Title: Robbie Williams
Post by: Ventus Fall on February 10, 2017, 10:01:38 PM
I'm a huge fan of Robbie Williams. (As much of a fan of Queen (https://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?topic=35514.0) that I am.)

So what are some of your favourite songs by him?
Why are they your favourite songs?
Have you been to any concerts of his? Do you plan to?

Anything about Robbie Williams, feel free to discuss here. His music or anything indirectly related to his music.

Well, I especially love Let Me Entertain You (even more than the Queen song of the same name which is also love).

Apart from it being a great track I once played a solo piano version at a friends wedding which is cool and my son played it in his rock band so I probably couldn't love it much more than I do now.

My second favourite (or equal favorite perhaps) would be Supreme.  It's an amazing reworking of I Will Survive and is easily a great song in it's own right.

I rather enjoy Better Man (which I once played in concert) and Old Before I Die, but recently I've been listening to Let Love Be Your Energy quite a bit.

His take on I Wanna Be Like You is quite cute ^_^

His swing stuff is OK, but despite (or perhaps because of) being a bigband fan I don't think he quite hits the same standard he does with is "normal" work.

That's cool, Trixsie! ^_^

I forgot about "Old Before I Die". I relistened to it and it was amazing to hear it again.
I am really a fan more of "Feel". Oh, and with a few of his songs I apparently can harmonise (a word Razot taught me xD). So that's cool.
Apparently I am in the 'Robbie Williams voice range' or whatever :P I don't know how to word there.

I went to a concert of his about three or two years ago. It was "Swings Both Ways". (Talking about swing stuff x) )

Hey, was thinking about this thread while listening to music in the car.  Rock DJ came on and I was so pleased to just listen to it.

I like it OK, not my favourite but a great track.  But the video clip is SO horrible!  I've tended to avoid it for that reason.  Anyone else feel the same way?

^ I feel the same way about it, Trixsie ;-;

Also, seeing Robbie Williams perform at Love One Manchester was quite a surprise to me.
Although brief, I liked his performance there! :D
