Hi! I want to start an adventure/friendship/character based roleplay story for three people, myself being one of them.
Rules:
Please no power playing! Use your character's weaknesses with their strengths to make a more enjoyable story for all of us.
Please write in complete sentences, with an appropriate amount of substance for the next person to go off of.
Please add more than just dialogue in your reply! I know this won't always be possible, but just do your best : )
Don't control other's characters! It's okay if it's necessary, ie "They all looked up to see a stranger had entered the room..." etc, but try to avoid speaking/acting for others.
To join:
PM me with a reference of your character, written or drawn (preferably drawn) with a basic synopsis of their traits, abilities and stats. Make sure to have at least name, pronouns, main motivation, temperament, etc. You don't have to have a background or completely solid character yet. I like to roleplay to find my character and how they act by just throwing them into the scenario right away! You may join any time there is an open slot and you have PMed me first so I can arrange to put your character in/review submissions/etc.
To leave:
If you're no longer interested in the role play, feel free to leave! Please PM me and write your character out of the storyline, ie "And after finding what he had lost, he returns back to his home to...". If you don't want to, I will do it for you if you'd like.

he/him pronouns. Twenty something. Funloving, determined to a fault, and hates making sacrifices. He has no special abilities, and he's a little self conscious about it. I'll add more here soon : )

he/him pronouns. Red fox with green L marking from arm to tail. Chubby, strong legs and less strong arms. Has some magic abilities, but they often backfire. He is kind and lighthearted, and will always defend his friends even though he doesn't like seeing others hurt.

he/him pronouns. 36 years old.6'2". 205lbs.Manic, quick, and intelligent, (and below average strength) is a doctor who's ideas are too radical for normal society, through darker sciences he seeks to create eternal life through the process of Necromancy.Like most things progress costs, and he must find a way to fund his dark sciences. An expert in medicine and surgery he works as a doctor on the outskirts for any that can pay, when fighting is required he works well with knives prefering a close quarters fight precisely disabling his opponent, he has a gun in his bag but has rarely fired it outside of the lab.
World:
Magic is semi common, but society isn't built on it. All people in this world are furries, and clothing is optional (some regions tend to have taboos against nudity, though). Technology similar to today's, except maybe less so. Like, 1995 technology.
Story so far:
Alex is in the woods, searching for a flower which he's heard makes a magical tea which can unlock magic powers, which he doesn't have.
Currently:
John and Alex are in the woods. Their magical campfire has ignited a seemingly unstoppable forest fire.

Alex looks over at John, the light filtering through the trees and casting speckled shadows across John's face.
"Thank you for coming with me. I know you didn't have to, and right now wasn't really the greatest time for you and..." he trails off, looking back down at his bare feet as he shuffles through the fallen leaves scattered across the damp ground of the forest. His second set of ears twitch back, and then his front ones, and he looks up at the sky abruptly. Almost instantly, an intense storm drives down at his face. "Let's find somewhere to stop for the night." he says. "I think I saw a place a hundred yards back where we could rest."

This is a note from Nick Sintari. The topic originally in the Serious RP board has been merged with the appropriate OOC topic. Introductions to a roleplay as well as signups should always be done in OOC boards, especially in terms of serious roleplays. Thus, a new Serious RP post will need to be made, starting the roleplay from the top.

Hey guys! I noticed we haven't been adhering to the post order, would you two prefer if we decided to abolish it completely, or should we start using it? Honestly, I'm up for whatever, but I think a post order is nice so that all characters have a chance to interact with the story.

Hi guys! I'm going to be away for 2+ days, so I can't reply to the board. Please do not take off without me; just pause the story for a few days till I can get back and participate.

I'm not really interested in roleplaying anymore. I'm going to write myself out of the story as soon as I get confirmation from a replacement.
