And in comes a new forum game. It's a classic game and the rules are pretty simple. Every time you post your post has to start with the next letter of the alphabet, so since this is the first post I started my post with the letter "A", the next post needs to start with "B", the next "C" and so forth.
Once we get to "Z" we go back to "A". The rules is you have to try to make your post as coherent as possible. So, what do you think? :P
-
Best to start this off as best we can, no? :P
(Did I do it right?)
-
Can you please explain the rules again? I'm not sure I understand...
-
Don't know if I can. It's quite hard to explain.
-
Eventually, I'm sure people will get the hang of it.
-
Found it quite easy to understand, so I'm sure that will be the case :)
-
Ground breaking idea for a game! I love it!
-
How are you guys so good at this?
-
I have no idea, I just wandered into this thread looking for the Vending Machine
-
Just so you know, the vending machine thread is a few threads down
-
Kindly, if possible, could someone tell me if I did this right?
-
Looks like you did.
-
More people to post! That's good.
-
No way?! I got it right on the first try? Yay!
-
Or maybe you didn't...
*cue dramatic music*
-
Parades are often noisy. I don't like noise ;_;
-
Quantum mechanics are difficult... There, I did the q for u.
-
Right on time too!
-
Seems to me that everything is falling into place.
-
Too well?
-
Under the spell of the Full Moon a wolf cries out with a long, Mournful howl.
-
Very loud I must say.
Would you mind turning it down a bit?
-
under other circumstances I might, but the moon calls, join me
-
Wait! Naake, you made a mistake! U is already used...
-
XXXXXX... (since it's a family site, that's as close to foul language as I'll go...
Too early in the morning, and no coffee make for a slow Wolf, apparently. Thank you for the 'correct' correction Mary Love
-
You have trouble waking up, don't you?
-
"Zzzzzz..." Zero energy most mornings until the caffine hits
-
All I know is thai lead the anti coffee brigade
-
Because why...?
-
'Cause he doesn't like coffee, obviously.
-
Dang, that makes perfect sense.
-
Everyone should like coffee. That's what you think isn't it?
-
Failure: I absolutely don't think so.
-
Good game so far :D
-
How so?
-
I think he means we're doing well.
-
Just as expected.
-
Know what?
I think we are too
-
Let's continue onward then.
-
Man, that's a good idea!
-
Nah, I say we don't.
-
One more game that looks fun I had not seen before, foxy will be here!
-
possibly a quicker game to get through than some of the others!
-
Quick will be fun, really enjoying having fun (can't wait for creative replies)
-
Rapunzel had a rough life, being held prisoner, but, in the end it was the split ends that nearly ended her!
-
Seems that Rapunzel did have a rough life, hope it isn't too bad anymore
-
That seems to be the case, Disney like to put happy endings in there films... well mostly...
-
Unlike Bambi... That had a happy ending though.
-
Vast majority of films I've seen and stories I've read have a happy ending. I'd like to read a story with an unhappy ending every now and then, but it spoils the reading fun if I know it'll end bad.
-
Well, that's an interesting way to look at it indeed.
-
X-Rays are also an interesting way of looking at things ^^
-
Yes, that's very true indeed!
-
Zero people use X-Rays in their daily lives though. Well, maybe some doctors... and other hospital staff... In fact quite a few people probably do.
Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
-
Ånd now to do something different ... XD(Just count that as A, though in the Swedish alphabet it Å does indeed come after Z)
-
Äh, just keep it going xP
...But on a serious note, we're on B now.
Next one should start with C.
-
Öhhhh.... why not just finish it?
(There, now we've reached the end of the Swedish alphabet, next one could either be A or D, your pick XD)
-
Do you know how confusing you all made this!
-
Excellent, so we're going to add other alphabet symbols/letters as well?
Then I would suggest to do it in order as well :P
-
Fairly sure I don't know how I missed this thread. :D
-
Generally I just don't visit this part of the forum, so its kinda surprising I am here
-
Haha, well, I'm glad you're partaking in this game, Angder :)
-
I hope you're having fun.
-
Just need to make sure I can find the right words. Sometimes this game gets hard. :S
-
Kings and countries! You're really right there. I had trouble with putting a "K" in here. So why not in a call of frustration?
-
Look here, you can't just blurt random words! it needs to flow!
I mean kings and countries. Why not...
erm...
Umm...
I don't know. K is a hard one to do. :S
-
Man, I TOLD you!
-
None of you seem to understand .... But neither do I so... Yeah.
-
Oh well, life itself isn't easy. And you seem to be just a little... slow of understanding.
-
Partake in some chess with me, dear sheep and I shall show you just how "slow" I am! *triggered*
-
Query: you want a chess match with me?
-
Really now, you're asking me if I want to play chess?
-
Say, you were the one stating that if I partook in a chess match with you I'd see how slow you really were.
-
This is not the right time for a fight...
-
U have seen it wrong: this is not a fight, it's a discussion.
-
Vatever. I vill use vis strange accent to get avay vith vis sentence.
-
Well, it doesn't sound right.
-
X-cedrine migraine tablets do work...
-
Yggdrasil sounds like an interesting tree... There, we had the tricky letters.
-
Zoo's are full of animals that love trees
-
As true as that may be, I don't think they're happy in zoos.
-
Based upon what premise?
-
could you be truly happy locked in a cage, even with a habitat correct open area, knowing it was all you would know for the rest of your life?
-
Depends on how good the food is.
-
Earth in a way, is just a huge spherical cage. Yet we all seem happy.
-
Focusing on that aspect, what becomes of the astronauts' happiness?
-
Get a load of this: animals have territories with over 10 km squared in the wild. In zoos, that's merely 10 m squared. Huge difference, they have literally nowhere to go to.
-
How odd that we dare to put them in such cages, actually.
-
I know I'd never go into a cage, unless my pillows and blanky where in there.
-
Just you think about it. A zoo will never be the real environment for animals to live in. And now we're ONLY discussing area.
-
Kinda makes you think.
-
Like, the climate here is totally different from the natural one in most cases.
-
Mary, your talk intrigues me, tell me more!
-
Now, that's not the only side of it. Though they're a public attraction, in zoos animals are at least safe from humans... usually...
-
OMG! I'd never thought of it like that.
-
Pretty shocking, huh? Since humans destroy their natural habitat, in zoos they might be off even better in the long run (and I'm not happy with that).
-
Quality assurance, isn't it? The animals get to live but their homes don't. Go humans :/
-
Really, as a society, we create a giant zoo and put ourselves in it.
-
such deep thoughts...
-
That's quite philosophical of you.
-
Usually I just say stuff, but sometimes it means things.
-
Verbs are very important, without them we wouldn't get anything done!
-
Wow, that's a good point!
-
X... um... Man. Too few words start with X.
But in some account you could see Earth as one giant zoo.
-
Your post confuses me.
-
Zebras are also confused by the X-post... XD
-
Apostrophe S is used for possession, not plural. :P
-
Been fixed, thank you for spotting that!
-
Cool, everyone makes mistakes. :3
-
Doubtless I shall make a mistake one day.
-
Equip yourself accordingly; however, and you can minimize your mistakes.
-
Failing that, just edit them out later. Like I do.
-
Granted, that may be a valid option, but a mistake is a mistake and it still happened.
-
Hey, what are you guys talking about?
-
I have no idea, it's been a while since I last posted here.
-
Just gonna play Starbound, I am.
-
Keys. I never find them when I'd need them.
-
Look for them then, and maybe you'll find them.
-
Most of the time, they just end up in that weird middle-pocket of my purse. They're probably there now too. It is as if it's got a weird key-magnet there or something.
-
No doubt they bounced out when I rolled my car off the overpass.
-
Overpass? Please tell me you're joking
-
Perhaps he will. If he's serious it's just weird.
-
perhaps one of those key minders that janitors use (retractable keys on a string) would be a wise investment?
-
Questionable alphabetics going on here. XD (I don't even have a car!)
-
Regarding this topic I have never seen people construct more ridiculous things for a game.
-
Some games do bring out the creativity in all of us furs! (makes me laugh)
-
True, it does add a sense of purposeful creativity that incites a small topical challenge
-
Umm, in my defense, I didn't realize 'P' had already been played...
-
Violence is not the answer.
-
When did anyone suggest it?
-
Xrays don't show the truth in the heart...
-
Yet they show the truth of what really matters.
-
Zebra's have those things too. ...Why, though...?
-
A good question, but a poor answer.
-
bones, the framework of the body, unless you don't have them!
-
Can you imagine having no bones?
-
Droopy like jelly, we'd be, Mmhm.
-
Easy to see just how important they really are, even if we can't actually see them.
-
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if we were made of jelly, wouldn't we be edible?
-
Don't really want to, would have to shimmy across the ground to get anywhere.... Just a bag of flesh....
-
How did you put D after F?!
-
Incredible magic, I suppose. Or simply missed the new page.
-
Just what I was thinking.
-
'Kay, but I don't know how to continue here.
-
Let me think... perhaps we could talk about Skeleton Man?
-
Many people think he's just a regular man.
-
No! He's not just any man, he's Skeleton Man!
-
Oh. You sure it's not just a fancy title?
-
Pretty sure it's not a fancy title, I am.
-
Question, Who here likes cherries over strawberries?
-
Raspberries are better than both, in my opinion.
-
So you do, that triggered me.
(what is grammar)
-
Traducement was never an issue as I do enjoy all three of the fruits. Ultimately, I did state however, that I selectively choose raspberries as my preferred fruit.
-
Ultimately, I prefer whichever fruit is served with cream.
-
Very relatable preference!
-
Why yes, unless you're lactose intolerant of course.
-
X is an odd letter. Might as well use "ks".
-
Yes, it is...
-
Z is a weird letter too, but at least it serves a purpose.
-
Absolutely! I feel like S tries to take Z's stuff all the time though.
-
Bet you're right!
-
Could you imagine if I was wrong, that would be SO weird...
-
Didn't thought of that Trixsie, it would be awkward but fun too
-
Eventually anything becomes awkward if you do it long enough.
-
Forever is a long time to be doing anything
-
Generally if something takes longer than 10 minutes I tend to... ooh something shiny!
-
How can someone be so easily distracted by something so tantalizing and so shiny...erm...can I play with it when you're done?
-
I'm happy to share, so long as I don't get distrac- LOOK A PUPPY!!!
-
Jealous...that's what I am right now because you have a puppy and I don't.
-
King-size distraction, small puppy.
-
Love between a puppy and their owner is a thing of beauty.
-
My dog is the light of my life. X3
-
Never seen a dragon walking a dog before.
-
Oh? Is that on this planet even possible?
-
Pfft, I don't even know whats going on XP
-
Quoting Trixie Vixen: "Never seen a dragon walking a dog before."
-
Replying to that: I understand wasn't specifically talking about that part XP
-
Sooo... you completely lost track.
-
To be honest not really well a actually a bit was never really on track to start with here, I could have just read back but just said that to make a sentence X3
-
Usually that's not the best idea.
-
Very well! I shall accept the challenge! Permission to come aboard this thread, Captain?
-
Welcome aboard Blue Fox! *Grin*Blue... X3
-
X-citing! You must know me from somewhere else, I take it? ^_^ I'm kinda... all over the place down here....
-
Yes, I've seen your name pop up pretty much everywhere
-
Zero to One-Hundred posts in 5.7 days X3 I have no life atm.
-
Allright, time to get those rookie numbers up
-
Blue is a cool colour for a fox!
-
come on Trixsie, be a bit more original there
-
Dare I say it, I'm not sure if the Forums could take me being too original.
-
Exactly, but that's the reason why you should do it: find the limits of the forum and exceed them
-
Forum limitation expansion is like fishing a tea leaf from a cup with a spoon.
-
Go ahead and just do it, break the limits and set the forum free XD
-
Haha! Trust me, I've had a few moments of pushing the limits... *whistles innocently*
-
I might have a great idea now.
It might result in a perma-ban for me tho.
I might be sorry about that :P
-
Just remember: there is no "I" in "meat".
-
Kevin, I hope I just wouldn't be seen as a Kevin when breaking through the forum limits
-
LMFAO! That is so funny. You remind me of someone called Kevin.
-
Matter of fact: I know a few people called Kevin as well
-
No way? I guess it is more widespread than I realised.
-
Oh right before I forget to tell you: I'm not going to say 11 in the users vs mods thread :P
-
Probably the ideal is to let me post the 11 then I can't double post.
-
Quality banter, that's something you could also post :)
-
Roger that, over.
-
So... how are things?
-
Too much random stuff.
-
uhm, that was quite unexpected that you would answer :P Not that it is a bit thing tho ;)
-
Very big things happening right now wouldn't you agree
-
What things would that be?
-
Xenophobic hate crimes happening in this poor world we live in
(X is hard >w<)
-
Yeah, I wish there were more of those good acts tho
-
Zebra's too. Just to use "z".
-
Allright, that was quite the original ending
-
Beware: weird sentences
-
Common sentences are also good for me
-
Don't you think we should expand our vocabulary?
-
Ehm... With what sort of words?
-
For instance Mary, we could use scientific words?
-
Great idea! How about, Fantastic, Elaborate, Treacherous or gut. :D
-
Heck, why even stop there? Go deeper, search for ancient words, shakespearian language even
-
I know all of the words you just said, Rasha. Give up.
-
Just let me dig up my dictionary of old words for you guys.
-
Kant would be a great inspiration for use to use
-
Let me be the judge of that myself.
-
Might I suggest usage of the words "balter" or "saunter"?
-
No, I'm affraid I have to respond negative to your question
-
Oh. Well, maybe if you were baltering instead of sauntering, you would have responded positively ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Possibly, yet you would have to give proper argumentation
-
Quit bickering!
-
Respect each other and resolve this issue, or Else!
-
So what? I'll prove my right
-
That seems like a grammatical error Bricket, did you mean "I'll prove I'm right"? xD
-
Utter faillure I could say, luckily I have the language barrier to blame
-
Very good cover, might I say, dear Bricket. What, what. *sips tea*
-
Well, not much seems to have changed here.
-
Yes indeed Blue Fox; Michen, we're a bit conservative it seems
-
You skipped the X... Is it too hard?
-
Ah Right
Better be sorry for that
Can't you forgive me for that mistake?
Don't other people make mistakes too?
Examples can be easy found.
For some reason I did skip the X
"Go Ahead, use the Y" I thought
Hands down that I made a fatal error there.
I apologize for that.
Just such a stupid mistake.
'Kay, I shouldn't laugh at other people their mistakes.
Like: don't tell a few letters.
Maybe it's better if I get a penalty here;
Now, what should I do? Give myself a ban?
Or something else?
Probably a mix of both?
Questioning my further actions in this game in the future is maybe something I should do.
Right now however I should keep playing this game
Stopping now would be counter-productive.
Tho, I got to admit: a break now and then isn't too bad.
Uhm might have lost my train of thought here
Very easily I can forget what I was going to say or type.
What was it tho?
Xenophobic stuff?
Yes, I think I have it.
Zebra, I was going to say Zebra.
-
...
1 problem I have: what letter's next?
-
Answer: the Letter "A"
-
Boy you sure took the whole game in your own paws, though you said M before L.
-
'Course that was bound to happen sooner or later.
-
Do I have the right to say that I made an error in design?
-
Err... I think you do?
-
False. The rules and stipulations should be upheld at all times.
-
Gee, that's harsh.
-
Hey. May I remind you he edited it correctly?
-
I did not know until now. But I am stubborn by nature, so I will stick to my verdict.
-
Just forget it already, ok?
-
Knowledge of the mistake can't be forgotten, though we must always be aware that all efforts were made to mend it
-
Let it be. Eventually we'll forget it anyway.
-
Maybe just this once, I'll let it slide. Consider it an act of generosity.
-
Now let's continue, shall we?
-
Okay, if you insist.
-
possibly meet some new furs?
-
Question is; who?
-
Really does it matter who, as long as we broaden our social circles?
-
So, a meet-up let's say?
-
Totally an interesting thought.
-
Usually I avoid big crowds. Online, however, they're not physical. So why not?
-
Verald isn't a real name...is it?
-
Why do you ask?
-
Xenophobians should know that virtually anything can be a name.
-
You're right. Petrula is a good example of that, as odd as it sounds.
-
Zealous, aren't we? It's a weird name alright.
-
Almost as unique as my name.
-
Bet you've never looked your name up in Urban Dictionary
-
Cool name, but remember: just because something is unique it doesn''t make it special
-
Dare I say I have, Trixsie, and it made zero sense.
-
Enlighten us about that matter please
-
For crying out loud, it says it's a metrosexual. I have never in my life heard that before, it sounds made up.
-
Goh... maybe a metrosexual is attracted metrotrains? (I know the real meaning of the word tho)
-
Huh. Well I know what a metrosexual is, but I don't think "Michen" means metrosexual.
-
I don't know what it means besides being a Dutch name
-
Just a name I made up.
-
Kevin, Kenneth, etc. they were also made-up names at some point. But it seems I was mistaken: Michen is used in Bretagne
-
Literally everything is made up.
-
Made up?! Can't we trust anything anymore?
-
No, we can't trust anything anymore
-
On the contrary, that's the only thing you can trust.
-
Possibly, but just better be safe than sorry
-
Query: how could I take the name from Bretagne if I can't find it with Google?
-
Rather easy, type the name in here
http://nl.geneanet.org/familienamen/van%20MIEGROET (http://nl.geneanet.org/familienamen/van%20MIEGROET)
-
So, it's a surname... Didn't even know that.
-
Thanks to the internet you now know
-
Unlikely it'll help me in any other way.
-
Very doubtful about that, you never know when it'll come in handy!
-
Well, I have a funny feeling I'll forget soon anyways.
-
Xenon containers can't even know.
-
You handled that x really well.
-
Zoos could be useful here. (jk)
-
Almost correct.
We already are a zoo.
-
Beware: difference in perspective
-
Can I even argue with that? Yes, I can.
-
Definately, you can argue about just about anything.
-
Exactly why I'm going to argue about how the 'a' in 'definately' should be an 'i'.
-
Forget it already...
-
Go ahead, but I'll never forget what you did, what you said.
-
Hoo... Should be afraid now?
'Cos I'm not.
-
I guess it didn't work.
-
Just so you know.
-
Kisses and hugs and I'm off again! ^_^ I'll drop by again sometime!
-
Later alligator.
I knew that sentence would come in handy sometime...
-
Michen, you have outdone yourself sir!
-
Nah, a lot of people use that saying.
-
On that subject Michen: maybe they're right?
-
Precisely Bricket, your insight is insightful.
-
Quality insight I have, even tho I wear glasses
-
Really? In that case, thanks I guess?
-
Simply put, I like chocolate.
-
Theoretically, that sentence doesn't fit in.
-
Uh, Mary? Can I respond to that?
-
Very well... In that case it's technically not fitting!
-
Who cares? :D
-
Xenon does!
-
You do, silly.
-
Zo what? I don't care about that!
(Yes the typo is on purpose)
-
A long way from correct, because you were the one that said it doesn't fit.
-
Bro... It doesn't really matter anyway.
-
Can't even remember the last time I posted here, it was quite a while ago.
-
Do you like it here?
-
Everyone likes it here, Mary :)
-
For real? I think its starting to drag.
-
Gee, he's right. It was stuck for over a month.
-
Heh, looks like I crashed the thread! :D
-
I think it could've also been me.
-
Jokes aside, I can't remember what letter we're up to.
-
K! It was the K!
-
Like, it's not hard to figure it out if you just look at the prior responses...
-
Man, this game is pretty straightforward if you ask me.
-
Nothing could be more straightforward
-
Oh, that's why...
-
Pretty straightforward, yup.
-
Quotation of my mind: VERY straightforward.
