The year is 1663, and the city of Tricerro, Italy has not seen much crime in about a century. However, in recent years an organized street gang, known as the Morticellos, have been terrorizing the civilians of Tricerro. Their motives are unknown, and the authorities have so far been unable to attain any leads on their whereabouts. It was leaked to the public that a few of the Morticellos' members had been captured by the authorities, but they were found dead before they were brought in for questioning. Rumors are now spreading about a rival vigilante gang that is determined to drive out and eliminate the Morticellos without the help of the authorities. (Participants in the RP can choose for their character to be with the Morticellos, Police, or the vigilantes.)

Species: Chamitataxus Avitus (relative to the American Badger)

Clothing: Sun bleached loose green tunic with brown boots and pants. Wears jack chains on arms when fighting.
Weapons of choice: Persian Shamshir with a basket hilt and a work knife.
Physical Description: His fur is the color of dried out grass, and his build is slim and lanky. His facial markings are same as that of a badger. His paws have white fur instead of black, and he has a thin vertical line of white fur from his adam's apple to his solar plexus. His hair is coarse and white. It stems from the white stripe along his head and back, and falls to one side. He stands 6ft 1in (~1.85m) in height when standing upright.
Birthplace: Tricerro, Italy.

Major flaws: Has a major superiority complex.
Extra/Misc: Close friends with a blacksmith from outside the city. Afraid of the sea and fast flowing rivers.

Name: Velcro
Gender (specify pronouns): Physical female, but dresses up -and prefers to be referred to and seen- as a male. So he/his/him.
Species: Mythological avian (a mythological avian; a hybrid/mixture of a variety of 'paradise' birds)
Age: 31
Physical Description: Sleek, slender, thin build. Has two hardened feathers (or horns) on the head pointing backwards, slightly covered by other, softer feathers. Bright coloured eyes which can change colour, most often between yellow/amber, grey, green/turquoise and blue. Usually the eye colour is a combination of all the previously mentioned colours. They have wings, but clip their own wings on a regular basis. Having them grow to their full length, however, the wings are enormous. The feathers are/body is mostly neutral coloured (white, grey, brown, beige), but with paradise colours worked in (bright reds, greens, purples, blues, yellows). Tail feathers form into a makeshift tail and has some longer tail feathers sticking out. Head build has a sharp 'edge' to it: Head anatomy base is similar to that of an Eurasion Griffon Vulture, but with a slightly longer, pointier and sharper beak.
Velcro always wears a ring with the image of a Thunderbird engraved on it (serpents crawling on the sides of the ring), secondary ring they wear (but not always) has a Phoenix carved in it, and/or also wearing a necklace/pendant of an owl (Minerva's Owl (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5c/Tetradrachm_Athens_480-420BC_MBA_Lyon.jpg)).
Clothing: Dresses up often 'dandy-styled' for the time period. Loves to wear something on their head, like a hat/cap or could use a hoodie of some sorts (like robes with hoods). Wearing one of those 'half' shoulder-capes is also often preferred.

Physical Description: slim and not very tall, very agile, silver scales, a green and a blue eye, dark blue wing lether claws and horns.
Clothing: loose with shirt with a bottomed up black leather vest, baggy brown pants and low black boots.
Weapon of Choice: spear (the spear closer to the camera https://cdn1.epicgames.com/ue/item/medievalweapons_screenshot_02-1920x1080-eb8f3f2613d1d27fa87504e9c5b7afd5.png), a small crossbow.
Birthplace: Amsterdam.

Updated some information, not entirely all done yet though :)
Also I won't be able to come online at all (or at least there is a high chance I won't be able to) from the 15th onwards for about a week, due to EuroFurence. And, I hope shoon doesn't mind, but they also mentioned they might not be able to start this week yet either.

I like your writing, Ginger Ale. I don't know yet how to respond, if I should let my character meet yours or just catching a glimp of yours. I'll think of something though, but what is your idea right now to go with the plot, if I may ask? o3o

Thanks, Ventus. I don't know about what everyone else wants, but I want to ease into the plot for now, until everyone has had a chance to post.
Also, if anyone's characters decide to go downtown at dusk, there is a good chance Fulvius will be there, doing something.
Shoon, could you please be more precise with your formatting? I don't mean to be rude or anything, but - to me at least - a serious roleplay should not only be serious, but look like it as well. Nonetheless, I like the way your character is mysterious, but not edgy. It's nice.

I believe Ginger Ale meant with formatting the way how things were written (spelled) rather than how things are told. (Though correct me if I'm wrong, Ginger Ale :) )
E.g. the first letters of a few sentence aren't capitalised, typo's/spelling mistakes, that kind of thing which could make it harder to read for some. I think that is what Ginger Ale meant.
So, in which case, just to give an example:
he sat down at the small round tbale and ate it slowly, thinking about he he mostly just got here and already enjoying it. he finished the food and orginaized aftter himself and went to the large makeshift "training" room to preform daily practice before the day began.
That's just a part from your post, Shoon, where I made the words which could use some fixing to make it easier to read and would make it look nicer as well :)

Anyways, back on track. The Mus family, are those part of the Morticellos, or the vigilantes?
I'm not sure where Ratface would fall under. He is a loner, but would take orders from someone else if they pay and treat him well. Considering he is a rodent and you mentioned rodents in the RP, where would he best fall under? :)

A simple white rat with a black mole on his left cheek. He also wears a sharp tooth as a necklace around his neck.
Clothing: Often wearing simple and ragged clothing, mostly unclean. However, when he needs to operate in stealth and has to wear specific clothing, he can easily get his ratty claws on them. He wears sleek black gloves to cover his delicate, thin hands. He might wear dirty clothing from time to time, but he cannot stand dirty hands.
Weapon of Choice: Any (throwing) knife or saber he can find, but preferably would use his wits to get out of a situation (he likes to talk).
Birthplace: Unknown to him.

Major flaws: While highly intelligent he is also manipulative, and it is this exact reason why he is alone and does not have many friends.
Extra/Misc:
It's unclear where Ratface's name comes from. Maybe because he was the only rat in his neighborhood, and rats have the reputation of being untrustworthy? Or maybe because they thought he was some other animal, so they called him ratface, only to find out later he was an actual rat.
It's not quite certain, but either way he goes by that name.
Another name Ratface is often referred to is 'The Mole'. Not just because of the mole he has on his left cheek, but also because he is often used to infiltrate certain places, societies, etc. His intelligence often proceeds him and he sometimes finds himself in difficult or delicate situations. So far he's been able to sneak out of these kinds of situations. His reputation makes it harder for him to do his job.
He often uses his thin, long fingers to pick locks and such, thus he wants to prevent anything happening to his hands, as he sees them as his most useful aspect.

The Morticellos are basically an all-rodent mafia. Your character could certainly join them, if you wish.

Is there anything I need to know to partake in the Morticellos?

The Morticellos are looked down upon by many in the main part of the city, however the southern district is mostly undisturbed by their presence. It is the belief of the Morticellos that the rodent race is the most capable of power, and through strength, wits, and crime, they hope to once again seize control over Tricerro, and possibly all of Italy.
The Morticellos are currently a small power, but they are steadily gaining support, by both voluntary action and through acts of violence in the main district of the city. The small portion of rodent in the main district are seen as traitors in the eyes of the Morticellos, and are prime targets for kidnapping and the extraction of information.
Ruthless in their cause, they will act swiftly on all possible threats to the details of their plans. Their leader is not known, and they intend to keep it so. Upon being informed of the incarceration of one of their fellow members, they are either broken out of prison, or killed.
However, the Morticellos are threatened by small bands of loosely connected vigilantes who strive for peace in the city Tricerro. The vigilantes are not very coordinated yet, but already they stand to be more of a threat than the police force whose focus is on dealing with the Morticellos.
tl;dr: Morticellos are a radical group, strictly rodent, that fight for power through crime; they are threatened by vigilantes who do not agree with their cause.

New post is up! Anyone who wants to take action and challenge Fulvius, I can give a description of his fighting technique.
Fulvius likes to use his enemy's momentum to his advantage. He is taller than average, but quite lean and wiry. He is rarely aggressive, relying on blocks, parries, and counters to defeat his foes. In combat, he also will use his legs to his advantage, and if an opening is found, he will trip his opponent. If he is lucky, he can break the ankles, floating ribs, or knees of his opponent, and if he is losing a fight, it is not beneath him to go for the the groin.
Basically, he is very read-heavy, and is only aggressive when he knows there is no other option, or if the opportunity presents itself.
Also, the sword he currently carries is similar to a Persian Shamshir, with a crossbar larger than average. There are no designs on the blade other than a clean polish, and a more than satisfactory edge.
