Hi. I usually use the name Rain. I am a white male in his twenties and my interests include strategy games and the English language (I'm not a native speaker).
I've known about the furry fandom for roughly 7 years, yet I'm unsure whether I identify as a furry. Maybe I do, but not in the common sense. Is there a board here for discussing such a thing seriously?

Hello and welcome to the forums and fandom :D
If you consider yourself to be a furry, then you are one. Being a furry can range in all different directions, and is different for every individual.
For example, the general explanation for someone who identifies themselves as a furry is that they like furry -or anthropomorphic- art. This can range from animals standing upright, to animals simply having facial similarities/emotions (such as smiling, crying, etc. etc.).
For myself being a furry means a variety of things. I like to see furry artwork, but moreso make artwork. I have a couple of characters, some are personas (or fursonas in this case), each character represents me in a certain way. Generally I present myself as Ventus Fall, a dragon ^_^
If you don't think you identify yourself as a furry, that's totally fine too! ^^ We accept furries and non-furries ;)
