Howdy folks!
I find myself in the mood for a small and short rp, one with a clear ending in mind.
One where the heroes /dont / have to win.
I was thinking of a midevil setting with 3 possible ideas in mind.
A: a team of overconfident heroes raid a dungeon for lost treasure guarded by a lurking horror.
B: a team of monster hunnters meet their match when taking a job to help out a village.
C: a small group of thieves escape justice only to find a potentially worse fate awaiting for them where they hide.
These are just a few ideas that roll off the top of my head. I am open to suggestions and I have no preference who plays the monster(s) attacking the heroes :3

I hope so ^.^ Im looking for 1 to 2 players. What ever we do Im shooting for regular story styled (short to long paragraph) rp here on the site.
Players are welcome to toss ideas onto the thread, whether or not they are interested in being the monster or an adventurer etc etc XD

And where will the thieves encounter their horrible fate? In a backwoods village? Shack? Ruins / Dungeon? Etc etc. Im open to ideas :D

Ok, we can roll dice to see where our heroes er, villains end up later in ths story, but we can start with a setting and work from there.
Theme:
Port Horizon has always been a blight upon the coast line. A port with out law or order it has always been a gathering place of scum and villainy. Pirates, thieves, bandits and outlaws. All manner of strange beasts and beastly peoples have been welcome here for the better part a decade.
At least until the imperial navy burned it to the ground, rounding up those who survived and shipping them off to face the justice of the executioners ax. A small group of theives from different walks of life have however managed to escape imperial patrols, moving deeper inland on a poorly explored continent.
But will their escape prove to be their undoing?
Setting: mid evil with trace ammounts of steam punk. Rapiers swords and muskets etc etc.

Name: Talia
Species: Cross Fox
Gender: Female
Description: Talia at first glance does not stand out in a crowd. Assuming that crowd is full of bandits and thugs.
Her fur is a combination of earthy colors. Her back, sides and arms are orange while her hips and legs are grey. Her paws, tail tip and under belly are black. Under this unusual hide the fox has excess weight to her frame, putting flesh to her stomach and hips.
She has a total of five gold clip earings, three in her right and two on her left due to the sizable hole at the base of her ear. She wears a red scarf and a sleeveless vest that leaves ber midrif bare, cor better or worse.
She carries a glaive for protection, a small pole arm with a curved blade.
Personality: Xia lives up to all the steriotypes about foxes being sly and crafty and then some. A thief and highway bandit she is quick to action, be it good or bad, and quicker to spending all her hard earned loot on fine wine, food, and comfortable lodging.

Description: JJ, a broad shouldered grey and brown bear, known for his cold stare and large body, lost use of one of his eyes in a fight with a black panther back when he was 14. His left eye, permenatly closed with three scratch marks, close to one another. He generally dresses down, a cloth, sleeveless shirt, and loose fitting green pants. He also Dawn's a tattered cloak, it's base tan stained with dark browns and reds. He conceals a blade under his cloak, and carries a sack around on his back. His face is covered in a thick black beard.
Personality: JJ is a cruel man. Clever and witty, with a masochistic infatuation with developing poisons and the study of diseases. If you had no idea who he was, you would never know of his cruel nature. He hides his true face behind a realistic persona. He has killed and infected hundreds, leaving a trail of death behind him. He has no fear of disease. In fact, he has no fear, at lease, none that have been noted. He doesn't fear disease, because he's already infected. He's going to die. But when, isn't clear.

If we dont get anyone else, I could make another character. May do it anywyas if you're cool with it. Got an interesting female character in my head.

Description:He is a strapping young fellow who looks quite handsome for someone with his occupation. He is his captains first mate and closest friend. He also has quite the body build as well. He is a skilled marksman and is quick on his feet and not very good with any close range weapon but his claws. He wears a black trench coat aligned with four double barrel flint lock pistols on each side. He also wears black pants held up by a belt with three fuse grenades attached, it continues down wearing black gold trimmed boots with a small flintlock in each one, and he wears a dark grey shirt under his trench. He carries two muskets with a bag of ammo and gun powder.
Personality: He is a dishonest theiving rat when he needs to be but also really good with the women no matter how tough they may be. He enjoys killing with a passion and likes doing so from a distance.He also has an addiction to gold so bad he would die for it. He has only three fears :(1)He fears the beast beneath the ocean(2)He fears the nuce(3)He is afraid of his family seeing what he has become.

And I am perfectly fine with anyone playing the monster :3 I was only going to play the munster because there were only 2 of us o.o but if you have an idea I say go for it o.o

Description: He is a proud and honorable knight who went out with his prayers in hand and mind set on exploring the world. And searching for his a lord to serve under for the rest of his days. Armed with the blessing's of his God of sunlight, and his two handed German great sword. He sets out to find some jolly cooperation. But under his curvy onion shaped full plate. Is a black furred, platy. His eves, if anyone could see them though the helm, are violent. While his bill has a yellow tint to it. But his gear manly consist of food, spare charms, and armor polish, all kept in his back pack.
Personality: He is a big softy. Though he loves his battles or puzzles. He is more of a thinker then a brawn. But the problem comes in his misleading ideals and poor fore thought that leads him to much trouble. But when his mind is clear and set on the right path. He is a wonderful warrior of joy, with honarble morals. And after wards might even share his special home brew of cider.
