(I'm relatively inexperienced, but I'm willing to learn. I chose a college theme because its pretty open for interpretation, so go nuts, I guess.)
Hi! I'm Valka, a red fox who's a biology major in college! I need a roommate to split rent with.

Valka met her roommates after the first day of freshman orientation in their new dormroom.
"Hi Catty! Hi Vortex!" Valka said when she saw them. "I'm Valka. Should we pick our rooms now?"
There were three bedrooms: one had a big window, but was a little smaller than the others. One had a window and a fluffy carpet; but it was next to the bathroom. The third had no windows and was the biggest. It had a regular carpet that had been stomped down over time.
Valka claimed the third room, with the stomped-down carpet. It reminded her of her childhood home.

"Hi Valka! Hiya Vortex!" Catty said as she moved into the small room with a big window. "Im so excited to be here with you guys!" Im majoring in psychology, but I'm also taking computer science..." she says gazing at Vortex.

"Hey guys! ^_^ " Vortex said as he walked into the room with the fluffy carpet. Although it was the only choice it was left he seemed to be happy with it!
"I didn't know you are also taking computer science Catty" said Vortex with a little surprise. "Well I guess now I know who to pester for help for hard projects" he said jokingly.
"ANYWAYS I bet this is gonna be a great year for all us three!" Vortex said, following by a smile.[size=78%] [/size]

"Cool." Valka said. "I think we should establish some ground rules. My contribution is wash your dishes, put dirty laundry in your basket, and, um... no music without headphones past 11:00. Sound good? What other rules do you guys want?"

Valka shrugged. "I'll probably stay out of that, if you don't mind. I'm not really into yiffing." she turned to Vortex. "Any rule suggestions?"

Bricket walks on campus and sees the Uni in front of him
'Guess a new life starts', he thinks to himself

(thanks Bricket, I'm pretty new so I don't have the rules completely down yet.)
After the group of three had settled into their new dormroom, it was time for their first day to start. Valka's first class was zoology, which she got to without getting lost. On her way there, she ran into a fellow named Bricket. She also saw Vortex and Catty walking around, which was pretty great seeing familiar faces.

Bricket ran into Valka
"Hey, where are you going to if I may ask? And how are you?"

"Hi!" Valka said brightly. "I'm headed to zoology, which I'm pretty excited about. I'm okay, I'm a little nervous- it is my first day, after all." she shrugged, her backpack shifting on her shoulders. "How about you? What's up?"

"H-hiya Bricky..." catty says, eyes widening at the sexy wolf

"I'll leave you two to talk," Valka said, turning away. "I have to get to class anyway, and I don't want to be late on my first day."

"yeah now you still want to be in class, let's speak again when you're 2 months into the year" Bricket shouts jokingly to Valka

"what makes you think I'll be awake at this time in two months?" Valka yelled back, flashing a grin, but continuing to walk. When Valka got to her class, she chose a seat halfway up the lecture hall. She didn't want to stand out too much. Her class went okay; it was much harder than high school.

"well you get me there" Bricket silently says to himself after the remark of Valka, he turns his head to Catty and smiles

So Bricky, ya wanna study later together...? Catty said flirtatiously.

"well uhm...sure why not?"
He looks at the clock and thinks to himself 'maybe a 5 minute delay wouldn't be too bad... I don't know'

(Hey Valka)
Darwin, a winter fox who peaked at 6'3 and weighed 150 lbs (skinny guy) walked on campus with his backpack that looked a bit too small for him.
"I'm going to hate every single second of this." He said out loud, he was hoping that the roommates he was going to get were going to be acceptable

Oh come on..." catty said lowering her crop top a bit. "Please...?"

Darwin noticed her behavior and could easily see through it.
"Sorry, but I have other things to do, your probably going to trick me to do something you want me to do, I'm not falling for that, I'll see you around."
Darwin said as he walked through the double doors, hoping to find his first class.

Bricket looks at Catty confused yet intrigued "uhm, I gotta go to class now. See you in a bit"

When Valka's zoology class was finished, she had a break until 10. She sat in a common area in the biology building, doing her homework from class. Next she had Latin; she had to learn a little bit so she could learn scientific names easier.

'yup, that's a stockbroker' thought Bricket when he was in class, it was rather easier than anticipated.
He looks at his watch '9.30, that's good enough' he gets up and walks out of class which seems to be extended by a few more minutes. Something he hadn't time for.

Before class, catty got out a piece of paper and started drawing a hyper-realistic wolf. [Removed]

Bricket walks out of the class to the cafeteria where he ordered a coke
'€3 for a coke? Djeezs, and then people were complaining for the tuition' he thought
He sat down and grabbed his schedule looking where he should be next

Valka made her way to her next class. She had almost finished her zoology homework, but had been interrupted about 3/4 through. She had to walk all the way across campus to get to the language building.

Bricket packed his bags and went to Macro-economics.
'Honestly, why am I doing this study again?' he thinks
He gets in class and starts writing down the oh so interesting lecture

Darwin went to go to his dorm, he found it after a few minutes, the inside of it was messy, lots of food on the floor, mixed with clothes and trash.
Darwin knocked on the side of the door hinge to see if anyone else was in there.
"Hello? This is my dorm, whos my roommate?"
"That roommate would be me" said a very familiar voice, Darwin could see a red and green lizard rose from the bed and face Darwin.
His face was in shock, it's like he just met an old friend.
"Wait, Darwin?" The lizard said in recognization
Darwins face was in shock too, the lizard looked familiar as well.
"Santos?" Said Darwin.
Santos just got a smile on his face.
"Darwin! Dude I haven't seen you in 2 years!"
"Santos!" Said Darwin, as they did a handshake and pulled each other in for a hug.
"Santos man, hows life going for you?"
"Pretty good, I have to go to robotics for 1st class and then science for 2nd, hows it going for you?"
"Pretty good as well, my brother just got back from Norway, and he's not dead."
Both of them laughed while Santos grabbed his things to go to robotics.
"Alright dude, I have to head to Algebra, I'll see you in 2nd period." Said Darwin as he walked off. "Bye Santos!"
"Alright, bye Darwin!' Said Santos in a cheerful voice.
Santos was a red and green lizard with a stocky build, he looked like he weighed around 190-200 lbs, and was around 5'9-5'10 in height, Santos smiled as he walked into robotics.
" can't believe my best friend is in the same dorm as me" Santos said, it was a dream come true.

After class Bricket packs his bags and goes to his dorm, since he anticipated on the "yearly" traffic jam at the dorms he went a day earlier and already arranged his room.
"Home sweet home... or what has to go as home" he says out loud to himself as he enters the room and jumps on the bed

We want everyone to enjoy their stay here.
So if you see anything breaking the rules, please press the 'Report' button on the post. That way we'll get informed rather quickly and can deal with it if needed.

Ventus just issues a warning saying where we should watch out for, now we can peacefully keep going on with the RP ^_^

Valka went to her Latin class, and learned some basic, beginner words. It was pretty easy; Valka had had a knack for languages as long as she could remember. Next she had wildlife science, a class in the biology building. She walked back across the campus, stopping at the cafeteria for lunch.

There he was, all alone on his room
'Honestly I don't get it. Why would you organize all classes in the morning? Do they really want to makes us suffer' thinks Bricket whilst lying down in his bed and throwing a ball against the wall

Valka's third and final class of the day was almost over. The way she had scheduled her classes worked out really well for her. All her classes were in the morning-early afternoon, which let her relax and have time to do homework.
She headed back to her dorm room, excited about getting to sleep.

Bricket stood outside of his room and saw Valka walk by
"You're way to enthousastic for college you know", he says jokingly to Valka

"It's only the first day. I'll lose enthusiasm eventually." Valka replied, stopping by the doorway.

"that indeed sounds plausibel. So in what are you gonna major if I may ask?" asks Bricket

"'probably major in biology and minor in ornithology. What about you?" said Valka.

"since the lack of morality it will be in business, financial business to be more precise. You know: how to become an immoral banker" adds Bricket with a bit humouristic cynism.
"So you want to be a biologist?"

"Yeah, I've been really interested in animals and nature ever since I was little. May as well do something I like, huh?" Valka replied. "Hey, you want to come over to my dorm room? I have pizza rolls in my freezer," she asked.

"sharing stuff? that sounds like communism" jokes Bricket, "nah, I'm in. Can't say no to Pizza rolls"

Valka snickered at the joke, and motioned for Bricket to follow her to her room. She unlocked the door and headed to the small kitchen. "One box or two?" she asked. Each box had 15 rolls in it. Valka shrugged and opened both boxes. "So, how was your day?" she asked.

Bricket sighed "well to be fair, quite calm. Almost no class and this is my schedule for a while. They all expect to do a lot on your own but let's be fair. What kind of student loves doing work?" he asked.

"Ugh, I feel you," Valka groaned. "I only had three classes today but still, I have a fair amount of work to do." The microwave dinged and Valka pulled a plate of pizza rolls out. She motioned to the table, where the two sat to eat. "I've been meaning to get a plant for my room. Do you know where a plant store is?"

"uhm... there is a plant store?" says Bricket when looking surprised

"I don't really know if there is one. But I also don't know where to get a plant," Valka explained. "Eh, it doesn't really matter. I'll probably just sweet-talk one of my professors into giving me one."

"and then you'll probably end up being charged €5000" Adds Bricket.
"But now: Pizza rolls"

(well small talk can happen but if you want to develop a plot you can but forcing one is not always a great idea. Anyway: imagination is the limitation so make the plot as crazy as you want :P )

(how about there's an arsonist at the school... and we have to catch them because the campus security is corrupt)

After a night of shared pizza rolls and conversation, Bricket had gone back to his room (I hope this isn't controlling, but I feel like that's what would happen?). Valka woke up to the fire alarm waking her up. She jumped out of her bed, grabbed her keys and her phone, and walked to the stairwell. Valka expected it to be a drill; test out the new kids, make sure they're safe. Nope! As Valka walked outside and looked to the top of the building, she saw black smoke coming from the top of the dorms. She panicked.
"Oh my god! All my stuff is in there!" Valka yelled, causing a slight panic. Different voices hollered different things. Plants, sentimental things, even a couple small pets. Across the croud, Valka spotted Bricket.

Bricket coughed and looked up
"I must admit, these fratjokes are getting out of hand. Anyone inside you know?" Asks Bricket worried

"Um, I don't think so," Valka gasped, her eyes wide. "Uh, I think I'm having a panic attack. What do you mean. frat jokes? Someone did this on purpose?"

"I mean that it is not unusual for frat boys to make a practical joke but a fire? This is either an accident which I doubt or someone did this on purpose" said Bricket to her whilst watching the fire blazing

Valka shivered at the idea of someone setting a fire on purpose.
"Oh, look! Here come fire trucks!" Valka and Bricket watched as the trucks pulled into the parking lot and unloaded their hoses. Valka visibly relaxed as she could watch the fire going out. Luckily, the streams of water reached the top floor; the blaze was out within two hours.
Suddenly, someone of college authority, probably a dean, came over a speakerphone.
"Due to damaged rooms and goods, students will have to double or triple up. Relating to damaged property, please refer to your counselor to get specialized insurance."
"Oh my god," Valka groaned. "I just realized my backpack was still in my room. What will I do about my homework?"

Bricket looked in all seriousness at her "honeslty, I think you have a pretty good excuse now."
He then walks to the counselor to get some of that sweet insurance money "the fire was blazing hot, I'm sure we can get some money back"

"Uh, yeah, I'll go with you," Valka stumbled after Bricket to talk to her counselor.
After talking to her counselor, Valka learned that she was eligible for two thousand dollars to replace her things, and she had an extra week to catch up on her work. She had to find a new dorm room though. Valka found one in a building closer to her classes, and she was allowed to go to her old room to gather salvageable things. Most of her clothes were fine, and so were some of her books; but her posters and bed things were scorched.
Valka went the next morning to buy a new backpack. After doing that, she went to her classes.

"I love you too mum!"..."It was only a small fire!" Josh yelled as he made his way to the entrance.
"Everything's going to be fine..." He reassured himself.
He walks through the gates.

Valka's first class after the fire was zoology, again. Instead of learning though, the professor mainly talked about the fire. He asked if anyone was directly affected by it. Valka raised her hand.

"Is this Computer Sciences?" Josh asked as he stumbled into the room.
"This is zoology!" someone yelled from somewhere in the room.
Josh's face went red; "Sorry" he said, embarrassed, "Could uh....someone please show me how to get to my class please?" He stared out into the sea of faces.

Valka stood up. "I know where that is," she said. "I'll show you the way." she left her seat and jogged down to where he was. "So, you're a computer science major?"

"Yea, I'm hoping to get into cyber security when I graduate."
They talked on the way to Josh's class. "I'm sorry, I haven't properly introduced myself, My name is Joshua but you can call me Josh."

"Oh, that's cool," Valka said. "My dad did IT support for a while but he wasn't that into it. Something about how most people don't know where the 'on' button is." Valka stopped outside a computer lab. "So, this is the room for computer science 101, but if you need a different class, they're all in this hallway." she rubbed her neck as she said, "I, uh, may have memorized which subjects are in which building." Valka blushed. "Some people have said I'm too enthusiastic about college..."

"You can never be TOO enthusiastic" Josh laughed; "I'm going to have to make an effort to remember all the rooms too!" Josh smiled as he walked into the lab; "Thanks for taking me here", He blushed again. "I hope I see you again!" He called, waving behind him. Josh felt like they were going to be good friends.

Valka waved goodbye to Josh as he walked into the lab. She then walked back to her class, which was almost over when she returned. After her professor dismissed the class, she went and talked to him about homework. Valka then went to Latin, where she learned some more basic vocab and some history. It was a pretty cool class. After Latin, Valka went to the cafeteria for her break, and she also got some food.

Josh had just finished psychology and went to the cafeteria to grab a bite to eat when he heard an almighty boom. He heard screaming and then the evacuation bell started ringing. He saw Valka over at one of the benches; "Come on! Let's go!" He yelled over the noise. He gestured to the exit.

Valka started suddenly. She had been dissociating during her lunch break, but was rudely awakened by the cacophony. She heard Josh beckoning to her, and she lurched upwards with her backpack slung off one arm. Valka stumbled after Josh and followed him out of the hall.
Students were gathered outside the building, murmuring about the recent happenings.
"Oh, great," Valka stuttered, her eyes glazed and her hands shaking.
The building was on fire. After last night, the fire reminded Valka of the panic and terror she felt at that time.
"There's no way two fires happened two days apart," someone in the crowd said. "I bet it's an arsonist." The people around Valka whispered to each other, saying Why aren't the police doing anything? Why do we still have to go to class? Who's doing this?
Valka just grabbed onto Josh's arm and shivered.

Josh comforted Valka as they watched the burning building. School was dismissed and Josh said goodbye and made his way home. "This can't be a coincidence." Josh though to himself as he walked. Josh woke up violently, covered in sweat. He had dreamed about the fire, he dreamed that he couldn't save Valka. He got up and got a glass of water. It was 4:00AM and he couldn't sleep so he had a shower and sat down at his computer. Josh was board so he looked up Valka on social media and asked her what she thought about the fire.

Valka couldn't sleep. She stayed awake, staring at her wall. It was empty without her posters from childhood. Her laptop dinged. It was Josh. He was asking what she thought about the fire.
I'm not really sure what to think, she typed.
I heard a rumor that it's an arsonist.
Why would someone target a random college?
she sent the messages in a series, one after the other. She waited for Josh's reply.

Josh and Valka chatted for a bit but couldn't figure out why anyone would target the place like that. Josh said goodbye as, by some miracle, college was on the next day.
Josh walked to college wondering why someone would target a small place like this. As Josh waited outside for class to start, he noticed a figure in a black hoodie dart behind the back of the science block.
Josh's ears picked up and he walked curiously over to see who it was. But when he got back there, he couldn't see anyone there. Josh was about to walk back when he spotted a card on the grass.
He picked it up and had a look. It had some weird symbols on it and Josh had no idea what any of it meant. Josh pocketed the card and headed to class.

Josh went inside and spotted a new face. He walked over. "Hi! My name is Joshua but you can call me Josh. What's your name?"

Josh hesitated before asking this but he figured Sindel had the right to know.

Valka walked up to where the two were standing. "hey guys." she had her backpack with her. "what's up?"
(sorry the reply is so late, I've been incredibly busy the past few days.)

"Hey Valka, this is Sindel, Sindel; Valka." The two greeted each other and then Josh proceeded to reach into his pocket to get the card.
"Hey uhh Valka. Have you ever seen these symbols before?" Josh asked handing her the card.
(Maybe you can progress the story? Idk where to go from here XD)

(Russians! I suggest this because I'm learning Russian at school, I swear I'm not a communist :P)
"Oh yeah, these are Cyrillic letters. Um, it says 'Я зажигаю огонь. Бойся меня.' I'm not really sure what it means." Valka handed the card back to Josh. "So Sindel, what's up with you? What class are you going to? I have a break until 11, so I'll probably go to the language building and get this phrase translated."

"What are you, communist?" Josh laughed. "Well I've got a free period so I'll come with you. What about you Sindel?"

"Alright, I'm ready to go to the language lab now if you are."
Valka and josh walked over the the language building, where they consulted with a Russian professor.

Josh didn't speak Russian so anything the professor said was nonsense to him.
"So what does this mean Sir?"

Ezra, the Russian professor at this school, spoke with a heavy Russian accent.
"I am surprised that Valka could not translate such simple phrase. It reads; I light the fire. Fear me."
Ezra starts laughing in a slightly evil way.

"Evil laughing! I thought I was the only one who did that!" a female-sounding voice said from a few feet behind Ezra, but all that could be seen from behind him was a long, fluffy, white-tipped black tail.
(Interrupting. The best way to join an RP. xD)

Oh, you scared me there... er... sorry, I forget your name. It was... er... Isabelle?

She twitched an ear, walking out from behind Ezra, her tail swishing casually. "They call me Foxi. Foxi Ravenheart."

Ah, Foxi. No surprise that I forget your name. Now... er... why are you here?

Foxi shrugged. "I decided to see what was going on," the small fox-hybrid stated simply.

Ezra lets out a slightly evil laugh. "A curious person, you are. I fell like we can get on well".

Josh stood there, not knowing how to react.
He turned to Valka; "I need to talk to you"
Josh hurried Valka out of the room and in to the corridor.
"I saw someone with a black hoodie dart behind the science block, that's where I found that card."

Foxi smirked. "I'm sure we can," the catwolx purred.

_Room 204B, Welding class_
A rather large female white tiger, sat at the front of the welding workshop cleaning off her welding mask with a damp rag, waiting for students to come in for class.
