Post by: guest22811 on September 27, 2016, 01:25:05 PM
Welcome to Euharmonics' Animation And Art Thread!

Introduction
This thread is for me to show off my artworks and animations.
Most of my animations can be found here.
www.youtube.com/c/euharmonics (http://www.youtube.com/c/euharmonics)

Most of my art can be found here. http://euharmonics.deviantart.com/ (http://euharmonics.deviantart.com/)
Everyone is welcome here to talk about anything related to animation/art! It doesn't always have to be about me. At this moment I'm not too concerned.

Showcasing

Animation

Not all my animations are here! These are just some of my personal favorites. All of my work can be found at my YouTube channel. There's too many to fit on this post lmao

Commonly Asked Questions
These are questions that are normally asked by my school classmates. They may answer what you're looking for. If not, start asking!

Q: What animation /art  software do you use?
A: I use Adobe Flash Professional CS3 and firealpaca.

Q: What tablet do you use?
A: I used to use a Huion H420 tablet. If you are getting a tablet I highly recommend you not to get one of these. They break too easily. I have already gone through 2 of their pens. I currently use a Wacom Intuos and I highly suggest you to buy one of these if you are searching for a tablet to buy!

Q: How long does it take for you to animate something?
A: Well, it really depends. For something that is, for example, 5 seconds long, with full colour, shading, lighting, lots of movement and a colourful background, it can easily take up to 3 hours or more. However I usually don't animate that sort of stuff.

Q: When did you start animating?
A: Somewhere at the beginning of 2016. It's not like I remember the exact date lol. But I think it was in January.

Just thought it would be cool to post here

I found this old drawing I did on the train to school last time and thought it was cute :3 so I laminated it and now use it as a bookmark :D

I'm not that great at drawing furries so don't expect that much furry art >_>

Very dynamic, quite nice. I can see clearly it's about two characters in a duel. Pretty neat. I can also make out the emotions/expressions they have. So well done on that.
(The link you posted turned to tiny text, not sure if you were aware of this? ;3; )

I need to decide a setting for my animation! :D
Can everyone give me some ideas?
I prefer a place that is
- Serene
- Preferably flat
- Still interesting and colorful to look at
- No one around (so no cities, etc)
- Not too annoying to draw
It doesn't need to match all the requirements. I would just prefer something similar to what I stated.
Anyone who contributes will be thanked in my video! :3

What about these as examples:

(https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/lake-forest-winter-scandinavia-white-quiet-49336226.jpg)(https://1wgitf31ln5o18gmn78bz4pw-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Foggy-forest-2048x1152.jpg)(http://c8.alamy.com/comp/D0TYFJ/scandinavia-finland-north-europe-northern-europe-country-travel-vacation-D0TYFJ.jpg)

So you can create an open area and in the background a treeline. The trees don't have to be complicated at all either :)

I was going to use the one with the trees, but then I remembered that there's a flying dragon. I honestly cbbs to draw a lotta trees just for the flight/perspective scene LMAO

cbbs?
Also, you could make it easier to draw something like this:

You don't have to draw each tree then individually or spend much detail, the trees are in the background and you can blur it out or copy rows of trees, etc. :)
