*Connor climbs through the rubble of a broken building, about 5 stories high trying to reach the roof to get a better view of the surrounding city*

Razuel had been mutated from the blast, his body having grown into a massive dragon, and as David stepped into the building, the ground moved a bit. David had accidentally woken up this feral-minded creature, having being buried under stone and dirt in the blast.

*Connor aims his gun around, making sure the area's clear, unaware of Razuel's presence*

Raz slowly stood up, the ground moving off of him, rocks, dirt, and other miscellaneous materials rolling off of his figure to reveal his dull-shined black scales and large body, then as he regained his thoughts, he looked around and saw Connor on his back still, glaring at them, waiting for them to move

*Connor, out of reflex snaps his aim onto the stranger* "I'm friendly!"

Raz tilted his head at Connor, trying to understand him, "Fri...friendly?", as Raz filed the word through his mind, he picked up Connor off of his back and set him down infront of him and nuzzled them, "Friendly~"

"Uhh, yeah... Friendly, I guess you're friendly aswel?"

Raz nodded and nuzzles Connor until he heard something, the shuffling of feet and groans getting closer to them, growling at the noises and standing up, pushing Connor behind him.

*Connor lowers his voice* "Oh shit,how'd they get up here?"

Sparks of fire flared up around Raz as the stone in his chest grew brighter, and when the creature stepped into view, Raz let off a torrent of fire that quickly stopped to reveal a charred corpse....
When the tension settled, Raz looked under himself at Connor, "Okay?"

*Connor is cleary shocked* "Tha- Uh- Wow!"

Raz looked worried at Connor, "Did I hurt?..."

"No... No... You just suprised me is all"

Raz nodded and perked up when his belly grumbled, putting a paw to it and walking over to the charred remains, poking it with his snout and sniffing it to see if it was safe.

"You're gonna eat that thing?"

Raz opened his mouth wide and chomped down on the charred corpse, the sound of bones breaking and squishing flesh... but no blood. Raz ate the safe bits and spat out the heart and bones, the heart seemed to still be beating but stopped shortly after a breeze blew through, Raz poked it with his muzzle, curious to what it is.

"Eh, don't poke it"

*Do you have a name?*

Raz swallowed down the bit of the corpse and let out a wheezing cough, and then looked at Connor, "You... name?", Raz still retained a sense of speech, he knows how to speak normally... just this state of body and mind retains him from speaking normally, so he meant to say 'what's your name?'.

"My name? Connor..."

Raz pointed to himself with a paw, "Ra... Razz..uel..", he then heard the creaking of a car some ways off and the sound of scuffing and he looked outside to see the tip of a tail sitting just out from under the car, he then pointed with a paw and looked at Connor, "Commor? Lo... look..."

*Connor then walks over alongside Razuel* "Huh... Should we check what it is?"

Alai sighed, sitting on the roof of a crumbling building--one of the few that still stood freely. She had taken the transformation from human to... whatever the hell she was, rather well. She admired her glossy black coat, her sharp yellow eyes, and the amount of raw, wild instinct to add to her already powerful muscles, which rippled under her sleek ebony fur. Her body was still sore from the blast, the sudden body swap and getting used to the sharp, long incisors in her mouth, but they would go away with time. Her ears perked at the sound of voices, and she turned to see two figures, a fox and a dragon, stopping to look at something on the ground below her. Alai quickly got to her feet and then crouched down, her hand on the machete at her waist. Even though she possessed a firearm, she felt much more comfortable fighting in close combat. Her eyes narrow, she peered out at the peculiar pair, unsure of their motives or whether or not they were competition. They appeared to be just passing through, but Alai wasn't the type to take chances. She flattened her ears and kept her body as low to the roof as possible. Whatever they were doing or planning, she didn't want to end up with blood on her hands (or now paws) and injuries to tend.

Raz nodded and slowly walked out of the building towards the car that something was under

*Connor slipped the mag out of his gun, checked it, then slipped it back in and trailed behind Razuel*

Raz flipped the car and a weird looking pet cat hissed at Raz and scurried away, Raz just looked at it run away and looked disappointed

"... That was.... Eventful"

Raz huffed and his belly grumbled again and he wrenched his body, followed by a black vomit, Raz then rubbed his belly and groaned, "...hungry..."

"Damn, you alright?" *Connor rests his hand on Razuels back*

Raz coughed and looked at Connor, "Bad meat...", Raz said in a wavering tone, "Hungry.... Connor.."

"... Let's try and find some fruit I guess"

Nodded with a groan and followed Connor.

*Connor stumbled through the foliage, heading in no particular direction*

Alai quickly grew bored of watching the dragon and the fox. She figured it was best to stay away from them and if they met, she would see then if they meant harm. She silently jumped down from the roof of the building, landing on her feet, and turned into an alleyway. She might as well hunt. Scanning the area for prey, she detected a plump rat scuttling by a moldy cardboard box. Alai reached for the machete, flexing her fingers and killed the rat with a swift slice of the blade. She crouched over it, cleaning and skinning it with her knife before pulling one of her few precious plastic bags out of the satchel on her belt. She carefully wrapped the prey and removed as much air as she could out of the bag before tying it and placing it back into the sturdy pouch. Confident in her catch but not cocky, she pressed onward behind the rubble and desolate shells of houses and stores.

Raz heard Alai thud on the ground nearby and slowly walked towards the area, pushing through the alleyway after them, going through the alleyway to another open street with more foliage but still some visible stores, Raz then squinted at a bright red sign in the distance and read 'General store' and he immediately became happy over it and started towards it.

Alai heard footfalls from behind her. She was being followed. She quickly turned around but her pursuer had already gone. Snorting with both anger and relief, she peered around the corner of a brick wall, watching as the dragon started the other way towards the general store. Stupid dragon, Alai thought with contempt. Whatever's left in that building is already destroyed or cleaned out. Not to mention dangerous mutated creatures could be lurking around in there. But in the end, one less living thing meant one less competitor for resources. Alai looked around and realized the fox was far behind the dragon. Shouldn't the dragon get help from his pal before he does something reckless?

Raz made it to the general store and found several boxes of twinkies... and mutated anthros, so Raz sighed and cocked his head back before blowing up the anthros inside, leaving charred remains, but had gotten really tired from using more of his remaining strength, so when he was sure that the anthros were dead, Raz dragged himself inside and threw the boxes out of the store and onto the outside sidewalk, along with a few popped cans of beans, and when he finished he waited for Connor, guarding the pile.

*Connor caught up to Razuel and noticed the boxes of food* "Hey, nice find but..." *Connor cautiously scanned the buildings* "...I hate the openess of the streets, could we go inside?"

Alai observed as the building seemed to have caught on fire, but dragon came out with boxes of food. Another stupid decision--you can sneak easily around the mutated creatures or even fight them off with enough manpower or skill, without having to blow up an entire stock of intact food and supplies. Upon closer inspection of the boxes, they seemed to be full of junk food. Alai almost hissed, Twinkies and canned food wouldn't give you energy or nutrition, only a stomachache. She suddenly found herself wondering why she was so critical of the dragon's decision making. After all, junk food might be the only thing in there, or he was too panicked by the monsters and just grabbed what he first saw. Alai saw the fox walk up out of the corner of her eye. She wondered if they really were just trying to survive like her, they didn't seem like they were up to no good--they stuck together and only took what they needed. But Alai knew better than to just trust what she saw--she needed facts.
She came from around the corner, her handpaw removing itself from the blade by her side. She slowly and quietly walked towards them, trying to look as harmless as possible--which is hard when you have the face of the predator the ancient Aztecs revered and the presence of a loan shark.

Razuel perked up when he saw Alai, rolling a can of much room soup to them as they approached, confident that his size would ward off any planned harm to him, he then looked at Connor and gave them a can, "Connor open?", he spoke in an almost innocent voice.

*Connor snapped his aim onto the stranger when he noticed them* "I suppose you're friendly"
