting her head.

"I'll check there in a bit, for now I should probably finish unpacking, maybe get something to eat." Ezra said, trying to keep as calm as he could. "But I still doubt that they'll be in the lost and found, since they shouldn't have even really left my bag".

"Alright. I hope you find them soon!" She replied, walking back down the hall briskly. She was heading for the lobby now.

Alice had, thankfully, finished her match and had closed up her laptop. She meandered her way over to a couple of the couches to lay down on, keeping her eye on the lobby.

Michen was just about to arrive at the hotel. they just hoped everything would be all right. They got many a look from others because of how they were carrying their laggage, as there was a bag to both of their sides that were connected on their back. Due to this, Michen couldn't exactly walk quickly. They had planned this vacation for quite some time though, so they didn't want to ruin it just by a few small inconveniences. When they arrived at the hotel, they tapped on the door with one of their front paws and waited.

Keahi noticed the feral snow leopard as she walked into the lobby. It must be hard to get through doors. Seeing that and the fact there was so much luggage, she was quick to open the door for them. "Hello!" She greeted, beaming. Most likely relieving a hotel staff member of their duty. Oh well.

Michen walked inside and nodded to the hyena-skunk hybrid. "Hi," they greeted back. They slowly walked towards the reception, looking around a little as they did so. They figured it would be well worth it to look around after they finished unpacking. There didn't appear to be a lot of people at the hotel right now, something Michen was also happy with.

Alice looked up over her laptop screen at the new feral that had arrived at the building. The newcomer was a snow leopard. This one could talk at least.
She opened up her Python page again, coding lightly in the background, keeping an eye on the goings on. Leaning back she put her back paws on the arm of the couch she was laying on.

Citrus began trotting up to the building. He stopped gazing up at the high sign. 'I guess this is it?' He thought. He looked down at his map, then nodded. He slowed his pace, trailing over. His tail flicked excitedly. Who knows what he would find in the hotel. ((i made this roleplay and im only just posting my first post :P))

Ezra walked back down towards the reception, still mad at himself for losing his plane tickets, and he began to notice quite a few new people arriving at the hotel. He saw a feral snow leopard, which was not a normal sight for him, as well as another fox, this one mainly grey. Ezra decided to sit down, noticing that Alice was now relaxing on a couch with her laptop. He decided to keep quiet, picked up a nearby newspaper, and started to read.

Michen was almost completely checked in when they saw a badger nearby. They hadn't even thought people could be in their room already. Maybe there were more people already here than they thought. Nevertheless they decided to stick to their plan to look around a bit after they had unpacked.
After they received their key and were told what room they were in, they started to walk up the staircase. Unfortunately, this had as a result their bag started to slip off of their back. They climbed back down a little at the bottom of the stairs, trying to think of a way how to get the bag upstairs. They figured finding a solution would take a couple of minutes at the most.

"Hello? I'd like a room please"

As Ezra glanced up from his newspaper, he saw that the feral was having a lot of trouble getting up the stairs. He immediately put down his paper and went up to the snow leopard. "You look like you're having a bit of trouble, can I help you?" Ezra asked the guest.

When Michen heard the badger, they turned their head and looked at him. They nodded. "Yes," they said. Then they looked at the stairs again. "I'm trying to get my stuff to my room." They actually liked puzzling for a solution more than they probably should, but getting some help would be a lot faster to achieve their goal.

Alice was enjoying watching the newcomers walk around, but... she felt there wasn't enough excitement going on.
She reached into her hoodie pocket and pulled out a small hexicopter. After she put it on the couch next to her, she booted up the program on her computer to run the little device, which, quiet as a mouse, zoomed up in the air, floating well above the newcomers. Hopefully they wouldn't notice.

Ezra decided to pick up the snow leopard's bag, then started to walk up the stairs at the snow leopard's pace. "I'm Ez, by the way. What's your name?" Ezra asked, thinking that he should get to know as many names as possible.

*Looking around The Hyena girl walks over to Alice*
"Hey I was wondering who I need to talk to get a room?"

Alice looks up at the Hyena girl, smiling softly.
"Oh hello! You can get some keys at the main desk over there. We should have a vacancy or two available. What kind of room are you looking for?"

*Setting down her bag with a loud thump the hyena looks over to the desk*
"Something basic and affordable please, I'm on a budget"

"I'm sure they have something for you. How long are you planning on staying for?"

*the hyena pulls out an I.D.*
"I do not have an exact amount of time but I do know for at least a month, I can pay at the start of every month if that works"

Alice smiles reassuringly.
"I'm sure they would be fine with that. I'll watch your bags if you want to go over and get a room."

*the Hyena girl smiles*
"Thanks, my names Sasha by the way"

"I'm Alice." She said, holding out a paw. "Nice to meet you!"

Michen tried looking to Ezra as they climbed the stairs. "Oh, I'm Michen." they said. "Nice to meet you." As they said this, they realised they'd also need a way to get their luggage back down later. That wasn something they shouldn't worry about now though.

*Shaking Alice's hand Sasha smiles at her*
"Well thanks for the information, it was nice to meet you"

"It's nice to meet you, Michen" Ezra said, smiling slightly. Ezra just realised that he had no idea where Michen's room was, and asked him immediately.

Michen seemed lost in thought for a while, though not for long. "I'll just compare the numbers of the rooms to the number that's given me." It might not look like it, but to Michen this was a little adventure. Though they did know roughly where it should be, so they found the room rather quickly.

Keahi listened to the commotion around her, noticing another purple-spotted hyena and a grey and orange fox. With the red dyed into her stripes, pretty soon there'd be an entire rainbow. A humming noise caught her atyention, and she looked up to see a small drone. "Neat."

Citrus looked inside the doors, shaking his head. He was a bit startled by the feral snow leopard. He made the long way around it. 'Well this is new.' He adjusted the sling on his shoulder, striding over to the reception desk. He looked down at his paws, adjusting his weight backwards a bit. 'There are so many lovely looking creatures here!' He looked around.

*Sasha walks over to the counter and rings the bell*
"Hello? I'd like to get a room?"

Keahi noticed a smaller fur with a confused look. Possibly looking for family or friends. She naturally kept an eye out, not wanting anything bad to happen.

while Light was looking around he saw a bigger furr and walked towards him "im sorry, but do you know where room 134 is?"

The feral snow leopard looked around, confused because Ezra seemed to have gone missing suddenly. They just shook it off. They had seen things like this before anyways, and at least she hadn't stolen the luggage. They dropped the key they cleverly hid under their scarf earlier and picked just a small bit of it in their mouth, and then tried to get it in the lock. At this point Michen started to wonder why there weren't many rooms designed for ferals. You wouldn't even need that many changes, right? Maybe that was a thing to ask back at the reception, but the snow leopard didn't know how smart it was to leave the luggage here in the hall, so they just continued their attempt to open the door for now.

Ezra realised that he had passed out, for whatever reason. When he awoke, he saw that the feral leopard was still struggling to open the door. "How long... have I been passed out for?" Ezra asked, wearily.

Keahi tilted her head at the smaller fur. "I know where that is, but where is your mum?" She questioned. Possibly a runaway. She glanced aroundthe room, trying to find anyone he resembled.

After a minute or so, Michen was able to open the lock. Their back hurt a little from carrying the luggage and the awkward position they were just in, but they finally could go in. With that, they grabbed the front of the luggage carry and pulled their bags inside the room.
