Story
--------------
This RP takes place in a different planet, some thousands of light years away. The story revolves around two nations going to war with each other, Anochia and Republica. Anochia invades two neighboring nations next to Republica. Replublica takes this as a threat and goes to war with Anochia to push them out of these two nations and stop this worlds first World War. Replublica fails and is pushed back into their own nation, Anochia then invades Republica. This is were you all get involved. You all play as soldiers of the Replublican First Army. This is this worlds equivalent to the first World War of our world
Rules

1: No powers, your normal anthros. Nothing special.
2: If your killed, you can't come back.
3: You may make a second character if you ask.
4: Listen to orders and the commanders.

Misc: usually wearing the standard medical uniform. He is known around base camp as one of the best medics/surgeons on the field and at base. He usually carries a lee enfield .303 when he's on the field with a custom made sling so he can have it on his back. He is also known to be very accurate with his rifle which earned him the name Hidden Death around the other battalions but prefers to be called Scalpel by others, he also calls his rifle Lobotomizer. He is also great at strategy games as well as chess and is usually seen playing chess with the other battalions when he has free time.

(Don't you know how long AND heavy a 50 is? Not to mention the extra weight and length of a suppressor.)
Quick question MetalGearStowe, what military era are we in? Big difference between WWI and modern day.

I didn't even notice the 50cal part, but this is in a World War 1 era.

Ok. I'm sure you're aware, but .50 cals nor SUPPRESSORS (that's the proper name for the because they don't silence the gun, they just suppress most of the noise) existed back then everyone else.
Should be the final question: can I be a Marine instead of Army?

I know that they .50 cal was not a thing back then, also yes you can be a Marine, but do take note that this is on another planet. Not ours. But yes you can be a Marine.

I didn't know this was during the WWI era, I thought it was around our time period and they didn't have any global wars yet. I can change the caliber to a .303 or .223 if you like I'll also drop the suppressor as well. Again, I thought it was taking place around our time period.

Maybe a British .303 Lee Enfield? Very popular back then. .223 didn't exist until 1964

Border of Republica
The sky was dark, snow slowly feel from the sky as the sounds of gunfire and bombs could be heard in the distance. The trenches were cold and damp. A radio played a traditional Republican song.

I am in a chair by the radio cleaning my rifle as I usually do when I'm bored and waiting for something to happen. I look around seeing other soldiers walking from place to place, some of them being deployed out to the front lines and some coming back from the front lines hoping they don't have to go back. I finish cleaning my rifle and get up, heading for my battalion's barracks.

Sergeant Jack Brown was in the barracks reading the latest letter he got. He finished, put back on his kit, picked up his rifle, and went to check on the rest of his men.
