Why are you still here?
Or are you even still here?
Is this real?
Or is it all just a bad dream...?
Why did you die on us?
Or did you even die?
Is this hell?
Or is this our world?

You all wake up in a dimly lit lab, all lying on operation tables with the same grey jump suit on....
No windows, only one door. The floor is covered in thick black slime, black hands prints can be seen covering the roof the walls, the floor. A song can be heard faintly coming from a speaking in the corner of the room. It's playing 'It's a long way to Tipperary."
-
((I like the idea. How is this going to work? Character sheets here, or in PM? Or do we just join freely?)
-
((Just join, this RP needs no sheet of any kind))

Cherri's entire body ached. The young feline was unaware of what was happening, as her memory was fuzzy. She didn't know where she was, why she was here... Only that she was here. The first thoughts that popped into her head were, Mother...? Father...? The girl slowly opened her eyes, the dim lighting making it easier to ease them open
-
The lights flickered from time to time, the slime made a sickly noise as it moved across the floor. The music began to cut out in random intervals, " 82 101 118 97 108-" It would cut out and the music would play again
-
Cherri tried to sit up, but her body felt weak, and all she could do was peak her head up to look around the room. She felt too tired to panic, but it didn't stop her from wanting to know more about her situation. After a little bit of time gathering herself, she mustered up the courage to speak. "H...H...H-Hello...?" Her voice was soft and quiet. Part of her wanted nothing to respond. The other part, wanted something or someone to emerge from the shadows.
-
It was silent. Not a sound could be heard other than the faint music and the occasional numbers being spoken.Around the room were more tables with more people laying in them. The room was to dark to tell the faces and to tell if they even were alive.
"117 97 116" the speak spoke then cut to the music again
-
For the mean time, it didn't seem like Cherri was going to get help. As her strength began to return to her, she slowly sat upwards, placing a palm to her forehead. The panic still had yet to set in, but it wasn't going to be long before she cracked.
-
((We will advance out of this room, once we get more people. Just hold on its late :V))
The lights cut out for a few seconds then came back on, it seemed the power was going out. Once the lights came back on, more hand prints could be seen on the walls next to the felines bed.
-
Cherri wasn't one for ghost stories. She absolutely hated them. They had always freaked her out. Noticing the extra marks caused her to panic, so much in fact, she fainted back down onto the bed
(Gotcha)
-
The music continued to play softly and quietly, "105 111 110 32" The speakers spoke the numbers again. Then it cut out and the music continued
-
The wolf, laced inside of a dreamless sleep, heard the soft sound of music reach her ears. Blinking, Faolyn awoke, staring up at a plain ceiling, not the wooden one she had drifted off to. Her nerves kicked into full gear and she jerked upwards, taking in her surroundings. She was laying on a cot or bedding of some sort, dressed in a drab gray outfit that matched the drab grayness of the room. She quickly noticed a thick coating of dark moisture in hand-shaped clumps on the floor and even the walls. The wolf pulled the scratchy gray blanket off of her legs before sitting up, carefully placing her bare feet on the floor. She narrowed her eyes, trying to detect any movement or sound within the other rows of cots.
-
Not a noise could be heard, the radio began to speak numbers again, "67 111 114 112." It cut out again and the music played once again. No movement was seen from the beds. Only bodies that lie still.
-
Zaida eyes suddenly opened and she shot up, her eyes darted around the room trying to grasp what was happening and where she was. Eventually the walls with handprints caught her attention.
-
((We can now finally progress))
The radio cut out and loud stain played, it said these numbers in a awfully fast pace, "82 101 118 97 108 117 97 116 105 111 110 32 67 111 114 112." Loud buzzing came from the radio then it went silent.
-
Cherri woke up again. She didn't want to open her eyes just in case it wasn't just a nightmare, but eventually, the eased open and the panic set in again. She slowly sat up, peering down to the floor. Again, she called out, hoping to get some help. "H-...H-Hello...? A-Anybody...?"
-
Zaida's ears twitch before she pushed herself off the bed and onto her feet her. She looked down at the feline on the bed but not approaching. "Who are you?" The monstress asked.
-
Cherri shuffled back a little away from Zaida, realising she wasn't alone in the room. "U-Umm.... I-I'm um... I'm C-Cherri..."
-
The sharp sound of voices helped clear Faolyn's mind. The static sounds along with the muffled music made her head start to spin. She tried to locate the sound of the two people talking but it seemed like the voices bounced off of the walls at all angles. "Will you keep it down?" she hissed, trying to make out any faces or bodies in the darkness. The hazy way the room was lit was too bright for her night senses to kick in, but too dark to actually make out anything except for the nature of the room and the slime on the walls. "I don't care about who you are or how you got here until we figure out a way to get out."
-
(Is this open?)
-
((Pretty sure it is. Stowe would've changed the title if it wasn't))
-
(Alrighty then)
Connor begins to open his eyes, not realising that this isn't just another average day, he reaches for his lightswitch, but when it wasn't there, he became alert, realising he isn't in his bed, he panicked, letting out an audible gasp

Chapter 1 - Welcome Back
Chapter Theme (Garbage - Not Your Kind Of People)
The music stopped, silence... Nothing could be heard other than the sounds of the other anthros breath and voices.
-
"Well I do, so shut the hell up." She growled before the music which took her by surprise. Zaida approached the wall placing her hand over one of the hand prints trying to think. "I can't rem-" She sighed "Does anyone remember anything?... Anything at all?" She asked taking her hand off the print.
-
Geoff laid silent where he was while listening to the others. Despite lack of words and little movement, he shared their worry.
-
Faolyn shrugged, unfazed by the monster's threat. She gazed around the room, counting three other persons as her eyes adjusted to the strange darkness. "Don't remember a thing. One minute I'm in my house sleeping and the next I wake up here." She watched Zaida curiously as she felt the wall. Faolyn herself got up from the bed and inspected the opposite walls. She was careful not to touch any of the gooey substance, but she found an indentation cleverly hidden between two unoccupied beds. Stepping back, she realized, even in this light, that it was ever-so-slightly disclosed from the rest of the wall. An exit? The wolf pushed on it, but to no luck. Nothing budged. She pressed harder, using her shoulder, but the wall didn't give away. Faolyn growled under her breath and looked back at the others. "I think I found the exit, but I don't know how to open it," she barked, before turning back to the door.
-
Cherri didn't appreciate Faolyn's rude comment, and despite the hostility within Zaida's response, she found herself siding with the monster more. "Umm.. I-I can't umm... remember a t-thing..." she listened closely to the ambient noises, thinking that it wasn't by any coincidence that numbers kept appearing out of no-where.
-
Geoff tried to think back as well but his brain was fuzzed up and dazed. The vague image of a dilapidated set of stairs crossed his mind, but that didn't make any sense. He opted to stay silent about it and scratched fitfully at his right forearm.
-
Connor lifts himself up "W-what the hell" he whispered, just under his breath but still audible
-
A rather loud click could be heard coming from the door at the end of the hallway, a shadow could he seen moving from it and into the darkness
-
Zaida felt the black goo in her hand before wiping it off on the bed. "Nothing huh?" She mumbled. The monstress saw movement from the corner of her eyes and looked over a the door. "What the hell was that?" She hissed.
-
Cherri noticed the door moving and something coming through into the shadows, causing her to let out a small shriek as she fell backwards onto the floor, getting goo on her. "Ow..."
-
"A-are you alright?" Connor asks Cherri, in a worried tone, noticing the goo
-
The hallway leading out through the door was barely lit up, chairs could be seen laying on the ground, blood staining the walls and the black slime covering the walls.
-
Geoff hesitantly rose from his operating table, stepping off into the floor goop with a grimace. That only intensified upon sight of the hallway. "W-what the hell," he muttered.
-
Ray groaned as he awoke, holding his head. "That's the last time I let Jayce talk me into a dare." He sat up slowly and, not realize where he was, shouted at those he saw. "Oi! What're you doin' in m'house?!"
-
The bear turned to the raccoon, raising his hand to point out the unsettling area. "Y-you got quite a freaky house, man..."
-
The hallway made an unsettling creaking noise, the speaker was still producing static and the airr smelt of rotten food and blood.
-
Cherri groaned a little before nodding her head in response to Connor. "W-What is this p-place..."
-
Geoff continued hesitantly walking down the hallway with his nose scrunched, still scratching at the underside of his forearm.
He kept looking back in hope people were following. Maybe this was a bad idea...
-
As Geoff made his way out the slime in the awakening area began to shift and move like it was a creature growing impatient
-
Ray sighed, and stood up. "Hm...mayhaps this isn't my house..."
-
Anxious, Geoff peeked behind himself again and caught a glimpse of the shifting slime.
"G-Guys, come on," he rasped.
-
Cherri slowly stood up, trying to brush off some of the goo on her. "O-Ok..." She made tentative steps in Geoff's direction, her face scrunching up slightly at the horrid stench of the hallway.
-
"Uh... L-lets go" Connor stands, flinching his foot back at the goo, he offers his hand to Cherri
-
Zaida followed the group silently, trying to get her thoughts together. 'Nothing... I remember nothing.' She thought to herself in disbelief. Zaida glanced at the slime "We need to hurry, it can be a threat..."
-
As the group began to move out, the slime began to shift even more. Low rumbles came from the end of the hallway, but it was to dark to even make out what was happening
-
"Wha-... Should we continue? These sounds don't bode too well" The worry is audible in Connor's voice
-
Ray followed the group, and spoke up. "We'd best keep going. There's nothing for us here."
-
Geoff's ears sat against his head while keeping his creeping pace, the stench of blood and rot nauseating. He shuttered at the sounds but progressed to the hallway's end. This was either a torture dungeon or an awfully elaborate haunted house. He sure hoped the latter...
-
Connor follows silently
-
As the group continued down the hallway. A large door sat in front of them, it resembled what looked like an elevator, a small control pad sat next to It with three buttons, a down arrow, a up arrow, and a button with a dot.
-
(You should probably ask him before adding another character like that...)
-
(This is not really what I wanted... If you've been here for years then you'll know what's happening and you don't know what's happening so I really can't have you being this. Either we have a long discussion about the lore and you find out everything so you can be this thing or you act as a normal anthro)
-
((Alright.... I think I'll sit out on this one then... have fun!))
-
Geoff hovered a hesitant finger over the buttons then turned his head to the rest of the group. "... W-which should I press?" he asked.
-
"Try the middle one"
-
Ray nodded. "Middle's neutral. Go for it."
-
Cherri kept a hold of Connor's paw, feeling very scared and uncomfortable. She was staying very silent, not being a good talker to begin with.
-
"Okay," Geoff muttered as he poked the dot button.
-
The door opened. It was just an elevator... Inside the elevator was bright and extremely clean.
-
Geoff blinked, mouth opened slightly and brow furrowed, staring at the spotless elevator for a moment.
"Well, pull my tail if this thing's rigged to fall," he muttered as he stepped in.
-
Connor's grip on Cherri got firmer, as me stepped inside "I-... I don't like this, be careful" he says, softly, turning his head to Cherri
-
As EVERYONE got into the elevator the doors slowly shut and it began to go up. A light tune played as they all stood waiting for the doors too open.
The doors finally opene. What seemed to be a large lab was shown it was dark and rather errie looking. The black slime was no were to be seen only stains of blood and what looked like corpse.
-
Zaida stood in the elevator, studying the blood and corpses lying around. Her stomach twisted however she tried to stay strong not wanting to look vulnerable to the group or any threats. She stepped out of the elevator cautiously and squatted down studying the bodies. "What the **censor** did this..." she murmured.
-
"Do the bodies have anything useful on them?"
-
If the group were to examine and or search the bodies. They would see that none of them would have anything on then, however they all are wearing lab coats or some sort of security uniforms. Maybe if you kept looking a pistol or weapon could be found.
-
Cherri looked around. She was seeing what no innocent 10 year old should ever have to see, but somehow managed to be able to brave through the blood and corpses. Looking at one of the security guards, she found something on his belt; a stun-gun. She gently tugged on Connor's arm and pointed to the weapon, hoping he could use it better than she could.
-
Geoff scanned through every dark corner for something of note like a gun or knife, or really any sign of what could have happened here. For whatever reason, that felt very familiar to him. He was a scavenger looking through old buildings for supplies. Now that mental image of the stairs made some sense, at least. He rubbed the dull edge of his claws against his inner forearm to get at that persistent itch through the jumpsuit sleeve.
-
"Huh, what is it?" Connor turns to the body, he the then leans down and picks up the stun gun "Nice find" he says quietly to Cherri, letting off a faint smile
-
In the distance in one of the many windows showing lab equipment and other scientific tools a dim light from a later could be seen. And what looked like a man could be seen standing next to it, staring at the group.
-
Ray sighed quite loudly through his nose, failing to notice the man at the ladder. "So...we all just...woke up here?"
-
As Zaida studied the area she got back to her feet and looked up, making eye contact with the man.. "Does anyone see that?" She asked.
-
Connor sees the man, he nudges Cherri behind him and tightens his grip on the stungun "H-hello?"
-
Cherri willingly moves behind Connor, but couldn't help but peer out from behind him just to see what was happening.
-
Connor raises his voice, in a more aggressive tone he speaks again "Who are you!?"
-
The man smiled. The light from the lamp cut out and it was pitch black In the room, every room was lit. Expect for this once room
