Title: Hey Everyone!

Hey everyone! I'm GreenishDutchie, but just call me Bram :p I'm pretty much new to this, but I know the basics. I live in the Netherlands and this might be an opportunity for me to start a second life, as a furry, so I can escape my everyday  stress as a 13 year old kiddo. Im very creative so this is also a nice opportunity to put my crafting skills to the test xD I have one question tho, should I let my parents know? It would be weird if I would ask my mom as a 13 year old if I could go on the train to head to Groningen for three days, on my own. By the way, if there are people from the Netherlands reading this, feel free to comment :D

I'm not from the Netherlands, but I'm in the Netherlands now. Does that count?

13 years old is kinda young for going somewhere on your own though.
And whether you should tell them or not depends on how they are. If they're open and accepting there's no reason not to tell them.

There is a HUGE love of arts and crafts in the fandom so I'm sure you will find some kindred spirits.


As for telling your parents, firstly for going on a train, I guess your parents will already have an expectation of whether you would tell them about your train related adventures and I trust you know them best.  I would certainly be happy for my cubs to travel by themselves but I would still appreciate being kept in the loop.


When it comes to telling them about joining the Forum, I think the main thing is that you just be open.  We try to maintain a family friendly site so there's nothing terrible here and they are welcome to visit as guests to reassure themselves.  Treating it like something secret or forbidden will only make it seem weird when they do find out.


But that's just my opinion ;)
