You wake up, the sensation of cold stones beneath your body.
A small set of torches sit in the middle of the room, in a perfect circle (enough for those who join), each torch lighting the room around you.
A message is in one of your paws/hands, with text scrawled on it that reads simply, "You must find the King of Stones."
Monsterous noises assail you from the door, an old oaken beast adorned with brass handles. Assemble your gear, and
delve into the dungeon's depths. Will you find the King of Stones? Or will the Dungeon claim another soul?

Ooh, this sounds fun!
Name: Elric Hartson
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Species: Tree Griffon (see avatar)
Weapon(s): None
Armor: None
Spells: Moderate healing and body-alteration (physical buffs and debuffs)
Extra: Not much of a fighter, he relies heavily on a couple of innate magical abilities common to his species. He can emit a blinding flash from his forehead, and harden his feathers into rock-like scales. This armors him greatly, but renders him almost immobile.
Is it good?
-
Looks great, friend!
-
(,hmmm looks promising. I'll use a test character x3)
Name: Gergoth ... Ori's Bodyguard
Age: 54
Species: Human
Weapon(s): A one/two handed battle axe. A javelin with a steel tip. And a long black tear shaped shield carved with stripes running down it.
Armor:
Spells: None.
Extra: His right handed weapons (the shield is in the left.) The battle axe has a special war cry that makes him strike harder with willed strength for a short bit before he must refocus.
While his javelin has the power to be throw, but sends out a fake weaker version on the weapon itself. Though costs some time and focus to use being he isn't so magically inclined.

((And so it begins!))
The torches on the dungeon floor sputtered and flared up, as if the spirit of adventure stirred within them.
-
Elric started to stretch as he regained consciousness, before scrambling to his feet suddenly at a strange revelation: this was not his treetop home. Next to him was a well-armed...human. Disregarding the note underfoot, he looked to the human, then at the door, then back at the human.
"Where...am I?"
-
Name: Anne
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Species: Rabbit
Weapon(s): A pair of pepper boxes (A musket pistol with 6 barrels that manually rotate.)
Armor: Chain shirt
Extra: Has alchemist's tools to make bombs, potions and ammunition. Through the power of magic and science she has given herself two extra arms for four arms total.
-
A horrifying cackling could be heard, coming from the ceiling. "The Hole, the Hole! You've fallen down the rabbit hole!"
-
Anne wakes up and looks confused. She was a snow white rabbit with blue eye and short blonde hair and was dressed like she was from a farm.
"uh...i didn't make this hole so your clearly mistaken."
-
((I can't reply too often just as a heads up.))
Gergoth growled while quickly standing up as he held out his javelin in a defensive manner, while watching the other two humanoid's. And then only muttered a word with a rough and older voice. "Ori...." He looked around and noticed he must have been separated during a battle with a troll.
-
(Elric is not a humanoid. He's basically my avatar...minus the fish. He also has a harness that holds his equipment.)
The griffon, slightly larger than a wild lynx, jumped in surprise at the sudden voice from above, and again when he heard a rabbit lady he had't noticed.
He looked up at the ceiling. "R-rabbit hole? What does that even mean? Is this a dream?"
-
(Sorry i should have mentioned this...the other 2 arms are under her duster. Also let's wait for Ray)
-
The voice cackled again. "Up here, up here! I do declare. You've stumbled into the King's own lair! Through the door, you will see. Thing's that'll make you just like me! Mad and broken, that's the way. You'd better fear, or start to pray!"
A key fell from the ceiling, matching the ornate lock on the door.
-
Gergoth was rather frustrated but a bit more lost without his dear Ori to guide him. So he was just getting ahold of his weapons and then noticed that his memory was coming back. The voice... it was the last thing he heard before him and Ori where separated. And now had to get out of here in hopes he didn't fail her. "I must....find her..." he spoke with that empty voice and stared at the key.
-
Anne picks up the key and looks at the two people with a cocky smile.
"Challenge accepted, you guys ready?" She says as she goes to the door to unlock it.
-
Elric sighed heavily. "I really don't know what's going on here, but I don't see any option but to try that door."
He started following a distance behind the rabbit. "So...uh...do either of you know why you're here, or where we even are?"
-
Anne shakes her head.
"No i was in the middle of a bar fight when i got knocked unconscious. Names Anne by the way." She says holding out a hand, that comes out from under her duster.
-
Gergoth was drowning out everyone else being that he had one job to do. And wasn't good with others. As he growled with that little echo in his helm. While walking through the now open door way and was walking in a slow like march while keeping his eyes forwards.
-
The passage the door lead to was extremely dark, but something moved in the darkness. It wasn't too large, but was clad in armor.
-
Elric's eyes widened at this unexpected arm, but nonetheless reared up and held it for a moment. "Are those natural...?" He mumbled, before looking into the dark hallway. Too dark. The gem on his forehead could emit brief and intense flashes of light, but he couldn't hold it for long periods of time. It couldn't be used as a torch. He looked over at the rabbit, Anne, warily. "I...think I see somebody up ahead," he whispered.
-
A figure wandered into the torchlight, facing backwards. Its brass hide shone beautifully in the light. Its arms were held in front of itself, supposedly covering its face. "Hello," rang its ethereal voice, decievingly warm. "Hello? Who's there?"
The voice overhead whispered quietly. "Quiet, quiet. Souls of the lost make this one's diet. Look not into its eyes, he that does quickly dies."
-
Gergoth growled and then stomped his foot to make his presence known. "I'm Ori's protecter.. trapped by a mad man. I wish out, if you get in my way I'll hack you down like a brittle. Tree." He spoke in his gruff and cold manner while making some steps forward staring past the figure as he could care less unless quick movements where made. And got a tight grip on his axe while he rolled his shoulders.
-
The small griffon shuddered at the creature's unnatural appearance, and again at the voice's ominous warning. He quickly shut his eyes. If they were all very quiet, perhaps they could...
Too late. The human was talking to it. He warily lowered his head towards where he thought the thing was.
-
The creature, upon Gergoth's outburst, shuddered slightly and spoke again, this time sounding like Ori. "H-Hello? A-Are you there?"
-
Gergoth stopped in his tracks to turn towards the figure and voice as now it has his interest. And was quite relieved to hear her voice. "Yes, I am here... where are you?" He asks knowing a little about magic in the sense of what it can do.
-
"R-Right here," the creature whispered, and it started making it's way towards Gergoth. As it approached, it began to take the form of Ori, but the face was still covered.
"Kill it fast, before it takes your friend," the voice from the ceiling whispered, "stop it fast, or he'll meet his end!"
-
Gergoth was watching the figure intensely was a maiden with blue hair and a thin, shape was stepping forward. Clothed in fancy robes and had only a pale white muzzle sticking out. So to him he was feeling quite relieved. Though something he over heard made him think twice as he studied the way she walked. It was too...strong.. she normally has a limp or more careful step. And so he stopped and stared the figure down.
((Umm I think this RP might be dieing XD))
-
(I don't know what happened! D: Then again, it was originally just going to be the three of us anyway, right?)
The strange voice's ominous warning sent a shiver down Elric's spine. If somebody died here, he didn't want it to be because he did nothing!
"H-here!" He shouted, trying to divert attention towards himself. At the same time, he invoked his innate magics, letting loose a bright flash from his forehead. Did the thing look? Was it blinded? He wasn't about to look at its face to find out.
He cautiously opened his eyes, his quadrupedal posture leaving him looking at the thing's robed legs, and leaped forwards, clawing and biting at them. He was no fighter, but it was better than nothing, right?
-
(Well, this didn't last very long. What happened?)
