Greetings. This is Grand Admiral Voro 'Zamam of the United Alliance Coalition. If you are receiving this transmission, it is because you have come to the Lord-Admiral's attention as someone with a particularly useful skill or skill set. To that end, the Lord-Admiral requests your assistance in a delicate matter. I cannot say everything on this transmission, but I will say this; the Coalition finds itself in a precarious position. The forces of the Interstellar Concordium, along with their allies in the Mirak Star League and the Lyran Alliance, have accused our Lord-Admiral of the destruction of a ISC Industrial sector and the mass-genocide of its inhabitants. While the evidence we have in our Lord-Admiral's defense is sufficient to clear his name, Lord-Admiral Tokarev is nonetheless concerned by the evidence the ISC have against him. He believes someone is trying to drive a wedge between the Coalition and our allies.
Your job will be to find out who and why. That being said, any interested parties - whether your reasons be sympathetic, patriotic or material - are urged to come to the Dragon'taan Military District Mercenary Enclave. There, you will be given a full briefing by the Lord-Admiral himself. If you should accept this job, you will find a transport ticket attached to this message to get you here. If you have a ship of your own, we strongly advise leaving it for the time being - you may make arrangements with Lord-Admiral Tokarev to call it in, if possible, should the mission require you to.

Bio: A special order was made to [REDACTED] Laboratories for a companion that has the ability to morph and hack, and still be battle ready if needed. So [REDACTED] Laboratories finished the coding and model design that would be made up by the AI itself and shipped it to the ship via shipping missile. Upon arrival, the pod was taken immediately to Admiral Trask Makron and coaxed out of the container into an electrified room to stabilize F3-L, later renamed Felicity.

Bio: Ray was born into a technocratic society based solely on perfection and effeciency. And so, as is custom, most of Ray's body was replaced with mechanical duplicates, leaving him nearly bullet proof, pain-free, and without fear. Xenophobic to a fault (as is his entire race), Ray's curiosity outweighed his xenophobia. And so he left his forgeworld to join the Coalition, for little more than the experience. And to spread the word of the Omnissiah.
Having never seen any biologicals up close, Ray has a hard time understanding fatigue, pain, or fear. He also has a nasty habit of 'inspecting' (removing and observing) various parts of any biological he can get within the reach of his tool-staff.

Special Equipment: A light grey chemical mask that emits encrypted messages, able to disrupt nearby electronic communications and allow Victor to see in dark environments. Unfortunately, the electrical feedback audibly increases in volume to all nearby beings if Victor sprints or moves excessively.
Reason for Hire: Unfaltering style of close quarters combat and brutal non-lethal takedowns.
Bio: Victor lived an average life in the small village of his home, until he was indoctrinated into a "Private Security Corporation." This corporation turned out to be nothing more than a band of well organized, brutal killers that taught Victor in the ways of close combat and tactical movements. It's been about two years since the band dissolved, and now here he is, itching for a fight and needing his fix. It isn't the money he is after, it's the adrenaline, the rush. When he saw the hologram, he knew he found his fix. And knew he was back in business.

Bio: RSS has built up a reputation for being a skilled soldier, field medic, and surgeon. Rumors of unethical treatment of enemies including alleged instances of torture and medical experimentation on unwilling subjects have kept him from being hired on officially. [REDACTED] submitted a report claiming that RSS had taken captives after the conflict at [REDACTED] and tested a toxin later identified as [REDACTED]. After an investigation was launched we decided to continue utilizing him under an assumed name and with individuals unrelated to the Coalition when possible.

Well, my friends, I need opinions. Alex would like to use the world Mar Sara (from StarCraft) as the target destination where the rest of you would come in. I, however, had the idea to use Manaan (from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic). Weapons: CQC training with a black lightsaber/machete. Right arm is a moldable nano tech prosthetic with high power strength enhancement and energy based projectile weapons system. A Kinetic based Rifle with EMP and stun settings alon with a wide arangment of attachments. Finally a self adaptive pistol able to adjust itself depending on the current setting. Pistol settings include Electric shock, ballistics, plasma, and Laser.
Special Equipment (If any): two old model robots infused with AI operators. Reason for Hire: Looking for a better challenge to face against, something that I could look back and call a damn good adventure.
Bio: Abandoned at birth I was adopted at the age of 16 by a Mercenary monster hunter. He raised me to be a hunter instilling a passion for adventure and danger in me. At the age of 25 my adoptive father was killed while we were trying to exterminate a Xenomorph infestation, this was also the day I lost my arm. I confined my fathers wishes and hunted the scariest beast across several galaxies until I started to grow board and went on a search for a greater challenge which is where i found the job offer amongst the steel avenger.

Attire: During a mission, Tic is suited with light armor meant to help protect against small arms fire with the addition of a personal energy shield.

Weapons: For purposes of defense, Tic is armed with canons built into here hands that can be adjusted fire several types of energy though continuous fire creates risk for overheating the canons and in extreme cases could lead to her arms blowing off. These canons are still in prototype stages and need frequent diagnostics and maintenance checks to prevent them from shutting down during a mission.
Special Equipment: Tic biggest asset is the amount of utility she possess. Built into the core module on the back of her head is multiple different hacking interfaces, decoding systems and the languages of most known races in the galaxy including a few dead languages. Tic was meant to be a walking super computer, however she is just coming out of her prototype stages and still has some bugs here and there.
Reason for being hired: Was requested for the purposes of field testing new A.I driven operators.
Bio: Tic was built by Lysander D. Grey, a scientist who by all respects was thought to be a mad man. While many of Lysander's experiments and invention had fallen through the ground, he is being currently being recognized for the invention of Tic. Tic according to Lysander is meant to be an active member of military operations helping hack, decode cyphers, calculate odds of success and break down language barriers. After a demonstration of her talents, Lysander was given necessary funding to continue his research. However, as Lysander worked on Tic he couldn't help but feel something was missing from this souless machine...and as he sat there alone trying to figure it out it hit him. She had no emotions, no concept of right or wrong...and since he had no friends or family he decided he was going to give her these emotions. It took a year or two, but eventually Tic had awoken mentally and from there Lysander started to teach her things to the best of his ability...even though he was never good in social situations. Eventually the two had grown close to one another, enjoying each others company. However Lysander knew eventually he would have to send her out into danger and years of adjustments and preparing it was almost time to introduce her to whatever team was assigned to field test her.

Not a truce - an alliance. More will become clear as the RP progresses. And Ray has hacked into Torrentus' ship - not Trask's.

As I said, you still have time to board the Steel Avenger before it gets underway to its next destination; just play out your character's arrival and seek out a crewman for directions to the bridge; I'd advise that she state her authorization to be on board for the mission, as Trask's crew take ship security very seriously.

Also since my character is basically a Coalition experimental android, i would imagine she is being escorted more officially to the steel avenger as a security precaution. Cause i doubt any sort of military would let something they invested a lot of money into get stolen or lost.

Ray comes from a planet that worships machines, and the raccoon-AI gained sentience and has essentially enslaved Ray's race, by making them believe he is this machine god. Ray believes that Tic is the beginning of this rapture-esque event called the Convergence, where the machine god (the raccoon AI) had taken a physical form. Ray is in some dumbfounded haze, but once he comes to, he will follow Tic's every word, and even protect her with his own life.

I'm sorry but that is funny, luckily Tic is not the kind to really get big headed over such a thing or even really believe that she is a god. Frankly out of character i would probably be the same, mostly do to lack of self confidence. :/

Appearance: A anthro cat with red eyes, short hair with bangs and a ponytail. Her fur is black with a white front that goes from her crotch to her chin. Was not always like this.
Attire: A skin tight suit that she had awoken with. It's grey and offers some protection in the form of energy shields and light armor. She also has a pair of glasses.
Weapons: a pair of power knuckles with built claws that can pop out and retract for increased lethality. Is capable of piercing and crushing most infantry armor.
Bio and abilities: Reyela is what is known by the Tenno as an operator, one who controls bodies known a Warframes to protect their part of the Galaxy. They are usually asleep in the ruins of their ancestors, the Orokin and are in a state of dreaming while their frame looks for their body. They are the children of the Lotus, a powerful woman who cares for her operators and guides them. Reyela first dreamed through the eyes of a valykr warframe, a frame that was made in Corpus labs and is known to be a wild and viscous killer acting on more primal powers. However while she dreamed and searched for her sleeping body, the grineer had found the location first. The Grineer wanted her body to be used for scientifically fixing their deteriorating genetic code, a code that they made impure after years of cloning their race. Reyela was awoken early and this had several side effects as she was not awoken correctly. Being forced awake imprinted the personality of her Warframe to her own and alter her body and powers to that of Valkyr making her an animal. She tore apart the grineer forces sent to retrieve her and escaped on one of their ship's. She wanders aimlessly through the Galaxy, lost and confused without the Lotus guidance as her link was severed upon waking up.
Ability wise she is fast and agile able to move quickly like a jedi using the force. She can create a bolt of energy that links on to surfaces, pulling her forward or pulling an enemy closer. Her roar empowers herself and allies giving them courage as adrenaline starts pumping. When she is truly angry she goes berserk making her glow a red aura that makes her much stronger for a short duration. If she spills the blood of an enemy and kills them she drinks the life force from their body through her aura and heals her own wounds. Beserk is a dangerous tactic though as the longer she stays in it and the more damage she takes the weaker she will feel afterwards. In other words it's a last resort maneuver.
Her reason for hire: Protection and safety as she is tired of running.
(Also this is the Warframe story up to my understanding...so some of this may be false.

aside from the grineer stuff, i think it's all correct though i'm pretty sure Valkry frame had nothing to do with the grineer.,but whatever you want I don't care.

yeah she was but you mentioned something about the grineer which had nothing to do with valykr, as the grineer hate the tenno to the point where they deam them nothing but scrap so they'd likely kill them over anything.

Yeah, basically they discovered where she was sleeping before she did. They invaded the temple and were going to kill/capture her for their DNA experiments. Remember Captain Vor the first boss you meet in the game was doing exactly that in hopes of using Tenno DNA to save their race.
This is basically a what if scenario where what if the grineer found you before you awoke from the first dream.

Same, Valykr was one of the frames i used the most when i was just a noob. She's fun, her abilities are just overall great and i am currently in the process of crafting valykr prime. Once the neroptics finish being built i can get the full frame built, which oddly enough will be my first prime frame i have ever built. Technically my first prime was banshee but i just bought her with money, Valykr i actually grinded and found good trades to get.

Reason for Hire: Lone survivor of an onslaught of unknown origin, skills in physical repair being unmatched.
Bio: Vosur was an engineer/maintenance technician on board a mobile repair-ship, having been called out to a ship that experienced communications array issues, but the events on the ship took the lives of the crew on the ship he was called out to help and even took the lives of most of the crew on the repair-ship as well. He managed to escape, but the injuries he sustained from this event required his lower-legs to be amputated due to the extent of the damage, having them replaced with mechanical prosthetic limbs after he was found by a medical-ship in his SOS transmitting beacon-pod.
To keep himself useful while in recovery, he modified an older space-station security armor and lower-legs with a hermetic seal along with EVA/EVM capabilities to allow him to return to duty. Once medically-cleared, he left back out to try to resume his job, but his job took him to the Tondam Corporate Facility. Vosur was brought in for questioning due to his cybernetic prosthetic limbs, his gear taken from him during this time.

And thank you, Rylou. My character (before modifying him for use in this) does compare quite a bit to Issac from the DS series, so it was easy to put him into a similar role with the slight-adjustments. So yes, he would have a lot of the Dead Space gear (with some extras if you can pinpoint them).

Edit 2: For those wondering about the RIG line and not knowing what it is, http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/Resource_Integration_Gear may help there. Think of it as a real-time EKG display that is visible to others. And the "SKIP" is actually a SK-1P ( http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/SK-1P ), which is a very simple two-man transport ship.

Those that are still in this RP post one after the other, but we don't exactly have a set order. But we don't post free-for-all, either. Generally, I try to wait for all those who are still with us to post before I make mine. If certain others don't post for a few days or so, then I post anyway.

Might be a little difficult until he leaves the base anyways. The base is shielded if memory serves me right. Encoded transmissions would work to let him know, and the RIG also did act as a GPS, so she could tap into that function to guide him. Data stored on individual RIG's are encoded unless the user (or someone with the capability to hack-physically into them) broadcasts specific data without encoding.

I was under the impression that Vosur already had the information that was needed, and if that's the case, all that would be required would be to disrupt the shields for a few minutes, and the Steel Avenger would be able to beam everyone aboard the station trying to get off, off the station. If the SKIP is needed, that can be beamed aboard as well, likely to one of the hangars.

Considering the speed they need to travel on impulse (rather than logic drive), it might take them longer to get out of range of the shielding. And I would consider this place to be 'hardened' to prevent boarding-beams as well, so the SKIP would work better to get out of range, then they could all be beamed aboard. As for the hermetic-seal, he can do a short-term quick-fix, but they would all be on emergency O2 and have to break that quick-fix once aboard the Steel Avenger.
As for Vosur having the info, he knows 'how' to unlock it, but finding the right terminal with the permissions or the key-card to manually disengage the locks would be what he needs (hence his attempt in the security-room). Or if someone were to hack into the security-protocols, that'd make things a bit more smooth.
What Vosur does know is the experience with the tech that this 'pseudo-Sith' has, which is where his initial value would be, and if the Steel Avenger gets damaged, he has the means to repair it where no one else could.

As far as hacking the Tondam info, breaking the encryption, Alessia has an AI character (and so do I, aboard the Steel Avenger) that can break the Tondam encryption. That's not an issue.
What I've been trying to tell you is One, it's too dangerous to fly outside the shields of the Tondam Facility, as between the pseudo-Imperial attack (which was staged from the bridge of the Steel Avenger to cover the entry of the away team) and the sudden assault of the unidentified ship, any craft leaving the station would be almost immediately destroyed, if not by Tondam, then by the new attacker; Two, leaving the station would blow the Steel Avenger's cover, as it's hiding cloaked beneath the station, and beaming the SKIP from outside the station would tip off Tondam and the new attacker that someone else is here; Three, the only thing preventing the Steel Avenger from beaming out the away team is the shields. This is something I gleaned watching Star Trek - when the shields of a ship or station are up, it scatters a transporter beam. Therefore, disrupting a shields generator would disrupt the shields long enough to get everyone and everything aboard the Steel Avenger without tipping off anyone to the presence of a cloaked ship. And yes, I have considered the possible detection of the transport, and the fact the Steel Avenger is cloaked - it's transporter and cloaking technology is based on the type that had been deployed on the Reman Warbird Scimitar.
The Tondam Facility isn't as hardened as you might think, Vosur, as it was in a remote location, and the facility administrators did not think such hardening was necessary. And being a Tondam corporate facility, while it has much in the way of computer protection, it does not have as advanced military defenses, as Tondam, while a shady corporation in GS and my RPs, is a corporation with origins in the Trader Emergency Coalition, a faction from Sins of a Solar Empire, and as such, Tondam primarily uses their tech.
I am not trying to upset you, Vosur - merely trying to explain the nature of this clandestine infiltration that is already going awry (as I would say, in a military operation, nothing ever goes according to plan) and how they would get off-station without drastically changing the operation. I really want to get through this part with the Tondam Facility and move into the next phase of the story, which I fear is rapidly getting obscured.

So we shut down the generator and that would get us to be 'reachable'? Also, before Vosur's RIG (communication portion of the unit) can speak with the Steel Avenger's communication system, I think it has to be synchronized to it

I'm curious to find out what will happen after we escape. My guy will be ok, but he may not be taken to lightly, and vice versa. He will have a chip containing his info Rom, for when you want to deal with him.

And after the team escapes, we can move on to the next part of the RP - analyzing the data and determining who this pseudo-Sith is and why they would try to frame Lord-Admiral Tokarev. Then they need to find this Sith and take them out.

Go ahead, just a warning, he will be skittish, as a result of surprises having a bad rep on him, though not in combat. The chip in the bag will need to go to Trask, in any means possible, as that contains his details, as shown via my application here.
Other then that... If he pulls a gun on you/the CMO, just hit him with a bit of Oxytocin and he'll calm down, stopping his aggressiveness and making him chatty.

A individual dressed in sith-style robes with a hood covering over the face. The hands and feet are visible-only. The individual would use "Force powers" (lightning from fingertips, telekinetic-push/lift/throw, and seemingly-increased speed) on security-personnel from other regions, but as he mentioned, each one of them has a mechanical/audible tone to it rather than the lack of a tone that they would normally have if they were Force users.

No, but they do have enhanced-reflexes... and in this case, the pseudo-sith has close-range Stasis module built-in to simulate that by slowing-down the movements of everything around it. It can affect machinery and even camera-sensors as well.

This company sold the tech to the "fake sith", then set up Vosur to be the fall-guy by giving him the job at Tondam while also sending out the report with very little details to the security personnel on Tondam. What if they had something to gain from all of this? Money? Merger? Stock increase? Ect.

Or perhaps they both had something against Lord-Admiral Tokarev and wanted to get their hands on his tech? It would tie into the RP because it began as an unidentified attempt to frame him for something he didn't do, and it would also provide a motive for the move.

To give a hint for something Wilco can do, they do have the parts to be replaced in the engine room since Vosur's work was to provide a patch-job until they could get to somewhere that they could replace the line portions completely. The holo-maintenance people would have the measurements of the lines they'd need. These and any "celestial-mining equipment" that they might feel would be useful, they can buy them all at this particular facility.

Vosur actually makes an interesting point. All Wilco would need to do is distract the company personnel long enough to allow the away team to get the intel they need without being detected. The crew of the *Steel Avenger* gets parts they need to fix the engines and the Intel they need on their target, the Company gets a little bit of cash - it's a win-win.

The only part that might need some work is who could do the actual hacking? Vosur's got software-troubleshooting experience, but he's more of a hardware type of guy. Whoever it is needs to have a link to his RIG if he's going to that portion alone while Wilco's buying the supplies.

Actually, either the Shipboard AI of the *Steel Avenger* or one of Alessia's AIs can handle the hacking - they could go with Vosur and the away team when they were beamed aboard the station, and they'd only need proximity or a connection to the mainframe to get busy.

Putting a little more clarification on the Away Team(s) to make sure I have this right before I post:
Vosur would have Serena with himself (either via wireless transmission or through a direct-connect into his RIG/handheld device) to go to the admin section to get his modules checked-up on and repaired if needed. Krystal would be with Wilco, both to act as possible buyers... though it would be an idea for them to get the measurements of the parts the ship needs from the Engineering section. There would need to be a delay after Vosur entering (and before Krystal and Wilco enter) to allow him more time to get in and get out of the database room, too early might cut the time Vosur has rather short, too late would make it harder for Vosur to enter the database room.

Edit: And what should Vosur have to worry about Serena "taking over" the suit? The only functions she could manipulate would be disabling of the neural-connection to the tech of the suit. The boosters in the actual suit, the modules, the RIG, the HUD, and the helmet are the key functions that she could turn on or off. It's mostly like an advanced armor-plated EVA/EVM suit missing the lower-legs (his prosthetic-legs seal up there), so she couldn't stop him from moving unless Serena is mischievous in some way?

If I had any objections, Wilco, I would have voiced them. Ask Alessia, I have a habit of speaking my mind with the softness of a hammer. In my view, what you did in the lobby was fine, and actually fit for Krystal, given her status and history. It's a long tale going back through multiple RPs Alessia and I have done.

EDIT: In a nutshell, it has been determined that a rogue Tal Shiar Admiral, Arai, was behind the incident that started this RP, and that she had outfitted herself with various cyber modules to mimic Force Powers in an effort to frame Darth Torrentus, her Force-Sensitive counterpart. To implicate Lord-Admiral Tokarev, she created a duplicate of his flagship to carry out the crime Tokarev was accused of. When this information was discovered, there was a meeting held where it was decided to launch an attack on Arai's base in the Kegan system to take her to face justice - dead or alive. Either way, this event will be the final bit of this RP and allow me to move on to the next.

I read through the entire signup board, and I agree, it's been slow. But before I can actually join, I need to get my ship approved to leave the dry docks. (Story based, XEF-T Transport Vessel With standard Coalition Hangar bay), well, my look?, depends on the ship. Oh, it can easily fit within the Steel Avengers Hangar Bay.

Hm... to be honest, I don't know what to put for the current round. Being in the engine room right now would be fairly quiet unless the ship takes hull damage.

On the contrary; in combat, the main engineering section is one of a number of hotspots for activity. Power needs to be regulated, for one, lest the EPS conduits for the Steel Avenger blow. Engines need to be monitored and adjusted as needed, so they remain at peak efficiency during combat. Reactor core needs to be constantly monitored, even when the ship isn't taking hull damage - combat can strain the core, even a core the likes of which reside on the Steel Avenger, as everything is drawing power at once - shields, weapons, engines, life support. EVERYTHING.
So even though Vosur isn't on the front lines of orbital combat, he still has a critical role to play.
