I wanted to be able to share some of my drawings and i would love some feed back.
and the signature of Shadow is still me- thats just a name i use more commonly elsewhere.

What specifically were you looking on advice for?

well anything really, I'm always looking to try and improve, but i suppose specifically proportions are my big issue.

By proportions I assume you mean anatomy?
(I'm used to proportion being used as a comparison between the elements used in a unified compositions rather then a comparison between parts of a character)
For finding anatomy you're happy with I suggest using one part of the characters body to measure out the rest of the body. The most common, and probably most effective method is by using the head. Count the height/width of the their body using the head. Once you measure out your character this way you'll always know where you're at when drawing them. Example, I'm drawing a little cartoon dude, I want him to be short so I'll make his length the same as four of his own head. Then I find placements of significant body "landmarks" for each head length. So I make the waist two heads down, the knees would be three heads down. I made a little diagram on the fly to help visually explain what I mean. (sry about my hand writing).
Naturally if you aren't shooting for character consistency, rather working towards realistic anatomical proportions, things work a little differently. For that its best to use photo refs until you're confidant. You can still utilize the head measurement system, but realistically most people fall between 6.5 to 7 heads tall.

Thank you that does help- proportions of the body always give me a bit of trouble, i think I've heard this method but i will give it a try! thank you again for the advice White Mage.

oh I've had tons of my mermaid-ish creatures. I love trying to make odd ocean creatures into more humanish creatures. I probably have 5-6 more of them in my sketch book now but their not as good (and one i couldn't get a picture of because it picks up to much glare)
A little picture i worked on for my Chinese teacher to thank her for the semester- I'm kinda happy with it because drawing 'normal' animals isn't something i do as often.
The other is just a little chibi fox

And with regards to felting: Tried it, and after 5 hours I still didn't get a shape (wanted just a ball shape to have a head for a figure I wanted to make). It was all for NOTHING! >_<

Is the fox part dryad? It looks like he has leafs on his arm.
Or part dragon?

I would probably say a bit of both.
I'd say the tail is dragon but the leafs more dryad =)
it's sorta just an amalgamation of nature and fantasy.

My drawings have almost always really relied on outlines and without the outline looks like crap! but I wanted him to look fluffy and furry so I stepped out of my comfort zone a lot and i really love the pay off. I still needed some detail here and there that I didn't do but I'm really happy with it.

before I sign off for the night I figured I'd do a update on recent drawings.
On the Furry Amino app I've started a little 'draw your OC' challenge. I think its just his expression that I love.

I'm actually really surprised that Talon's your favorite, When I designed him I always kind of figured that people wouldn't like him as much because hes a bit more plain and simply not as outgoing or nice. He's the Sona that means the most to me but i just never figured he would get any attention from anyone else- so thank you!

I try to keep an open mind to flaws and just keep practicing to hopefully correct those flaws. I've seen some of your recent drawings and your really improving- so don't sell yourself short.
